Good Day Ladies, Happy Sunday to you :)
Congrats to everyone that's doing the challenge and have lost and to those that haven't lost but are still pressing through :) We're gonna do this Just want to say, yay me. I got on the scale this morning and it said 189.4. I wanted to scream, but it was still early :) I have not seen 18_ anything in almost 14 years. I was a little bummed last evening because I didn't get to walk like I wanted to but I did go to the basement and play around with the total gym thingee my husband just got. I haven't read up on what I am supposed to do on it. I did walk in the mall for about 2 hours so I guess that counted for something. OK I'm done, just wanted to share. Oh and I actually wore a pair of slacks to church that I haven't worn ever. My cousin gave me a bag of really nice slacks about 4 years ago and told me they were incentive. Well I can now fit them but would love to have more room in them. Thanks to all of you with your positive attitudes, it's so inspiring. Thanks for all that you do. Have a wonderful day |
well ladies, I kinda have good news...the scale is only up a little bit...171.0...I was REALLY scared it'd be closer to 175, but was actually excited to see 171 hahaha...yesterday, I drank a little over 3L of water and only ate 916cals...today, I'm aiming to have right at 1200 cals and have already had 2.5L of water...aiming for 4L today :) now if I can just get my butt in gear to GET UP & MOVE!!!
serb--I have a question about Platos Closet...we have one here in Nashville, but I've only been there once...I didn't know you could sell old clothes to them...do they accept any brands? or only name brands? or do they accept only up to a certain size??? miss mae--I TOTALLY AGREE!! when we make the decision to change our lifestyle, I think we have to accept that we're human and will not ALWAYS be able to eat OP...so when we have a bad day (or a bad week like I had) I consider it an accomplishment for us to realize we've been "bad" and to get right back OP! speaking of lifestyle changes, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you chickies who've been here for me since I joined!!! This is the longest I've stuck w/a plan in my entire adult life! maybe why I'm the smallest I've ever been!! I've been consistently CC since Sept 09 (with a few days off plan here & there) and feel I can AND WILL do this for the rest of my life!!! even when I was "bad" last week, I still would remember I was CC and would make better choices than I would have a year ago...like only a 6" sub @ Subway instead of the 12" and Light & Fit yogurt or apple slices as my side instead of chips...the only SUPER BAD DAY I had where I said I didn't care was Friday when I ate all that stupid pizza!! well and all the alcohol i drank! LoL BUT LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I'm only human and realize I can't eat like this every day!!! so I say again, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! |

Love2b150 congratulations on seeing the 180's again! It's sur-real to me because like you I haven't seen them in 15 years! Krista, you'll be back down to your pre-splurge weight soon. You're doing great and you've got to live life. Denise Austin says that you should do an 80/20 plan where you stay OP 80% of the time and know that 20% of the time you'll have treats. That's how I'm trying to live my life. You've got to have a treat every now and then, at least I do. |

I'm new to calorie counting. Just joined the daily plate and my goal is to drop five pounds by July 4th. This is my first challenge and I am excited to see if I can meet my five pound goal or not!

Well, the scale is still dropping, just slower now. That's ok as long as it goes down. I have 3.6 ounces to lose for the challenge, maybe I'll make it this time. I had 1200 cal. today, about 100 cal. over what I usually eat, I've been eating tons of fruit, I love it so much!

Sounds like everyone is doing great! Also thanks for the reminder about plato's closet I have a ton of namebrand jeans I need to get rid of (too big!). This sounds like a good plan :)

Well, i had a pleasant surprise this morning on the scale...178! Its been over a month since i've seen the 170's. I had to update my ticker so i can be back in onederland again;). ok...later gators Oh and congrats to everyone. Gotta go get breakfast started. :hug:to everyone! |
I too had a surpise on the scale...Water weight from conference week is GONE! LoL I drank almost 4L of water yesterday, but went over my goal of 1200cal, and had around 1500...but it's all good! I think I'm gonna try for 1200/day for this week since I'll be off plan alot next week at the beach...we'll see how this works :)
Well, it's back to work today...man, it was nice being off for 7days! I guess I can't complain, bc I'm back til Friday then off for another 8! LoL Hope you all have a great week!!! HAPPY MONDAY!!! |
Well I'm feeling wonderful after a weekend of unhappiness.
It's odd to go from exercising 6 days a week to taking 3 days off in a row. Today I said enough is enough and I tried out Debbie Sieber's Cardio Core Express. It's a short half hour workout with easy moves, but boy was I pouring sweat by the end. Also, I felt funny doing a lot of the moves because they just looked ridiculous, but hey, I'm in the comfort of my own home, haha. Really boosted my energy, though. Yesterday I had a great on plan day- in fact, I didn't even really plan anything. I just ate when I was hungry and didn't think too much about it. I had a lot of salad, haha. And when I plugged everything into myplate at the end of the day I came up pretty much just on target. Everyone sounds like they're doing wonderfully. I'm still to afraid to step up to the scale but plan to on Wednesday, even though Friday's my weigh in day. Keep up the good work everyone! I've got to run to work- I'll check in later! :D Edit: Update- I just purchased Slim Series Express, which is what the workout I did today came from. I'm excited- I was going to continue with doing the Slim Series- but some of those workouts are 78 minutes long! And I don't have the time...so now I've got 30 minute videos. WOOHOO! |

Sorry for not being on here to much lately ~had a frenemy From my younger years I added to my friends list on facebook & we was at it for days or well she was & Finally I couldn't take it anymore & We got into it~needless to say years of Heck got to me & I told her where to go & how to go there!~LOL:o NOT THE USUAL ME BUT FELT GOOD THOUGH I MUST ADMIT:D Anyways The "B" is now deleted from my friends list & I am still getting a few message from her I mark as spam & Ignore her. (I know that sounds childish & it was & has made me miserable for a day or 2) But As usualy My hubby came to my rescue~I would like to share with each and everyone of u My dream becoming a reality On something to do with the exterior of my home. I think It goes well with this challenge Since its based upon stars ~The 4th Of July. Well first of all I started buying the black tin stars & my hubby began placing them here & there on our farm house.It's big so I had several spots I could place them.Anyways I always Visioned or dreamed Of placing white ones on the shutters someday But never could find the right size or materials & did not wanna cut them outta my shutters....I have never seen it done on any outside of any house I have ever seen So I am hoping it looks good & unique.(But I don't go far from home LOL so who knows~I know alot of people in OHIO have the metal stars on there homes Here & there but never saw them on shutters & we did not place metal stars on the shutters~wouldn't have been secure enough.)Anyways we found the right size star & right type & my hubby placed them up For me....I LOVE THEM & I don't do much on the 4th of July really But Maybe a small cookout with me & the hubby & the kids~but it's kinda cool that this got done so close to the 4th of July. Hope y'all like it~Or at least like stars! HUGS* HAVE A SUPER DAY! P.s. Still stuck at 152.8~Trying to lose those last 2 pounds But Stuck at moment but still on plan so they will leave soon. I'm still here ladies. I only dropped one pound last week. Kind of disappointed because I worked out four times at the gym last week and each time I worked out over an hour. Mostly cardio but also strength training as well. I took two rest days. My diet wasn't great but it wasn't awful. Not sure what happened.
I was at about 1200 calories yesterday. Really low for me, but I felt ok. I worked out for an hour. The sweat was pouring off of me. I'm just going to keep at it this week and pray to the whoosh fairy to visit me and help take off some of this weight I have been fighting hard to lose. 16 days to the USA!!! |
I lost another 1/2 lb. That's fine, my calories have not been super low lately. I think I had 1075 today because I was not real hungry. 3lbs to go!
