I've also decided to give myself some incentive. Everytime I resist getting fast food, I'm going to put whatever money that I was going to spend on the junk in my piggie bank. Same thing goes for diet sodas. Everytime I trade a soda for water or green tea, I'm putting a dollar in my piggie bank. At the end of Lent, if I managed to resist for more than 95% of the challenge, then I can spend the money I've saved any way I want!
Courtnie -- Wow, my parent's were mean -- I had no clue there was a "Sunday off" going on. But, I'm not to good at getting myself back on track with things, so I'm with you -- Sundays are going to count for me too.

Hey All!
I'm new to this website. I saw the lent idea and thought it was great! For lent this year i'm going to give up fried foods and sweet foods. Hopefully it works I'd love to meet or chat with anyone, just send me a message
hey y'all sorry i haven't checked in in a while, yeah HAHA to all of you cause my lent starts a day later (nyah hah) being in Australia. Although I haven't had any CHEEZE since yesterday so. I admire all of you for chosing your "achilles heel" and give you all will power to see this derned challenge through.
I'm in.. I have already given up soda so I guess I have to give up sitting on my butt. I was injured and have not been able to exercise and now I have been given the green light to start slow. So for the next 40 days and nights I will move my arse.
Who's with me >> insert cartwheel here<<< LOL
OOHHH! I know there is only one day left, but I want to join! Hope that's cool.
So I'm going to give up processed sugar and flour. So no white, brown sugar and no white flour.
But I have to start on the 22nd because tomorrow we're celebrating my dad's b-day and there is cake. And I have to have a bit (since I baked it). But after that, no more sugar for forty days. I'll end one day later.
