Said no to sugary cereal this morning (had plain cheerios instead). Said no to high-sodium pretzels at lunch and stuck to just fruit and my wrap. Said no to morning snack because I ate a BIG bowl of those cheerios.
Preparing to say no to whatever I can't eat from dinner tonight and whatever dessert they have!
Friday I had lunch out at a Thai restaurant with people from work and had steamed veggies and brown rice with no sauce! I used to have pad thai and a Thai iced tea (made with condensed milk).
Then Saturday I said no to pizza, a food I used to binge on.
Ive been craving my favourite pizza from our local pizzeria for about four days now and tonight out of nowhere my boyfriend picked one up for me on the way home....it was like my craving manifested! But I said no and had a bunch of grapes!
I got home from my bike trip and was pooped and instead of making kraft dinner or something junky, i made whole wheat spaghetti with tomato sauce, chicken breast, and mushrooms.
Today after eating an early meal with my mom and cousins at around 6:30 pm, then a very small piece of dessert around 9 pm, I felt sooo starved, and especially since I'd gone to the gym and burned a lot of calories. I felt so hungry and was craving some of the food I'd eaten at dinner, like I wanted to go head long into a big meal of rice and steak. I said to myself No way! And I'm sooo glad I did!

Wow...now THAT is willpower!!! I don't know if I could be that strong...Pad Thai is my absolute favorite. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Good job!!!

Again, crazy willpower...good for you!!! Having it right there in your house and you still resisted??? Good job!!!
Saturday I was having a serious pizza craving and considered ordering some. I ended up making myself a couple of mini pizzas with a whole wheat thin bun. Topped it with pizza sauce, onion, mushrooms, a little crumbled ground beef and italian cheese and baked until the cheese was melted and the "crust" was a little crispy - It was great, fed the craving and was less than 300 calories.
Today I was seriously wanting some junk food - chips & dip, snack cakes, etc. It was like my head was visiting a buffet. I stopped at the store on the way home and got all the fresh fixings for a salad, some hummus and some low fat corn tortillas. I came home and had a huge, amazing salad. I took two of the corn tortillas (40 calories each) and browned them on the stove (non-stick spray) and ate them with 2 tablespoons of the hummus (35 calories). I am stuffed! Cravings satisifed (or ignored) and all for under 450 healthy calories.
