So, last week I gained a pound. And this week I lost 5. I can't believe it! :)
I know everyone will continue to lose weight. Set backs are just part of the process. |
Just checking in... I lost 3.5 lbs this week, down to 208.5... 8.5 more lbs. to meet my 20 lb. goal for this challenge!

Today im doing a circuit...not sure which one yet. maybe Jillian Micheals. I went online last night and read through a couple of success stories,which helped motivate me to get back on track agian. I also peeked at the scale this morning,thinking i would be atleast 4lbs of water weight heavier and i was suprised to see the same wieght as last week...which is weird? Not complaining though. The past two days i haven't counted cals and i only got one day of cardio in...so im calling it a rest week and moving forward;) EarthyWitch-im sure you scale will be down come sunday morning. Your doing awesome! Very motivating for me Lori-Good For you! Your so inspiring...LOVE your positive post. tweetlebeetle-Congrats on your .5lb loss! jefferzzzz-Awesome weightloss for this week..your goal is just around the corner! The scale showed a two pound loss this morning. Only 4 1/2 pounds to my Halloween goal. Very doable!
It is really nice to see all the Halloween stuff in the stores. I have my place all decorated with witches, skulls and gargoyles. |
EarthyWitch- those pounds will drop :D I've been there many many times. Today would be a good example I wanted to cheat so bad last night but stayed strong and I'm still Up......Just got to take a deeep breath and keep going :lol:

Hello everyone! Well it's been an interesting week here in S.K. All is well though. Teaching is going great. I've finished my rotation of teaching elementary and middle school math. Now I will be teaching Geoje Marine for this next month. (Basically a class about the island we live on and then things to do with animals in the sea.) I also start teaching the advanced adult class on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting tomorrow night. A little nervous but I know it will be ok.
Anyways, bottom line, I stopped by to say WOOHOO! I'm down another 4.5lbs this week. Not sure on my measurements yet but I will know later today. My Halloween goal is looking closer and closer every week. :) |

Hey guys, still going. Just finished with an interval run at the park, did a downloadable program. Feeling good this morning...had about 7hrs of sleep last night(thanks to Valierian root,LOL)

Blah...I am still at 190 and it's going on three weeks now. I'm starting to get frustrated again.
However, I did manage to jog for 20 minutes straight on the treadmill this morning! So that is making me feel a bit better about things since running for 20 minutes straight on the treadmill is one of my Halloween goals. |
Hi All ~ Had a weigh-in this morning (my 4th) and I'm down 1.8lbs this week. :) It's not a lot but I'll take it! :D
I've lost a total of 12lbs in 4 weeks. :broc: I've lost 7.2lbs in this challenge so far, and I'm 1/2 way from when I joined in, and I have 6.8lbs left to lose for my goal! :) Thanks for all the wonderful support everyone! |
Good afternoon everyone. It's a beautiful day here in Jersey. I'm down 5.6 lbs this week to 288.2. Just 3.2 lbs to make my goal and there's still almost 4 weeks til Halloween. Yay!

Chele-a 20minute run is AWESOME...its take alot of mental strength(IMO) to run straight like that. I have trouble doing my intervals(which are at most 5-7mins long) running is tough, i bet you will drop a big amount at one time. Hang in there:) Looks like everyone is doing great! Im doing pretty good, had an uplanned drink last night but it didn't put me over my cals to much...still, from past experience, ive learned that my body, mixed with drinking equals no weightloss. today is a upperbody weightlifting workout then a nice 30min walk on the treadmill. Hello everyone. Just checking in halfway into the week. Everything is going alright here. I've done 2 workouts this week. One WATP video and one Sweatin to the Oldies video. Calories have been on the high end but that's where I'm supposed to be. My sodium intake has been high so I'm afraid of that affecting my weigh in for the week on Sunday.
The place where I am really struggling with is making food for dinner. As most of you know I live in South Korea. There are no ovens here. So all I have to cook is a microwave and a two plate stove top. I'm running out of ideas. When that happens, I tend to eat higher sodium foods. So, if anyone has any advice please let me know. |
Time for my weekly update...I'm still at 199...which is good considering my husband & I were really busy trying to find a new car last week. I didn't get much cardio in, but did do Abs & Upper Body...AND buying a new car is SOOO stressful, so I guess I should be lucky I didn't eat everything in sight! Also, I was traveling this past weekend and didn't keep track of my calories! So I'm very grateful to have maintained my weightloss from the previous week! WOOHOO!!!

I am down two more pounds! :goodscale That leaves me with 2.5 pounds to go to reach my Halloween goal. I plan to smash that and keep right on going, haha.:carrot:
I have been trying new recipes from the recipe section of the website. I have also come up with a few simple salad type recipes of my own. I have been cooking much more as it really gives you control of your calories. |
Since starting this challenge on September 14, I am down 4 pounds. That means I am half-way to my Halloween goal. I do very well if I lose a pound a week so I better pick up the activity if I am going to make it.
I do have a "Sweatin to the Oldies" DVD that I have never opened. Maybe I should give it a try :dance:. |

I finished an interval run this morning totaling 53mins and burned 503 in cals. Thats all i plan on doing today. CONGRATS TO ALL THE LOSERS...WHOOHOOO:carrot: shan84- Have you tried eating Chicken Quesadilla's on the stove top(or hot plate) yet? Take two WW tortillas, some reduced fat cheese and some cooked chicken. Heat pan to medium,spray one torillas with some nonstick butter flavor oil(pam) add half of everything and fold over the top, heat until cheese is melted then flip. Very tasty and filling. I'm still here. I've finally lost some weight..just a little. I think I'm down 1.5 pounds from the start of the challenge. I'm 203.5 pounds and want to get to 199 for this challenge.

WOW~Y'ALL ARE DOING SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD WITH THIS CHALLENGE!
I am Very proud of everyone. I Am just taking a quick break~To type a sec. I have been sweeping leaves off my back patio and Was out with the hubby earlier today ~We ate out (Personal size pizza ~YUM YUM ~within my daily calories) and plus we looked for ideas on remodeling our home. We are now motivated for the fall/Winter remodeling process we always do LOL! Anyways~We was out the door early so I didn't get to weigh in. But as of yesterdays weigh in I have lost 4.8 lbs so far on this challenge I have 5.2 to go~I am working hard to get it off. SO I WILL HAVE TO SEE...........It will be close. Anyways~gotta go ride my exercise bike. HATE IT & LOVE IT! It really helps out. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE. We got 23 days to go. HUGS! |

Your kicking major butt on loss~1.6 this week was awesome!!!!:carrot: I am on an average of about 5 pounds of loss a month for the last 3 to 4 months. So hopefully I get to my goal or near it. I have my one year anniversary next month. On November 11th it will be 1 year of weight loss~Counting calories.....Really doesn't seem like it's been that long. I am hoping to lose a total of 90 lbs by then within a year but will have to see. I am gonna post before & after pics again on that day. Hopefully, if all goes well. will type again soon. Down 1 lb this week. Kinda disappointed with that, especially since I upped my exercise. But, it is a loss nonetheless so I'll take it and move on. Down to 287.2. Only 2.2 to make my goal for this challenge.

bobsgal~Sometimes when you up your exercise it takes a week or so for the results and then you get a big swoosh all of a sudden...SO HANG IN THERE~1 pound is still awesome!

It's a cold, wintry Sunday here. Which is crazy cause it's only October.
The scale did not move this week, but that was following a big loss last week, so I'm ok. I just need to be careful that I don't get into a habit of a good week and then a bad week. Steady focus and perseverance-we'll all get there. I need to loose 3 more pounds to reach my Halloween goal. |

Hello again guys ... I'm back from vacation (last Monday), and sorry to report that I gained most of my lost pounds back between the vacation, and the stressful week that's followed. I mean to get it in gear again ... BUT

I was able to get down to 188.6 this weekend, which I was so excited for!!! However, I am going to relish these numbers because it's TOM coming up in a couple of days, so I know it will be a bit before I see them again ;) LOL
I was able to run for 20 minutes straight on the treadmill again at the end of last week (that's two times now), but I am starting to come down with a cold, so it was a lot more difficult to get through the running parts today. I could hardly get through 10 minutes on my first jogging interval and then I could only do 5 minutes and then 5 more minutes afterwards. But it's still exciting to know that I can do the 20 minutes straight if I want to. I usually get bored at about minute 13 and want to stop, but I keep pushing myself. Off to go change my ticker :) |
I'm only down 1lb...at 198 and want to be at 191 by Halloween...atleast it wasn't a gain...7 more to go and only 19 days...it's gonna be hard, but I'm still gonna try! I've been doing well with counting calories, even on my busy days at work...preparing dinner before I go to work definitely helps!! (I work 4p-1230a) I've done abs & upper body every day this week...but no cardio :( I just can't seem to get motivated to do the treadmill or glider...heck, not even one of the videos I have at home...Anybody have advice for motivation? At the beginning of the summer I was doing the treadmill for 1hr/day, 3-4x/wk and I was even up to jogging for 5min straight! (I'm TOTALLY NOT a runner!!!) Then I stopped for some reason and The last time I was on it (prob. 2-3wks ago) I could barely jog 2 min. So I know I need to start again... but the motivation is not there.......maybe I should start reading the success stories on here again..they seem to always help......

I plan on doing a full body weight workout today. Yesterday was a 55 min run interval. Im still on track with my calories. Had a meal on sunday but i was good for most of the day. You guys are doing great...lets keep going! Be back soon! |
I'm BACK :D And well I have company :( Four extra pounds worth...it was actually 5 but I lost one just from being on track yesterday :yay: It's okay though I think it was good for my body to go over in calories for a while. After getting sick my body was holding on to each calorie I ate.
So it was dh's vacation but I ate like I was on one too :lol: We went out ..we got take out way to much but it doesn't happen every day and I feel good about getting back track and staying there :) And the best part of the whole week....Dh and I went out to my favorite BBQ place. I hardy ever go because I know I can't be good there...It was sooo yummy but all the fatty food made Dh sick. It's not good that he got sick of course but since dragging him along on my new healthier way of eating his body couldn't handle the fatty food we used to eat regularly. He actually said I wish I would have ordered the salad...That he by the way was drooling over (the lady next to us ordered) before our heart attack special arrived on our table :lol: I don't think he will be fighting me to add more fat to our diets anytime soon. |
Down to 286 trying to hurry up and hit that 274 it's not looking good. =( I'm just going to work harder.

Just dropping in to say hello and let everyone know I am still around. I've been on plan this week with diet, but definitely lacking in exercise. Hoping to start tonight. Need extra motivation. Still have 9lbs to lose to make my halloween challenge goal.
