Yes I made it, thanks! It was such a long day! On top of everything, my DS dropped by but did not eat anything --my 3 DS were in a hurry to get to a football match--, so now I have lots of goodies at home. But I made it, and today the scale says that I weigh one kilo less! I still cannot believe it, so I will wait some days before I change my ticker.
Today I am very hungry again, but I am starting to think I need to get used to this if I want to continue losing weight. So far, while I did not feel hungry, things were quite easy... This is the time to test my courage! LOL We could think about ourselves as heroines and heroes who fight their chocolate dragons...
Have a great week! And remember: eating one piece of something does not mean we have to eat the whole fridge! Let's pull ouselves together in time and jump back on the wagon before losing control!

Feeling great and staying in control! 6 days under my belt. I feel good about that. Stayed strong over the weekend, too.

Inglesita, thanks for your tips and starting this thread.

Congratulations to everyone who has done do well. I'm back to square one.. ugh... Today I did really well though and tomorrow is another new day. I just wish I knew why the first 3-4 days of getting back on track is SO hard. I think I just get down and want to throw in the towel, but reading about how happy you all are in your success is helpful. I just need to get out of this funk!

danzingurl, are you feeling bad about the audition? Or is there something else bothering you? Whenever I blow it, it's because I'm stressed about something, or something bad happened. Focus on your audition coming up. Take my hand, and let's conquer this pattern together. We can do this! ((Hugs))

Getting back on track is really difficult, and the longer we eat unhealthy food, the harder it gets. I think it is a question of habit: we get used to certain tastes --vegetables, fruit-- and get to like them, but if we eat sweet stuff, then those other tastes are not appealing to us. Maybe a lot of the food industry is based on that idea!
That is why if I want to eat a little "something" I find it is better for me to eat it as part of an otherwise healthy meal, so I won't stop eating the lettuce and the chicken to have the something... Next day, I it is not that hard to go on eating the chicken and the lettuce!
Danzingirl, it is great you are back on track. Try to relax a little and think of the benefits of staying healthy...

i kinda binged yesterday on chocolate but i know it's because i ate soo little few days prior so i had to make up for that lol and it was only about 800 cal over my normal cal intake. i'm not beating myself too much because i treat it as an indulgence after a long time and also it helped to my digestion and bowel movement haha
so back on track today

Thank you girls for the support! How I eat depends heavily on how stressed I am too- and the last week I have had a lot going on, and although I'm sure that's the reason I got so off-track, I wish I knew what to do to stop! It's like a control issue- when things get crazy I just want to use food as an escape and let myself "do whatever I want" about SOMETHING, and let loose in one aspect- but I'm feeling better here on day two and had the day off from one of my jobs this morning, so I spent the day catching up on some work and cleaning house-- I feel a thousand times better.

Missunshine- way to get back on track and not beat yourself up!

The sun will be coming out soon- yay! Life is always better with some sunlight and longer days!

I had a yoga class and line dancing class today. Great classes for the mental and physical. Did great food-wise, too.

danzingurl, Sun does make us feel a lot better. I know I like being out in it. By the way, are you addressing me as Miss Sunshine? I wasn't sure if you were talking to me.LOL Great name, though.

Binged badly today oh well I guess new goal is just to make it longer until the next binge. This time I made it 9 days so I'm going to make it til at least 11 more days til another binge. Not that it's acceptable to binge ever...but eh what can you do. Actually I was weakened by PMS today so on second thought, I bet I can make it two weeks at least before my next binge.

Ok this is kinda funny...i thought my scale was broken because it said i weighed 151.5 this morning...i moved it around and it still said the same thing. I hadn't weighed on this scale since Saturday (was out of town) and at the time i was 153.5, but i was expecting to gain, not lose, due to the time of month. Well i'm sure my binge will come back to haunt me in the next couple days (it always does...water retention).

But, i ran more than 8 miles this morning...took advantage of the extra carb loading. The carbs really do give you extra energy.

Today is day 4 without a binge. I've noticed that I usually binge when something bad happens or I'm upset, so I'm trying to be cognizant of that. And the scale has moved, thankfully!

I'm not binging, but I am eating more than normal and feel stuck in a cycle of carbs and chocolate. This is a one-way street and I don't like what lies at the end...
