kinda stopped mid-binge. was thinking of F*ck it go eat more and i just kinda stopped. so even though i have been binging, i will call this a victory.

i swear i just kinda said "ya know i'm not really hungry." so i just got up and came to my bedroom. weird.

ok i hope everyone is doing OK. hang in there!

Thumbs up

mdl - That's awesome!!!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of baby steps. Small victories mean as much as the big ones!

i think in bigger is better america we dont really celebrate the small stuff ya know? but the truth is, its how i act when i'm offline/not in the public eye that i want to act with dignity and treat myself like a queen and be good to myself without turning to food

mdl - Treating yourself that way when you are alone is just as important, if not more, then when other people are around. From experience, I know that it can be alot harder then when you are with other people, though.

Learning to celebrate the small things and focus on the positive, rather then dwelling on the negative, really helped me get to where I am today - confident and loving maintenance

its 2 AM . i am not hungry. but i wouldnt say no to the following if they were in my apt right now:

french fries
waffles
blondies
choc covered pretzels
choc covered anything
macaroons the size of my head
cereal

i had a great date last nite and i really *thought* the dude was gonna call today. on one hand it was awesome fodder to work out like a beast. on the other hand the tears have been flowing. i actually wasn't even hungry that much today b/c i was so upset but i still ate -- trying not to beat myself up over it (remember how humans function -- eating food for energy...righttttt)

hard when you are pushing the big 30 and you can count on one hand the amount of guys that you thought you really clicked with. argh. OK now i'm getting angry again. wow i cant wait to work out again

so here is my plan for tmrw:
work out
go to work
eat when hungry
eat small/healthy portions

if i am too upset and cant deal:
tell my best friend i'm fcking saddddd
manicure/pedicure
shoulder massage
take a walk
steam room
sip tea on my rug and stare at the nite sky
simpsons marathon
do a puzzle
write
say yes to another date instead of feeling bad for myself
take a dance class

mdl,

I want to give you a great big ! I am so proud of you for staying so positive, and meeting life head on even when you are faced with a big dissapointment.

I am really struggling right now. I'm really tired and sad, and I know that I'm not dealing with it very well. You give me hope.

You are in my thoughts. Have a good weekend, hon!

I had 2500 calories of brownies for dinner today. This is after the giant green bean omelet and fruit. I really want my stomach pumped right now, that's a lot of empty calories.

Zepher, I've felt that way every single time I've overeaten a huge amount since I started my healthy lifestyle. Here's wishing you a much better Saturday!

This is my first post. i'm happy that i found this site and i like the idea of writing down the foods that we want to binge on. i hope it helps me!

i want to eat.... the whole world. gahh...

but for now i'll just list some of the ones at the top of my list:
red velvet cake
soft batch chocolate chip cookies
chocolate brownie cookies
a muffin
pumpkin pastry
black and white cupcake
twix
any type of chips
rice

i hate being a binger.... i've been so good for the past two months and now i'm starting to go back to my old ways. why do i make food my enemy? i know that it's not!!! argghh... frustration...

mdl - You are not a loser! As for me, I'm just feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Kinda like the rest of the world right now *lol*

prelude83 - If I had all that in my house, I would be in serious trouble! *lol* I totally understand how you feel.
Sending you lots of Best wishes, hon.

Thank you, ladies. I did much better today.

Prelude - 2 months is awesome, that's more will power than I ever had. Keep up the good work! I've found that after long periods of not having any junk food, when I eat them they no longer taste as good: the sweet and fat become too intense I no longer enjoy them after a few bites. But sometimes I binge anyway because I Remember how good they tasted before.

zepher -- i do the same thing!! not even with sweets necessarily but eating something and i dont even like it that much but am attached to whatever associations i have with it (its healthy, have childhood memories of it, its sweet, its salty -- whatever things i attach to it) so i just keep zoning out and eating it...

prelude83- girl that sounds like an awesome binge

i ate enough and am not hungry but my head says to eat the following right now:

blondies. lots and lots of blondies.
sweet potato chips
trail mix
fresca

hi. i'm new to this thread. i always new i had a problem with binging but always joked about it with my non-binging friends cuz i didn't know it was really a serious problem. i had no idea there were so many other people thinking the same way as me about food.

i binged last night and as a result i've had a tummy ache all day. i ate lunch anyway and i'm not hungry, but i want to eat:

-the rest of the huge christmas tin of assorted popcorn at my house
-a pan of brownies
-as many krispy kreme donuts as i can buy without looking like a fat pig
-the largest size mocha available at tim horton's and and apple fritter or three
-french fries
