Just a quick check in as we're in and out today...just got back from 4-wheeling and now we're off fishing for 4 days!

Of course I have to do a quick shout out to Lori, congrats, girl!!

I am down 2 lbs since Wednesday, so only 1 more lb to go to reach my (modified) challenge goal!

I will probably be offline again for a few depending on the cell service where we're going, so I hope everyone has a great week!

Hi!!! I’m back in NJ and I’m still looking at my calories. I miss you a lot.
My goal for this challenge was to be at 155 but now I’m at 153.6!!

Hi, I'm new to calorie counting can I join you? I've decided to eat 1500 calories a day to start, I'm five three moderately active, starting weight 155, goal weight 130. I was wondering if you have to count nonstarchy veggies, in most plans they're considered free. Take care.

I only gained 3 ounces from the chocolate I had yesterday, I think more will be coming. I had 2400 cal. today because we went to the buffet again. That's w/ breakfast included, so it's far less than usual. I did good!

WOW! I missed a few days because of my computer issues (mine is still in the shop and I'm still sharing with the family) and other things (will give details later), and I come back and LORI IS AT GOAL!!!!:congrat::cheer2::cheer3::cheer2::cheer3: I am so excited for you.
I weighed on Sunday (205.4), so I had a niceloss last week. I haven't updated my ticker because the info is on my computer:(. Tomorrow is me and my hubby's anniversary, so we will be going out. We haven't decided where we are going, but we did decide that we would go to a restaurant we haven't tried before. There's pretty much no way of knowing the calorie counts unless the restaurant includes the info on the menu (most here do not) since most of the time, I'm not 100% sure of what I am eating (info is in Japanese) just point at a picture to order and hope it tastes good. :~)
Well since it is beginning to look like I am writing a novel, I am going to go. I hope everyone has a great day!

Well, it's damage control for me this week!!! Weighed in this morning after my week long vacation...and I'm up to 177.4!!! UUGH! I knew it was going to be bad, but was hoping for 175! haha I know it's mostly water weight, but I hope it comes off by Sunday!!! My goal for this challenge was to remain at 170.something, so I have atleast 6.6 to lose!!!! Even with my exercising during vacation, it didn't help that I overate AND drank alcohol AND had a hot fudge sundae 2 days!!! LoL I really need to get off the mindset of "Oh well, I'm on vacation! I'm taking a break from my diet!" because this isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change!! I still think you should relax while on vacation, just not EVERY day like I did!! haha My plan is to chug chug chug the water and do some extra cardio!

Amelia---virus from our blogs?? I haven't gotten anything, but haven't been on the blogs lately...what's going on???

G'day ladies.

Kdm- You'll work it off in no time! I hear you about the diet vs. lifestyle change. I've never done the whole lifestyle change so it's been like getting on a bike for the first time. I'm stuck in the diet mindset from all of my previous attempts- but this is for real! We all have to learn how to indulge without going overboard- so far something I haven't been successful with. But hey, we learn from our mistakes and know what we can handle, right?

Mkyice- Congrats on the loss! I'd be so intimidated just pointing to something on the menu- haha, if anything turned out to be some sort of sea food I would be none to happy. You're brave!

Fruitlady- Glad to hear you did well with the challenge of the buffet!

Aluxa- Congrats!!! You did really well for this challenge!

Northern- Woo hoo! I'm sure that pound will pour off in no time.

As for me- I feel really good today! I woke up early to get my exercise in before my staff meeting. I weighed, not expecting much difference, but I'm down to 133.6!!! WOAH! It's still so weird trying to associate the numbers with my body. That's .4 ounces shy of 20 pounds. Unbelievable to me- never thought I could lose this much. And only 1.4 pounds to go for my challenge weight! It seems during TOM I must hold on to that water weight until the very end. I'm going to be good today- I DO plan on making a fresh raspberry pie, so I'll adjust my calories for it. I just picked a bunch of raspberries off of my bushes and many more are coming. It's tradition to make a pie with the first of the season! (If I don't eat them all as I'm picking them! Ha!) I'm planning on making a raspberry steam pudding for the next pick.

Hope everyone is doing well! Let's keep going!

Good morning ladies,

First off I want to apologize for being MIA for a while, no excuse! I've been sick for the past week, started with a swollen throat then turned in to a slight fever and now still sore throat, not as bad but I wake up in alot of pain...i think my house is very dry. My weight has fluxuated a lil since I've been on here, nothing major but enough to be concerned and start getting back on track. So I'm slowly getting back down to my healthy range. I have decided to do Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet to get back down and cleanse so I can get back on a healthy eating spree. I completed Day 1 and on to Day 2! I do love this Phase, If I can stick with it I see great results and gain so much control of my eating.

We are so closed to the end of the challenge, I think I put I wanted to be within my range for the challenge so I have a couple of lbs to do that...and it's not water weight either. Oh.....and I finally bought a swim suit and it's a bikini! So my goal, which will have to be for the next challenge will be to look and feel amazing in it! My sister wanted to know what she can get me for my birthday so I told her she can get me a swim suit...I still have a few weeks to look good for that...it's been 10 years since I've bought a bikini and 5 years since i've worn one.

Everyone seems to be doing very well..

Corinne: so proud of you for 20lbs! that is so great!

Lori: Congrats on meeting your goal, I knew you could do it!

Hey Challenge Buddies!

We're back from our cruise and I won't be making my goal weight unless a miracle occurs! I gained 4 pounds, but I must add that I started TOM on the cruise -ugh - it's just starting to disappear! So I'm hoping to just be back to my 186 by Sunday, the 4th. I'm soooo ready to get over that hump of the mid-80's.

I've got two sick kids now so I've not gotten much sleep the last few nights. The baby is verrry sick - he had 106* yesterday! I took them both to the doctor yesterday morning and they've got some bad virus that's going around. Even the doctor has it! She thinks my daughter was exposed before we left and then the baby got it from her while we were on the cruise. At least my daughter didn't start feeling bad till the last night of the cruise.

LORI!! Hugest congratulations to you lady!!! I'm so proud of you and it inspires me to get back OP!!

I'll have to read back through all the posts I've missed. Do what know what our new challenge will be?

Howdy!

Today is going to be a blah kind of day...i can tell already. The scale is playing mind games with me. sigh. Ive said this before but and I'm saying it again...I'm putting that Damn scale UP and not getting back on it until my WI days (sundays) no more weighing everyday..its driving me mad and moody.

I was up another lb today...WTH???? I had awful cravings last night and went to bed hungry and im pissed right now:mad: I've still got 11 more days until TOM gets here..can't be that. Im SO SICK of trying to figure out why the scale is going up. I would like to take a sledge hammer to it.

Not sure what workout im doing today...bbl to report or just gripe some more;)

Sorry to rant guys...just feel sad today:(

Hi Amie, welcome. :) I count everything that I put in mouth. I'm not sure about everyone else.

Good Morning Ladies, I posted my question on another thread but I will ask if here also. :) I had a bout with constipation and have finally been relieved. Yay me :carrot:
My last four weigh-ins were 185.6, 185.6, 185.0, 185.0, this morning I am at 182.8. Is this real? I only ate 897 calories yesterday because of my tight tummy. So today when I eat my 1300 plus calories is it gonna go back up? Thanks again Ladies, Have a great day!

It's a GREAT DAY!!! I'm not sure what the heck is going on with my body but I've accepted it. I'm loosing less than an inch total a week these last couple of weeks but my clothes are still fitting different. If it's weight that's coming off and the measurements are barely moving, I don't understand how that works but I accept that my body is still getting smaller some kind a way.

Welcome back Susie. I sent the TSPs to Shylah. Hopefully she will get them soon. I can't wait til she has them and seeing them fit her good. I hate when the little one is sick, hopefully they feel better soon and don't give you what they have!! :hug:
MissPriss - Step away from the scale...slowly, slowly...put the hammer down and just breathe!! :rofl:
Jdonato - YAY bikini!! I don't do water like that so swimwear is not high on my list...maybe in the winter when we take our cruise I will have a different mindset...in a smaller body!

KDM: My trip was ok. It was an emotional rollercoaster. I over ate but I think that I lost weight because the food is less processed than here. I ate at least 3 times dulce de leche granizado ice cream, which is a caramel flavored ice cream which little pieces of chocolate, my childhood favorite. I also ate a lot of “no no” food and I lost weight anyway. I noticed that cereal bars are smaller in Argentina although they are from the same brands than here. I’m sorry to hear that you have gained, but I’m sure that you will lose it soon! Now, we are ready to stay on track again!!!

Jiggle: you look amazing in your new picture!!! The trip was ok, like I just wrote to KDM I over ate but because food is different there I lost weight any way. There we also do not use cars a lot so I think that it might have helped because I did not exercise for 2 weeks.

I'm slowly gaining weight from all the calories I have had the past 2 days. Sunday's and Monday's are tough for me cause my husband has off. He is naturally thin and doesn't have to watch anything he eats. He weighs 165 and is 6'1 . This is a bad thing for me, if he would be at work these days, I wouldn't be tempted by anything. I still have no peanut butter or ice cream in the house, it's been 2 mo. now, but I must admit, I really want to go buy some so bad. I'm so hungry for it, it's been a rough life for me the past 2 weeks, I just want peace and quiet and to be able to eat want ever I want. I'll try to talk myself out of it, hope it works!
