Well Mondays are my offical weigh in...I've lost 4 pounds this week. Although it's really an accumilation from last week also when AF and her buddy water rentetion were here. I've been keeping my calories between 1300 and 1400 all week (with one "fat day")

I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Hey nursemom31! Welcome!
As for the addictive personality ... I'm there. The good news, I hear, is that we can become addicted to feeling well and good habits too! Like I'm addicted to 3fc and biking.

Hello all,
I c lots of posts from new members, welcome!

I need to get addicted to 3fc again too.
Had holiday company, although they were hardly home. We walked plenty. But I hit sweets big time. Thank goodness for the exercise to balance at least a bit.

Short week, this week, drop a line those who are lurking , and happy September, can you believe it?

Well, so much for having a splendidly fitness and health oriented week. Since my holidays were officially over yesterday! I got called out of bed at 7 am and I already know I have to go tomorrow afternoon.
So I didn't have time to get my lunch stuff together. I did the best I could with cafeteria food but oiy! I'm so under calories and nutrients. I feel like a wrung out rag. I had a bowl of ff cottage cheese when I got home
And addicted? I've got supper part way started, I haven't done any other chores but here I am at 3fc!

Oh my gosh, I made a very poor choice today, of an addictive food - shouldn't have had it in the house, and I won't mention it. So I need to set some rules. Will have a simple dinner of salad and Chicken tonight.

Morning everyone!

Sorry that I have been MIA from this thread for a few days-I have had a lot going on. I am having some personal issues, and things happening around me that I have no control over in my professional life, and I am sort of going through a major transition over the next couple of months. I don't want to get into it right now, but I will soon.

We bought a treadmill last week, so Jason and I will be able to continue our walking/running through the winter months. Over the past couple months I have started getting into jogging, and I have went from being able to jog 1/4 of a mile at a time to a full mile. I usually go 2-4 miles at a time, I powerwalk for the rest of the time. I usually powerwalk to warm up for 1/4 mile, run my mile, and then powerwalk the rest of the distance-whatever I decide to do that day. I am hoping to make it to jogging a full 3 miles eventually.

I am teaching a one time beginning class at a local hospital tonight for Middle Eastern dance. Hopefully some of the people signed up for this class will sign up for our regular class sessions and bring in some new dancers. (For the newbies, I am a Middle Eastern dancer and a costume designer/maker for a living)

I have another costume that I am working on that needs to be done here in a couple of weeks as well. The Elektra costume that I made was worn to DragonCon last weekend, and I am finally getting photos of the costume around the internet on the woman who I made it for. She looks great-now to just get them smaller so I can post them up here.

Today is/was my first weigh in day since I started calorie counting and making healthier food choices. I am DOWN 0.6 lbs.! Not much... but better then nothing.. and slower is better I have learned. I just hope it continues to come off.

I have been exercising everyday!! 7 days a week! I used to only do 6 days a week. But I have not been able to stop yet!! I have been doing a minimum of 3 miles a day to up to over 5 miles a day!! It feels so good!! But it does hurt sometimes lol. Makes for a better nights sleep though too!

Aphil just gave me a good idea! I am going to have to un-berry (sp?) my treadmill! It is out in my sunroom barried lol. There isn't any A/C or heat out there.... but that should be a good making for a sweaty workout!! Lol. I think I should dig that out and put it to use! It will take some time.. but I think I am going to do that!

Well I hope you all have a great day today! I think I will... this is my first weight loss on the scale in over a month! So I would be for the rest of the day I am sure lol.

Hey all, how's the week going? I'm doing good GREAT. I fit into my size ten shorts!! Woo Hoo! And especially, while coaching my sons soccer team, I was able to run with them and really move the whole time! That's really exciting to me. I'm keeping my calories around 1400 this week. I'm so excitied how well the calorie counting is working. (along with walking).

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi Ladies!

It has been a while..........I have had a lot going on with School starting, My DH had knee surgery and other stuff..

WELCOME all you newbie's! This is a great place. Sounds like you are all on the right track and doing great. Good Luck!

I my self have been maintaining 5lb summer vacation gain from July! I seem to gain 4-8lbs each mid summer? Last year I did this and gained 8lbs then in the fall and winter lost 20 lbs! Now I was up 5lbs but have lost 2 of that. I seem to be gearing back up and feeling more energy again. I am glad! I was getting scared. So I need to drop 3 more lbs to get back to my low then after that I will only have 22lbs to meet my goal weight! It is a long road and a life time of change. I will say one thing. I sure felt that 5lbs and just dropping two of it I feel lighter and less blotted! I was getting so lazy too, and I feel that energy coming back. Just a reminder of how when we have a down time or hit speed bumps to hold on until it is over and continue on and you will meet your goals! It is going on 2 years and 3 months since I started at 212 lbs and this July had hit 147!

Amy~ Busy as ever, I have always wanted to get into joking and never do. I went to the track one day and did good and I liked it. I have a DD chest and so I am self conscious jogging and it can also hurt. I need to change up my routine!!! I get boarded about ever 6-8 months it seems???

Miss you Holly! Hope you are doing well.......Riding every day I'm sure!

SusanB~ Nice to see your post again...

Elyse~ You are doing so good and I glad you are sticking with 3fc and you plan. I know how hard it is!

Hi Ideal...

Hope you all have a great week!
