Donna, I'm sorry you're getting sick. That's so discouraging. Just take good care of yourself, hon.

I did a painful workout yesterday.
Out of 30 minutes on the treadmill, I ran:
9 minutes
3 minutes
3 minutes

And I did a little weight work-out. My legs are still killing me. The tops of my thighs. I don't remember going through all this pain when I was 20!!!

Hi everyone,

I went out this afternoon with the intent of going for a little jog, half an hour or so. But I happened to meet a few friends and we walked around the neighborhood for more than 2 hours! Turns out I burned about 100 more calories than I would have jogging Plus I stayed out of the house/kitchen for an extra 90 minutes!

Hope you all have been active! Weather's great here, the last of summer.

My challenge for myself is to take the stairs at work instead of the elevators, use my treadmill at least every other night increasing the distance a bit each night, and buy a new seat for my bike, so I can ride it on occasion too.

Donna: Get well soon !

justjodi: Great job!

Tisha___: Sounds like a great plan! Good luck!

Ok, I did my workout this morning, but I am a but handicapped. Yes, there is still PMS with me, which seem to make me a bit clumsy...I stumbled yesterday and fall down. My right knee hit the edge of a stone step and I have bruises on the other leg to. Now it seems as if I had two right knees, itīs a bit red and swollen...Oh, and it hurts. Itīs a bit tricky to perform your workout in such condition, but it can be done

Hello all!

Kate, way to go for persevering even though you're injured! But be careful not to hurt yourself more!

Donna, well, you obviously want to be active, so as soon as you get better (soon!) you won't have any trouble starting up again.

Jodi, Tisha, great work, ladies!

As for myself, I plan to go running this afternoon. Yesterday I had a killer migraine, so I pretty much lay in bed all day.

Hey, just two days to go and we need a new thread!

I did my workout today....really have a tough time to insure myself that itīs ok to be total clumsy at the beginning because it will hopefully improve with the exercises....you know, if I would be fit and had very good movement skills, I probably didnīt have to do that exercises. But i am not so patient with myself at the moment....

Great job to everybdy here exercising!

Good going, everyone!!

Donna, I'm glad you're starting to feel better!

Kate, you're doomed. Doomed, I tell you.
Patience, hon... you'll get there. And you're doing it NOW! Don't forget that.

Tisha, welcome! Yes, a good bike seat is very important.

Jodi and knot, good going, girls!!

I can't believe it... I haven't worked out for four days! But I think that's good, because I had a great workout this morning.
A 12 minute run and a six minute run!
And a weight workout.
My legs felt good today. Well, not good, but not bad.

I hope everyone is having a good day... keep working your muscles, girls!

Ok, ladies, I am in. Sorry it's a little late, I hope I can still join. Starting this coming week (seeing as this one's over), I will walk at least 30 minutes out on the track 3x a week.
