Journeygirl: Don't feel dumb. I put eggs on, boiled all the water out of it and then proceeded to stick them under COLD water. Now THAT was stupid. Ever seen an exploding egg? ALL over my kitchen. It's amazing what 2 innocent eggs can do. lol

Abbie: Hope you enjoy your time at home and it's not as stressful as it's sounding!!

Lori: I can't imagine running. Or jogging. I always swore this white woman didn't run/jump. Maybe some day

Karen: I'm hoping you're right. My scale really hasn't moved in over a month. Not sure what to do to jump start it. Thought exercising would do it. If I tone over lose weight that's be good too. But I need my lower belly firmed. Any suggestions?

TG: Don't feel bad. I get the same way. Um, my youngest DD is 9 and is a chatterbox. Try having TWO children AND a dog follow you--even into the bathroom!!

Mrs H: Sounds great to have the afternoon off. Hope you enjoy it

Jane: ya know, it just isn't fair sometimes that people can eat what they want and still lose weight . I think I'm stuck in this low-induction as the only way I can lose weight. But congrats on being able to move up!!!

Catgirl: I can't imagine having energy enough to get up early in the morning and exercising. Good for you!!

Well, I just realised my "pits" haven't stunk so I'm guessing that to mean I'm still not burning fat. What's a person gotta do to get that metabolism machine a chugging away? It's getting downright disgusting. Wouldn't be so bad if the tape ruler was going down, but that hasn't moved (except in my legs) either. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. It has me stumped.

Brenda: I am not as motivated as you think! Here is the story. A department store in Houston was giving away $15.00 gift cards to the first 300 customers. My friend and I were going to go at 6:00 this morning and wait in line. I changed my mind, and while I was up, I popped the dvd in. I never would have gotten up that early unless there was some kind of incentive! The only time I get up earlier than six is to go to the bathroom!

Don't worry about the stall. It will end soon. Are you eating any sugar alcohols? Those advantage bars, shakes and endulge bars really stalled me. Hang in there!

Brenda: I didn't purposely bump up my carbs it just happened to be the way it turned out and I still lost. Don't forget though I only lose 1 pound a week whereas others here lose 2 or more. This woe has been easy but at the same time frustrating. I am afraid to really increase my carb count because it has taken me so long to lose what little I have and I don't want to gain it back. But, it does show that if we increase it a little at a time like the book says to and we still lose then I guess they are right.

I for one CANNOT eat anything I want and never will be able to.

Journey Girl: You would not believe the rain we are getting here in Boston. Abbie can attest to that! It has been raining for a couple of days now and is supposed to continue until Monday....when they say it is going to SNOW!

Speaking of Abbie: glad you are getting out of this horrible weather. Have a wonderful holiday with your family. I know that you will do great.

LoriAS: I really wish I could run.....you should see me.....like an akward elephant in sneakers No really, I for some reason cannot get a nice stride and it just feels like I am SMACKING the pavement and my whole body hurts. I try to run/walk sometimes and that is ok. The nicer weather is coming and that will motivate all of us to get outside more. Have fun at school tonight.

KarenW: Hi you are so busy lately.

Theo'sgirl: WOOHOOO welcome to the baggy a$$ club as I like to call it. A guy friend at work keeps telling me my a$$ is baggy in all my pants now. I take that as a compliment. I'm sure the kids know that you were just frustrated. They will forgive.

Mrs H: Glad they found someone to work the second shift. Enjoy your night!

Catgirl67: I love the WATP video that I have. I have the 2 mile and I do it about 3 times a week unless I get outside for a walk. I have never had an exercise video that I continue to use.

Shimma: Have fun with your bf this weekend

I bet I forgot someone in here.....if I did I will try to check in before I head home for the day.

StarPrincess: hope you are doing ok. Can't wait to hear from you.

Catgirl: Nope. I rarely eat sugar alcohols. Well, if I do it's just in one week. Maybe I'm just too close to where I want to be and my body's saying "now wait a minute. We're not giving up the fat that easy"?

Jane: every time I bump up my carbs I don't lose. Of course, I always try and bump it up with sunflower seeds. Maybe those don't agree with me? I'll have to try and add something else instead. I'm still at the low end I think

I actually exercised some today... it is a first since starting Aktins.... I have only exercised once since I moved into my new house, that was the last week in NOVEMBER... Well, it is a new month and well I think I have maxed out what I am going to lose with out putting in some effort. I don't mind exercise I just don't seem to ever, EVER be able to find the time. Well to make a long story short. I am going to make an effort to hit the street or the treadmill at least 30 minutes a day.... doesn't sound like much but it is better than nothing....

I actually dread the fact it is Friday this is my weekend to work so I am already sucking wind. 3-12's is hard on anyone and I am working someone else shift for the weekend so instead of 3p-3a I am working 7p-7a... Bring on the JAVA...

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend... I expect to not be back until Monday unless work is slow

Hugs to you all~
Wasn't Star suppose to have surgery today? Hope all went well.
