On weeks that I haven't lost I will check the measurements and generally I've lost at least a few!! I generally take them every 2 weeks to keep me updated and motivated!
I took your suggestion and checked my measurements against my old log and

Upper Arms: (14in) now 12
Chest: (43in) now 40
Waist: (37in) now 33
Hips: (42in) now 38
Thighs: (24in) now 20

I feel a bit better. Next week my goal is 1.5-2lbs gone. If I can do that I will go out with my hubby (he ended up having to go out of town on a work related emergency anyway) and I will bank calories so I can have a glass of wine with my dinner

Congrats on your NSV! I look forward to seeing a pic, you will post it, right?

That is really awesome work!! That is a loss of 17inches!! I love redoing my inches! I so want to go do them right now, but I'm going to teach myself some patience and wait! Keep up the great work!!

I just did some arm "circuit training". I did 5-1min intervals of arm cardio (punches and stuff like that) then 5-45sec arm strength intervals (bicep curls, and lifts etc.). I did it twice. A quick 20min workout (including warm up and stretches afterward). I feel better since I wanted to exercise but don't want to agitate my knee or ankle anymore than they already are. I'm icing them right now to help them a bit. I will definitely not do hardcore stuff with my legs for a few days.

H82Sweat, you shouldn't feel a bit better...you should feel a lot better! That is an amazing amount of inches to have lost already!! There were months when I wouldn't lose anything, but I'd take my measurements and would see that my body was shrinking. Keep up the good work, girl!

Emme - Congrats on making your goal! That's terrific!

I had a pretty good day today, but it seems like the humidity this summer is making me bloated every other day.

No time for personals tonight (except CONGRATS EMME!), but just wanted to post quick to keep myself on track. Calories have been going fine (hitting my target every day), and workouts have been GREAT - finished c25k week 3 this week, yay! Will post more later hopefully.

Sounds like everyone is doing terrific!!

Some of the TOM bloat is gone, 1lb to go. Had 1468 calories, went over limit eating too much fruit. That's ok, fruit never seems to effect the scale, no matter how much I eat. I got used to eating more calories on vacation, they were healthy calories, but from walking so much i was burning more. Now I'm home & only walking 30-40 min a day, i've got to cut calories back now or I'll gain. It's hard to break the habit of eating more, i did it for 4 days straight.

Have a great weekend!

Well I dragged the scale out of hiding this morning, a day early, because I just couldn't take it anymore LOL

I "wooshed" again, if 3lbs can be considered a "woosh." It is less than the 1.5-2lbs per week I am supposed to be obtaining according to the math (another reason to hate math) but I'll take it over what I have been experiencing!

I'm going to go update my ticker but first.... why does my body do that? Nothing for almost 3 weeks and then whammo!

Edited to add that I am excited about this It's the first time I've been below 160 in 15+ years!

I'm doing very well today. I've been drinking plenty of water and as a result have been running to the bathroom almost hourly, we'll see if it pays off at all tomorrow!

h82sweat- You're are doing awesome! Keep at it!! Sometimes the math is completely logical and reasonable but our bodies just don't want to do it..

lemonzest: Awesome work!! Keep it up!

Chickieschick: good work getting up and going to zumba!!

I've been staying pretty close to 1400 this weekend, minus Friday. That was my high day. I haven't been watching what kind of food I've been eating. Just eating junky. But, I think I needed a break from all the healthy food for some reason. Tomorrow will be back to checking on my nutrients and such. I think I will do some biking. I may lay off the circuit training until my ankle feels better. This week I will focus on biking, arms and starting the 100 pushup program (along with 200 crunches and 150 squat programs).
Should be interesting LOL. More of an accomplishment than anything I think. We'll see, maybe it will add some major toning

nite chickies!! Keep it movin'!

Quick update before I head into work!

TOM came a week early (really ?!?!?! for me) so I skipped the scale and won't be weighing in until Friday. I did take a peek at it this morning and was at 120.4, which is good because I know I can get back down by Friday, not that I'd push it.

I was off plan Friday/Saturday, but back on with a vengeance yesterday and have today planned out well. I'm doing a 15.5 hour shift today, starting in about half an hour. These long days are going crazy, but I'm getting a lot of overtime which is good.

Okay, hopefully I will catch up to personals tomorrow morning! Just wanted to check in! Let's do this ladies!

Good Morning! I have been very absent on the thread since my mom's surgery, but she is getting better everyday. Thanks for all your prayers. I have lost another pound, I don't know how since I over ate two days. I am back on track though. Only 5 pounds to go!

Thin thoughts everyone!
