Happy Friday!

Someone asked yesterday for my TGIFriday's review, but sadly, my friend I was going with had to work late, so we didnt end up going. But I did go shopping instead so that is always a bonus! I bought this awesome hot pink purse that I have wanted since December and yesterday it was finally on sale! I got it for 14.99 and it was orginally 48! I love sales!

I also bought a skirt and it was a size FOUR! Its crazy how sizes can differ, even throughout the same store, another skirt I tried on was an 8 and was way too tight. Ah, the joys of being a woman!

And I did get some vitamins finally, thanks for everyone suggestions, I think I found a good batch. No sugars, starches, or iron and lots of the good stuff. Now I just have to force myself into gagging them down twice a day. These things are monsterous and I have trouble with my teeny tiny BC pill, its going to be interesting how long I last with them!

Anyway, happy Friday everyone, I am down 4 pounds since Monday (ah, the joys of losing water weight on induction) so I am one happy camper!!

Hey all! Not much time for personals, but please be assured that I am blowing kisses to all of you!

Brenda - I'm so glad you like the ZCarb bars. I think they're fantastic! I'm like the dark chocolate because it's supposed to be good for you (flavanoids). Did you notice what I consider the best part of all???? 9 grams of fiber!!!! Good good good! That keeps me from having to use those other chocolate bars

I'm very happy today. **** time is over!!!! I'm leaving work at 11:30 this morning and going to an eye surgeon to discuss laser surgery. I'm so excited, I could just piddle. I've always had this dream of being able to see my alarm clock instead of just hearing it. Cross your fingers for me!

After the Dr. appt, DH and I are off to go play with his little brother. Since I'm trying to avoid both alcohol and stagnating, I only agreed to go if there was a pre-arranged plan as to what we would be doing, so it's batting cages, bowling and dinner at the Roadside Steakhouse. I love that place! There's just something naughty and fun about tossing peanut shells on the floor

Have a fabulous day and a more fabulous weekend!!!

Forgot to mention: Friday's menu is really pretty good! Beware the tuscan spinach dip, though. I seem to be unable to stop myself from eating it all!!! Soooooooooo good!

Star: How many fingers am I holding up? I pray your surgery goes well! You will see that alarm clock before long. You will be able to cuss it out for hearing it, and seeing that you really don't have five more minutes! Good luck!

Hello, been busy busy the last few days as it seems we always are.

Aly - that size 4 must have felt good, even though sizes are about as standard as well, nothing. Although many of us will never see a size 4, not bitter this body does size 8 and that's it but I have an idea, size 14, whiteout, need I say more?

Cat - Moooo

Mrs H. - I missed welcoming you I think so howdy! Have a hoot without hubby and enjoy that shopping.

Karen - Glad to hear about the legs, hope the last surgery stays with you for a bit longer than a few months ugh. We should start the 5a.m. workout club, drive everyone nuts, nothing worse than a morning person all happy cheery and sweaty , go job girl, keep it up!

TG - Holy crap that's like 45lbs already, I'm waiting for you to hit ONEderland we're gonna have to strap you to the floor to keep you grounded, congrats.

Leenie - And breath 2,3,4, now squeeze 2, 3, 4 see it even sounds like a workout.

Teece - Welcome to you too, I've missed a few of you guys this week, glad you're finding us helpful, and foolish at times of course, looking forward to see more of you.

Lori- Welcome to the daily hun, the personal post are definitely overwhelming at times, like for example right now but we all have our own style so feel free to do as you feel.

Jane - holy positive attitude, that's fantastic, does it count if you make goal while on your trip/ Heck that would be an even bigger accomplishment me thinks, you have done awesome!

Shimma - Read your post about school the other day, very sorry to hear that, what about trying another school, or is it too late to apply? I know they are hurting for nurses everywhere so there has to be a way.

Brenda -

As for little old me, i ended up needing to get a new scale df got on the old one and broke it, he still doesn't think he needs to lose anything, sure we'll just keep believing that. Sooo, the new one, which is far more accurate I'm sure, weighs me 7 pounds heavier so I adjusted all my weights up, even my start cuz dang it I've already lost 58 whichever way you cut it. But I'm actually kind of excited about it because thinking I only had 17lbs to go, then looking at myself it didn't seem right, now with 24lbs left, that makes far more sense. Worked out good, just have to work on the scale breaker!

Have a great day.

I just had the coolest idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking this morning that I wish I had taken my measurements when I started this plan. I never did and now that I am down I am curious how they have changed. My size hasn't changed much so I wonder what the new numbers are.
SOOOOOOOOOO I called the place where I bought my wedding dress and asked if they had the numbers! They did!!!! Now I can go home and take my NEW measurements. THEY BETTER BE SMALLER

I will fill you in on Monday.

Jane, congrats on finding your measurements!

Tummy, WAY TO GO! Sorry about the scale, but it's still just a number. Awesome weight loss!

Star, I had laser surgery four years ago and consider the surgery nothing short of a miracle. My vision was 20/550 in each eye. I also could not see the alarm clock (no matter how big the numbers were) and if my glasses fell off of my nightstand, I had to get down on my hands and knees and pat around to find them. I just couldn't see them no matter how low I got to the floor. Anyhow, the surgery was completely painfree (although it looks pretty bad). Most people can see clearly right afterwards. I was one of the ones who couldn't and was SO afraid I had messed my eyes up. I went to bed, doped up and depressed. But when I got up the next morning, my vision was PERFECT. And I hear that the procedures have even gotten better since I've had mine done. You are going to absolutely love it. It truly changes your life. PLEASE let me know how the eval goes!

Oh crud. I only DREAM of being glasses free! I'm too much of a wimp to do the lazer surgery. I'm not sure I could handle needles in my eyes to freeze them. I'm blind w/out my glasses also. I've got contacts but rarely put them in because one of my eyes is always bothering me. Someday I'll get it checked out. The antler ring picture is posted along w/the guys' site who made them. I've got a bit of a headache so I'm going to eat my lunch and head for a nap (usually tylenol puts me to sleep so I took some of that). I've got B-1 and Vitamin C on my list for my nighttime sleeping. I think the zcarb bar I had said something about peanut butter in it. tastes like reeses' bar. YUMMY!!! I'll have to try the dark chocolate. I just grabbed a bunch so I'm not sure if I have a chocolate one or not. They're in my coffee tin (doesn't EVERYONE keep their candy bars there?) so that they're out of site. Not much planned for the weekend. Mainly a get-together of some of my female cousins and then it's a St. Patrick's day parade. UGH! I HATE being in parades!! Maybe next year I'll beg off!! lol.

Needles???? Who said anything about needles? THERE WILL BE NO NEEDLES IN MY EYEBALLS!!!

Really, they don't do that stuff (at least not around here). They just give you some valium, put a little 'cup' around your eye to hold it open and tell you to look at the little red light (assuming I can see it!) A little slice, a little smell of singed flesh, and I'm all done!

I've been looking into this a for long time. I've done evals before and know I'm eligible, it's just the money part. The place I'm going to today is at least $1000 less than the other places I've looked, they are very reputable, and they are the first to guarantee that I will have 20/20 or my money back! Wa-hoo!

I am sitting here eating pork ribs and brisket for lunch. Ya gotta love this program! Of course, I left the BBQ sauce off. I am eating yellow onions though. I don't care! I have to have onioins with BBQ. It's in the contract when you live in Texas!

Hey Everyone! Today is a great day! And not just becuase it's Friday. I've been having a lot of trouble with my foreign language requirement at school, so I finally decided to have some testing done and I got the results back today. As it turns out I'm not stupid! I have a mild language based learning disability, which means I DON'T HAVE TO TAKE ANY MORE HEBREW!! I'm positively giddy. Tonight my Hebrew tutor is taking me out to dinner to celebrate and I'm a little bit conflicted about that. She suggested Indian, but I don't know if I could stay away from the nan, which is one of my favorite foods ever and oh-so non-low-carb. Would it be appropriate to request that we go somewhere else, where I can get a burger or a steak? Or alternately, does anyone eat Indian on Atkins and have suggestions? My haricut came out great, though it's going to requre a lot more time with my blow dryer if I don't like the way it looks curly, so we shall see...

Brenda- Love the ring. Wear it in good health.

Lori- Welcome! It' s great that you're joining in.

Catgirl- Sorry work is stressful, but there's really nothing like denial for dealing with things like that. Works like a charm.

Shimma- Glad you're having a good day.

Jane- Slow and steady wins the race, and you are deffinately winning. Also, so very ingeneous in finding your measurements. I'm sure you'll see quite the change.

Leenie- Enjoy your pretty snow while it lasts. Everything in my neck of the woods seems to be turning quickly into sludge.

Teece- Hi!

Theo's Girl- Wow! You have lost a ton of weight! That's like a small child! Or a large bag of plaster!

Karen- I'm so impressed that you can get up that early and work out. I keep meaning to go to the gym in the morning before class, but I've never quite managed it.

Mrs H- Have fun shopping. All the spring clothes are in now so it'll be great!

Alyson- Congrats on the skirt. Even if the sizes aren't standard, the little number is still so very nice.

Star- Sounds like you have a fabulous day planned. I am crazy-go-nuts for bowling. I wish you many strikes!

Tummy- Very sorry about the loss of your scale. I have quite an attachment to my toilet at home (it's amazing, from the 40's, huge, and you could probably flush a pair of tube socks down it) and absolutely refuse to let my parents re-do my bathroom because I couldn't bear to get a new one. But at least you've got a little more accuracy.

Sorry to babble on for so long. I'm just walking on a cloud here. Have a wonderful day.

Abbie

Genghis: We already knew you weren't stupid! I have never tried to learn Hebrew, but it is supposed to be a REALLY hard language to learn. I had friends in high school who went to Hebrew school from the time they were in Kindergarten, and they still had a hard time with it. I know a rabbi who has a hard time with it, and he should know better than anyone. So don't be so hard on yourself!
