Oh my!!! That reminds me of something that happened while I was working. Me and the nice boss lady (Debbie) were out measuring houses. While we were coming back on this busy road (4 lanes--but not a superhighway) we stopped dead in our tracks (the vehicle that is)....cuz in the middle of our lane was this mother duck and her ducklings!!! The vehicle in the next lane stopped as well---so we pretty much caused a traffic jam! lol. But the stupid mother duck took off to the side of the road and left her ducklings behind!!! We shooed them to the side of the road and I used a clipboard to life each duckling up (wasn't sure how ducks handled human scent on babies) to the grass seeing how they were too small to do it themselves.
Good dead accomplished...and just in the nick of time as a cop was coming in the opposite direction and I don't think they'd think too highly of what we were doing. lol.
