It's nice to see so many people in the 1200 range. My friends and family were telling me that it was just impossibly low, but insofar (only about a week, granted) I've been feeling fine and my clothes are fitting a little better already.

So, ah, yeah. 320lbs, 1200 daily, p. much no out of the way exercise. The thing that worries me is when I have to drive across the country to move to Virginia. Hotel stays and fast food places, eek!

I've been doing 1550-1600 now. Still 30-60 min workouts Monday through Friday. At 197 now.

I'm 5'5, currently 170.6lbs, 30 years old and work out 4-5 times a week (running, HIIT cardio, strength training). In the past I was eating 1100-1200 calories a day and was STARVING and would binge and never lose any weight. Then I joined Weight Watchers online and have lost almost 10 pounds in the last two months. As i'm still on WW, I have decided to up my caloric intake to 1500 calories for work out days and 1300 for non workout days. I'm gonna see where this gets me.

How do you know how many cals to eat? I'm 25 yrs old and weigh 158.8 lbs. Rite now I wrkout 7 days a wk 1 hr a day. Nxt wk I will go down to wrkin out 6 days a wk. Are there any good sites that are pretty acurate on how many cals to eat a day?

I chked out the site u gave me and it says I should eat bout 1586 cals a day to lose 2 lbs a wk. I will do a even 1500 startin out the rest of this wk after today and see if I lose a pound or 2.

I'm 28, 4'9" and 142lbs. Staying between 1200-1500 seems to work pretty well for me. If I do much weight lifting I can take it up a bit but I just don't have the energy for it right now. I'm trying but it's not at all intense.

Oh I am bad! I'm sitting outside right now and it's fairly hard to read the screen. I read this thread title as "How many calories do you want to eat?" and thought...ALL OF THEM!

I guess if I'm only thinking it and not doing it I'm okay!
