This evening I'm going to my fifth exercise class.

Keep it up, ladies!!

Donna, I'm sorry you're still sick, hon. Don't get discouraged... just do what you can, even if it's just a walk.

Fishwoman, I'm glad you're all better, hon!

I went to my exercise class last night, and then went for a walk with DH. 1.5 hours of exercise!!

Keep up the good work, exercising girls!!

Hi all - I'm doing better now. I, too, had a cold, and didn't exer for one week. Could only do 35 minutes on the treadmill yesterday - just was SOOOO tired. I thought I would go back last night for some more - haven't been hitting the weights. But too tired.

I started the month by going and buying a pedometer. But I lost it on my trip to San Diego... boo..boo. Therefore, I am not going to count steps, but keep counting minutes. It really helps to have the encouragement. Thanks chickies!!

My stupid job prevented me from working out both Tuesday and Wednesday I love what I do, but I don't like when I have 20-hour work days. Fortunately, those are fairly infrequent, but it's always so tiring. And then I don't eat right, because I'm at work all day and all night.

But, I walked (briskly) around the city for one hour and 15 minutes last night , and I got in a 30 minute walk this morning.

45 mins today put me at 600 mins for the month. Only 400 to go don't think I'll make it because that would be 100 mins a day ,but I'll see how close I can get.

Goal 1000mins

630 mins 2/25
700 mins 2/27

Donna, it's part of my new (and expensive, but worth it!) program.
I'm in Phase I (there are three Phases), so I go three times a week.
It's a 30 minute class, and first we warm up and get our cardio rate up. Then we start using weights and those band thingys.
We do squats, biceps curls, chest flys, shoulder presses, bent-over arm rows, etc, plus some sit-ups, hip rolls, bridging, leg raises, etc.
The instructors really pack it in, and the 30 minutes just fly by.

I had a positively lousy day yesterday. It's TOM, and I laid around all day feeling sorry for myself and eating too much.
I'm not beating up on myself, though. I'm feeling better and more energetic today, and I'm going to do a mini-workout at home.
That's the best thing I've learned while taking this program... I'm not a failure if I have a bad day! I acknowledge that I was "out-of-sorts" yesterday, and I'm moving on.

I hope everyone gets in some exercise today... you're all doing great, despite colds and coughs!!

March is biting at our heels, girls!! Let's keep at it!!
