Default There She Is!

Ellis- I definitely think you should put Bridge Mix on the list of foods that are not loving you back I pray for you EVERY morning; you, Christy, Kat, the 3 fat chicks, all the ladies on the boards, Sandi, Painter Woman, CeeJay. Its a 25 min drive to work I can pray for lots of things, lots of people, AND BE VERY THANKFUL for all of them and the beautiful world we live in

Hazmat Response Team- Is the Hazardous Material Response Team you have the IC(Incident Commander), the Safety Officer (SO), a First Responder (in case you need to suit up in full gear, a Communications Officer. I am a trained IC, soon to be also First Responder Trained, and usually I act as communications officer as well. First you acess the scene, come up with a plan that will be the least hazardous for people, and then try to contain the spill. Sounds like fun, huh

I am glad your okay I need Ellis and her sense of humor in my life!
Miss Chris

Ellis - I read a statistic that says that in any given crop of new teachers, something like 20% quit after their first year, 20% quit after their fifth year, and virtually all have quit by their tenth year. So yes, burnout is definitely a factor! I spent my first two years in one of the worst school districts in the state (and possibly the nation)under one of the most horrible prinicpals imaginable and ended up resigning in April of my second year. I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown...crying every single day, having very strong suicidal thoughts, and -of course- stuffing it all down with loads and loads of food! I am teaching in a different school this year and, although the district I'm in now has much of the same problems of poverty and under-parented children, I am blessed with a wonderful administration and a school full of teachers who *truly* want to make a difference.
