  • I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in over two weeks - managed to do 34 minutes on the elliptical, but had to be on a very low resistance level. I managed on level 5 for about 15 minutes and then had to bump down to level 3 just so I could breath. Ugh, I am so tired of being sick .

    2/08 - 40 minutes walking
    2/09 - 20 minutes walking
    2/10 - nothing
    2/11 - 30 minutes - elliptical
    2/12 - nothing
    2/13 - 30 minutes yoga
    2/14 - 60 minutes walking
    2/15 - 30 minutes walking
    2/16 - 34 minutes elliptical

  • I'm at 636 minutes of exercise...wow I can't believe I've done that much already...I've been riding my stationary bike on level 1 only I find I can ride faster and get a better workout than when I up the level..also with the level higher it hurts my legs...
  • I 've been sick ,but now I'm better and need to get my butt moving again!
    I only have 385mins of my 1000 min goal

  • I want to join this challenge.....although I am joining in a little late in the game. I just have to get moving. So, Feb 16 I did 20 min aerobics, 10 min free weights....Feb 17 I started The Firm series 30 min(man that one kicked the heck out of me!!! Quite difficult!)....Feb 18 I did 20 min of ab, butt and thigh pilates. It's a start!

    plb@m, I'm sorry you've been sick, hon, and glad you're starting to feel better. Come on... get back in gear, girl. It doesn't matter about goals... let's all just plug away at it and do the best we can.

    I did a 30 minute cardio/weights class yesterday.

  • Plm - I know how you feel..I also have been sick all week..glad your feeling better

    I have managed to get in my exercise every day except for 2 days cause I was just to weak and drained but I forced myself on the other days and I really felt better afterwards....I might get in some today but not sure..my breathing is not that good the last few days...

    flowergirl - It's never too late to start a challenge and exercise...just get moving and make a smaller goal for this month... your off to a great start.

  • Ellis~ Alas no poor Yorrick has not lost a pound Nor an ounce for that matter!! Been exercising with LindaT and you would have thought being with the Queen of cattle prods that the weight would have jumped ship, huh? Maybe this month when I get off some of the meds. How are you doing?!
  • Morning everyone..well I'm down 1.8lbs this week and I'm at 688 minutes of exercise...I'm feeling better today and hoping to start my exercise back up...

    Oh, I'm just dandy, thank you. My new program is going well (I didn't tell you about it, eh?), and my meds are working. (knock on wood)

    Winter arrived briefly here (we're in a warming trend again and should hit 50 in a few days), with air temps around zero accompanied by our lovable Nebraska winds! Oh, yes -- but spring is getting closer by the day. Hurry, hurry! Let's see if you can get here before winter tries another comeback!

    I did an intentional rest day yesterday for the first time in a long while. My body loved it because I've really kicked it up here lately. So I think I'll try to get them in on a regular basis. Here is February so far --
    Feb. 1 -- 60 minutes step aerobics
    Feb. 2 -- 57 minutes circuit training (high step)
    Feb. 3 -- 54 minutes floor aerobics/abs
    Feb. 4 -- 69 minutes step aerobics
    Feb. 5 -- 46 minutes Pilates
    Feb. 6 -- 58 minutes step aerobics
    Feb 7 -- 58 minutes The Firm (weights/cardio)
    Feb 8 -- 60 minutes step aerobics
    Feb 9 -- 55 minutes functional fitness (weights w/cardio)
    Feb 10 -- 52 minutes (42 hi-lo aerobics, 10 quick Pilates routine)
    Feb 11 -- 78 minutes (40 step aerobics, 38 toning & stretch)
    Feb 12 -- 33 minutes cardio dance
    Feb 13 -- 54 minutes step aerobics
    Feb 14 -- 60 minutes "functional fitness" TLT workout
    Feb 15 -- 60 minutes The Firm Super Cardio
    Feb 16 -- 58 minutes The Firm/weights
    Feb 17 -- 54 minutes (48 high-low aerobics, 6 abs)
    Feb 18 -- 82 minutes (42 step aerobics, 40 body toning)
    Feb 19 -- REST (intentionally scheduled day)
    Feb 20 -- 60 minutes (54 step aerobics, 6 abs -- Cathe)

  • Only 20mins today .Don't think I'm going to make my goal ,but I'm going to keep going. Maybe next month I'll start a new one and make it.
