Welcome DoubleDomer and good luck...have you tried any of the walking videos by Leslie Sansone? Ive got two little's too(4&7) and i find it easy to pop in a workout and burn calories in my living room. She has some great walking workouts:)

Misspriss- I enjoy mowing the lawn for exercise too :lol: It takes me about two hours and kicks my butt....When it's high it can take close to 3. My dh has a riding lawn mower so I sometimes have to call it before he does :lol:

Lori-awww,thanks for your kind words...so sweet and i hear ya on not being able to stay up late. I turn 31 in about two months and i can barely stay up past 9:30. Shoot,i get in my pj's after dinner:p

After dinner? As the year moves on and the weather gets colder, I usually change into my pj's when I walk in the door from work....at 2:30pm!!! haha Now that I go to the gym after work, the pj's won't be making an appearance until after 4pm! haha

And Lori, I'm the same way with bedtime. I am usually in bed asleep by like 9:30 the latest!! I can't even blame it on being 30 because I've been having these hours since I started working at the high school 9 years ago ;)

as far as me...........:(Got bad news today:(

I have been having major problems with breathing ~especially when the cold air starts.I actually have been doing this for several years and it gets worse ever year~anyways~MY doctors office did A test on me to see how bad my asthma was~And they called a few hours ago and said I have emphyzema. I am devistated.
I Honestly think its more than that~Cause back when I frist started having my breathing problems I went to another hospital(A MORE ADVACNES ONE) just to there mergency room And they took chest x-rays and said I had a mass in my left lung In between the size of nickel & a quarter~They told me to follow up with my family doctor~of course I did and he orederd futher
x-rays and said they was fine~but I struggled with that because the person that read the xray told him that my lungs looked clean as could be and that there was not even any signs of me ever being a smoker~I SMOKED FOR 19 YEARS! I just quit about a year & 1/2 ago.
Anyways My left lung hurts all the time when I breath and I feel like its collasped half the time or noth working which is weird. I have expressed this to my doctor for years and he acts unworried.
I Think I need a new doctor.~I got 3 kids and A hubby who need me and this may be something worse than emphyzema...(i read the only thing that can be mistaking on a breathing test to be emphyzema is A tumor in the lung or lungs)Or maybe my anxiety is kicking in~another thing that started when My breathing issues did.
Those who pray please say a prayer for me ~I am sooooo damn scared right now... This feels like one of those days That I would conisder to be the worst of my life or on my top 10 list.:(

Lori- I'm definitely praying for you. There is nothing wrong with getting a new doctor or even just getting a second opinion. You right, your family does need you, but so do we :)!!!

If you think it might be a tumor, I would definitely get a second opinion Lori. That's way too serious to not go by your gut instinct!!! If nothing else, getting the second opinion will help with the anxiety you're feeling! I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

I did well on yesterdays lower calorie day. Ended the day at 1390. DH and I played tennis for about an hour too...it was my first time and there were balls flying everywhere:dizzy:

Today is 1600 and a weight workout. Have a good day:)

Just checking in a little earlier of the day than usual.
Thanks everyone for your support~I Adore all of you.
I am still a bit depressed bUt I decided at 11 a.m. To get up and get my day started~My hubby got the kids ready for school...He knew I was depressed "BIG TIME"
Anyways~I decided life is too short to waste worrying so I got up/weighed/ate/ and started my exercises.
I made a follow up appointment with my doctor to get further test run (since A nurse called and told me this by phone) so he could go over everything with me~and If I do not feel satisfied with those results then I will switch to a new doctor.
I have came to far with my weight loss to let that get goofed up~I have quit smoking~So thats not a worry~And I Am strong willed so that should be helpful.
I ADORE YOU ALL ~AND SO MUCH APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS AND KIND WORDS.
I am Back on my feet after being knocked off them last night~I felt the urge to binge but chose not too.
And I got a new weight today~177.6~LOWEST WEIGHT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY ENTIRE ADULT HOOD! So that emphysema can get inline with everything else that trys to kick my butt~I CAN & WILL GET THROUGH THIS. If Anything else comes out of it~It can get inline also....My strength will help me conquer most anything. I am determined to be here in this world for a long time with my family here at home & my family here on 3fatchicks!

Lori- :hug: So sorry your having a rough time hun :hug: As hard as it is not to good looking online for WHAT IT COULD BE try not to go on that. I made the mistake of doing that a few times and only got myself all worried for nothing. I had a biopsy done a few weeks ago and the doctor office let me go on for 5 days before calling me and telling me everything came back normal. Right before I got the results I was ready to rip someones head off..If I wasn't so happy the results were normal I would have :lol: If you don't trust your doctor find another one. I have trust issues so I try to stick it out before moving on but it sounds like hes been your doctor for a while. They should be sending you to a lung specialist. You will get through this..your a tough cookie :hug: I'm keeping you in my thoughts lady...Keep us updated

Lori-You are SUCH and inspiration! Go right ahead and keep blabbing on...im listening!:) Your in my thoughts and my prayers....WTG on getting your day started.

I had an indulgence meal yesterday...i needed it mentally. So now thats over and done with i can get back on track. Im not feeling the least bit guilty either. Im actually proud of myself for measuring some of the higher calorie things ( i use to have indulgence meals once a week ,but no can do now:dizzy:)

anyways...today is 1600 for calories and my workout is a run interval then a upper body workout(maybe a full body workout...will have to see how my energy is) Ive got to cut some grass too. Very active day planned. Gotta keep my food real heathy.

Good Afternoon!

Thanks Losingit4another is was so nice to not have to 'think' about what i was eating for a change. :)

I think i have a cold(or allergies) My nose is running,im sneezing like a maniac and ive got sinus pain. I went to bed at 9pm last night. I was soooooo tired and my head was killing me.

I made myself go to the park this morning and walk for 45mins. I was actually suprised to see that i burned 340cals..not bad. Thats all im doing today. Besides the regular house chores(blah)

My meals are planned for the day..1490 total.

ETA- EarthyWitch-I just bought some garlic lovers hummus and some WW pita bread. Ive had the bread before so i know its good but i tasted the hummus and i really liked it. I plan on having it for a snack later...thanks agian for the recommendation!:)

misspriss- Tell what do hummus taste like? I've seen and heard about them a lot but I'm to big of a chicken to try it without knowing what I'm getting into...Although I'm pretty sure dh would eat them since he eats just about anything....doesn't gain weight either. Did you mow the lawn yesterday? Maybe that is why your allergies are acting up. I always feel like I'm getting a cold the night after mowing the lawn.

Down one half pound! That makes 6.5 pounds to reach my Halloween goal of 222. :goodscale:spid::sklol: I will weigh in again on Sunday and I hope to see a loss.

I seem to be at a plateau. I think I will switch my calorie intake for the day around. Still keep the same calories for the week, but maybe go two days high, two days low, three days average. We shall see.

Well...i was sick this week so I didn't make it to my workouts at all. The rest was so needed. I didn't eat on calorie plan but I did stay on nutritional plan so that made me happy. I think I must of needed the calories because even with my eating like that I'm pretty sure I'm down 2-3 lbs this week. I haven't counted the lose on my ticker.... I think i'll wait to make sure it really is a lose and not just my body breifly reacting to being sick.

Has anyone ever had that when you get sick, lose weight and then feel better and gain all of it back (and sometimes plus some)?

Mine didn't taste like refried beans but it was good. I cook a ww pita in the oven and made it crispy and dipped it in one serving of the hummus(40cals) so alltogether i was like 190cals...not bad.
When i workout i use a heart rate monitor(nike Imara) to calculate my calories burned.

Well, i had a slip up yesterday:( the past four weeks i think i was too strick or something because i had a binge last night. Ive decided that im not going to cycle my cals anymore and just eat my BMR everyday and allow one splurge meal once a week on sunday(my weigh in day)

I just have to pick myself up and keep going.:)

babybluess- Yep I understand. I didn't eat that much though and I think my body thought I was trying to starve it. I just went back to normal in range calories and gained what I lost when I was sick.

Nest week is going to be hard for me to stay on track. My dh will be home on vacation for a week..... he likes to eat 24/7. I'm going to have to deal with junk food back in the house :eek:

Well~Even though I was detemined in my last post to do well with the emphysema diagnosis~I took a few days off from Everything To mope around~LOL!!!! I really tried to stay motivated but I moped & cried And cried & moped some more!
It's kinda funny when I look back at how silly I was reacting.
I AM GONNA GET THROUGH THIS.

I am back on a good exercise routine. I kinda skipped some of it for last 2 days~But I got it back together.
I kept with eating correctly...I actually was so depressed I had to make sure I ate enough.

But I am back to being me.

I'm just gonna say hello to everyone this post instead of individual things cause I am gonna spend as much time as I can with my kids this evening And its nearly time for them to get home from school.
They knew I was depressed too But wasn't sure why~I actually think they thought I was sick with the flu.
I am gonna take them shopping for a halloween mask for school.
(I never take them trick or treating for safety purposes~Me & my hubby Always buy them candy and make homemade pizza and Watch a nice pay per view movie On the night the other kids in our neighborhood go)
But They like to dress up at there school parties (Well the 2 boys do)
My daughter will proboly by some black eye shadow & black lipstick while there plentiful for her gothic look.LOL
