************Thanks, Robsia, for starting this ************

Good morning, ladies

Kimberly, Way to go on the loss - that's excellent! I'm so happy for you.

I just got my new scale last night and stepped up to find that I'd lost 8 LBs since the last time I weighed myself I don't know if that's all from the past couple weeks (since the dawn of the new Jen lol), but I'll take it. So that's 8 down, 75-80 to go.

I played with my FitDay like you suggested, Susan, and it seems to make the most sense to stick with seated work, and then add some stuff.

My deficit yesterday was 1083. I've managed to walk every morning so far this week, and at lunch as well. I'm worried that walking isn't enough though Any thoughts, anyone?

Have a great day!

Binglebug--congrats on the 8lbs..I also bougt a new scale but it show 1.5lbs more than my old scale and I just can't make myself go by the new one yet...I really need to though cause its weighs per .2 and my old one only does.5 lbs...walking is good exercise but it also depends on how long you walk and at what pace..

my deficit yesterday was 710 and mon was 869

thanks for the new thread

Have a great day

Dgpebbles, Thanks, it feels good!

I'm not sure what increments the new scale weighs at. Hmmm.

I walk twice a day for 30-35 minutes each time, and I'd say I go between 3 & 3.5 MPH.

binglebug-that seems like a good walk...how long have you been walking? sometimes your body will adapt to your lifestyle and you will need to change things up....also have you tried the walk away the pounds dvd...its easy to do and with the steps that you do it also works out your leg and hip muscles.

Well, it's only been a couple of weeks, and I wasn't even all the consistent last week. I don't mind the walking at all, but I'm so not a morning person. It's difficult to make myself get up that early in the morning. But now, my puppy is getting used to the routine, so she MAKES me get up

I'm trying to restrain myself from using a program, because that seems to overwhelm me (stupid, I know). Just going for a walk is so pressure free. I just make sure I move my stubby, little legs fast enough to get my heart rate up a bit and break a slight sweat.

Ok, guys, talk to me about fiber. I get barely any!

You seem to be eating cereal, fruit and vegetables. If you're not having any trouble, I'm not sure you should worry. I might try to find a higher fibre cereal ... maybe throw some crushed flaxseed on it. But seriously ... I wouldn't worry.
