  • Morning Everyone!
    Day 1 has good so far,I walked a mile today with my son in the stroller.He loves going for walks.I just bought a pedometer to help keep me motivated.Maybe we will go again tonight too.

    It's because I was too close to onederland. I always drift down at the beginning of my week, float up a smidge and then drift down again. Three steps forward, two back. I should just weigh weekly but it keeps me motivated to check daily.
  • 177.4 this morning... but I had an m&m cupcake for breakfast... whoops!! The joys of having kids in the house that love to bake goodies!!
  • I was 167 again this morning but forgot to post! And I have still not missed a day of walking the dogs! OK some mornings they are dragging me but I am still out there!

    coolmom- I feel like that about 163#s. I want to be 163. I want to be a 100# loser but I get to 165 and freak out and eat a bunch of crap.
  • I made it through day 1 yesterday and walked 2 miles this morning.

    167 again this morning and TOM. Maybe a pound or two will whoosh off when its over.
  • I've stuck to my plan for two weeks now!

    My weight loss has stalled though and I think it's because, for me, I need to lower the calories and add in some light exercise.

    I like exercise, but I gotta add it in reaaaaalllly slow or I'll get frustrated and quit. I asked MyFitPal what I should eat to lose 1 1/2 lbs per week with a sedentary lifestyle and it says 1,690 so I'm going to lower to 1,800 and start walking.

    I hope that gets the weight coming off just a wee bit more consistently.

    I'm a big gal, and I understand plateauing and stalling but I honestly feel I eat just a bit too many calories for my body. Also, exercise helps a lot in my weight loss.

    We'll see what happens!
  • Made it through 2 days,I have felt really good lately.I have been walking a couple times a day.I am not sure what I am going to do once it gets too cold to take my son out with me.

  • Attended a little gathering with some longtime (high school) friends and realize I've probably not been doing much with them since gaining weight. Another reminder of how far I have to go. I'm camping for the week and won't have internet but will be taking my Lose It app and staying on plan.
  • 167.5 this morning. Not too bad considering the salt over load yesterday.

    Congrats on being on plan everyone!
  • Dammit, I'm 219 this morning. That's up 0.8 lbs. I did drink a lot of beer & eat salty friend chicken on Friday (friend's leaving party). Could that be it?

    That's great news on the walking lisa85. Can you not just wrap your son up really warm?!
  • 129.8 two days in a row. My weight just keeps bouncing up and down. Getting ready to go put in a good weights workout, so I'm sure tomorrow's weigh in will be up a little.

    Northern Rose - I'm sure it's just water weight from the extra sodium, hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow
