November Calorie Counters
As I'm up early I thought I'd start the November chat thread. I'm looking forward to November and hope it'll be a good weight loss month for everyone.
|
Oct wasnt a great month for me...but not really bad I ended up with a 2lb loss for the month. I am pumped and ready to really drop it in NOV. I so want to get out of the 230s next week. HOpe everyone has a wonderful weekend. OH i did great at our fall festival last night..I ate a 1/2 of a hot dog and 1 mini candybar.I was proud...When i got home we had pizza for dinner but i was to tired to eat more than 1 peice. We had over 350 people come thru the festival. It was a great mission project.
hugs to all.. |
Great job dgramie!
And good for you, hosing an outreach on Halloween to keep kids safe. I've always thought those were great. |
Hi everyone,
dgramie, it is so hard to be satisfied with our success. I always want more. No matter how well I do. I'll be happy with my success for last month, if you will be too! |
Hi Everyone,
Would you all mind if I started chatting with you. It sounds like everyone is doing great to me. I have been counting calories for awhile now. I have only had a 12# loss since starting a few months ago, and part of that is water loss, but what I have lost is staying off. I am going to start going for a little lower calorie range starting today. I also am and going to try to get more exericise in. I look forward to chatting with everyone. I am very determined to get this weight off before I turn 50 so I really have to keep pushing, as my 50th is August 31st. Lets hope for a great month for everyone.:dust: Wilma |
Hey y'all. I'll jump in the Nov. chat thread. My calories have been pretty steady between 1200 and 1400. I'm really thinking I should do more than that since I work out 6 days a week. But I've just been SOOOO busy. I work about 50 hours a week. I go to grad school seminars 15 hours a week. And I've been doing some volunteering too.
Anyway, it seems if I'm at work with co-workers and we're busy, and need to get something to eat quick, it's "ok lets go through the McD's drive through or stop for a slice of pizza." I just say I'm not hungry because I can't eat that stuff. By the time I get home at night, which 3 nights a week is midnight, I have a slice of fat free Kraft cheese between two pieces of low cal whole wheat bread with mustard and a cup of chicken soup before going to bed. A whopping what? 500 calories? (Ok I realize I'm just venting now) But it seems like everyday I get two choices: eat a load of crap because that's what is available, or come home and eat a nibble and go to sleep. GRRRRR.... But in any event, today is Saturday and after the chores are done (which requires me to get my butt off the internet) I will go to the grocery store. I will buy a pile of mixed greens and about 12 different vegetables. I will buy some chicken and lemon and grill it together. I will buy some eggs, hard boil them and remove the yolks. And I will mix it all together and have the meal of a lifetime! WOOT! |
Hi Wilma. :D Welcome to Calorie Counters. You have already made wonderful progress. It will be great to get to know you.
Nods, if fast food is on the agenda, rather than Mickey D's or other burger or taco type spots, how about Subway? You can get a yummy, filling, nutritious sandwich for under or right around 300 calories. And you won't have to sit, tummy growling, while everyone else is chowing down. And you wouldn't have to get home and eat at midnight before you fall into bed. Just a thought. :D Good November 1st morning, everyone. This is my favourite month of the year. I love the weather, the leaves falling, the shortening days, the anticipation of the holidays. I am hoping for a better November than October. I had some not so great days, last month. And, this month contains Thanksgiving. I am not planning to do a big all out turkey dinner, this year. Instead, I think we are going to do family taco night. One meal of yumminess, no huge mess and no leftovers for me to munch on all weekend. :D Have a great on track day, everyone. :D |
I know it's still early, but is anyone as excited about Christmas as I am?? As soon as Halloween's over, I always get really psyched up. I mean, what, four weeks till Thanksgiving, then put up the decorations for a month of Christmas. I love it. :ginger: This is the time of the year I've been waiting for.
Anyway, I figure that I've gotten through a birthday party, vacation, and Halloween so far without cheating on my goal range of calories, so I feel strong enough to handle the next two months that are normally spent on food, food, food. |
Hi everyone. I just finished dinner (lunch) and I'm feeling drowsy and satisfied. Ha, ha. Hello to the new folks joining in on the chat.
Wilma, 12 pounds is really a good weight loss. Don't you ever put the word "only" in front of that again. :nono: :D Nods, are you able to take along a few snacks to munch on at work? A piece of fruit, cut up vegetables, cheese sticks, etc. That would certainly cut down on the hunger at night. BTW, vent all you like if it helps. Kelly, I'm always excited about Christmas. It starts sometime around January and continues until December. We don't do an extra big Christmas but I usually have a house party and sing in the church choir and participate in all the stuff Christmas brings. I'm aiming at losing about 5 pounds this month but only time will tell if I do or not. I lost 5.5 in October so that's just about where I'm supposed to be in my schedule. I've got lots of Halloween candy left over because DH wouldn't give out the Hershey treat bars until there was nothing left to give. They're his favorites and I'd bought a box of 70. I'm so glad chocolate isn't a trigger food for me or I'd have to get rid of them quick. We also have some mini tootsie roll pops but one of those is only about 17 calories. I don't mind having one of those every now and then. I've started wearing my winter coat on some chilly days. I hate wearing the winter things but I'd rather be warm. Funny thing, though, I was shopping on Thursday which was a nice mild day and there were people in sandals and tank tops going around the mall. It wasn't that warm. By the time the sun set it was more than chilly. Time to go read to mom. Have a good one. |
Happy November!
I'd like to join in this thread as well. I've been here (3FC) and counting calories for the past month. Some days better than others but mostly good ones. :D I need to re-read the threads at the top of this forum because I think I might have my calories too high or low - I'm not sure. I was losing just fine the first 10 days or so and completely stalled for the next 10. A review is in order to be sure I'm doing this right. :) All the best to us calorie counters looking to lose/maintain in November. WE CAN DO IT! :carrot: |
Hi guys, mind if I join? :)
I have previously counted calories in the past and had great success. When I stopped, I ballooned back up, mainly because I went out of control with eating late at night, etc. (I am a college student, after all!) So I am back for the long run. I need accountability! Nice to meet you all, and I'll see you tomorrow! :) |
Can I jump in too? I started my weight loss journey on September 22nd, but just started actually counting and recording my calories on October 21st. So far so good, I have only been going for 6 weeks and have lost 15 pounds. The weight loss seems to be slowing a bit but i know I could lose nothing one week and 2 the next so I'm not stressing it. I just wanna get it off no matter how long it takes. I like to ask a lot of questions as well so i hope it doesnt get aggravating. Good luck to everyone and a GREAT November to us.
|
I had soup for supper but I was longing to have a big slice of whole wheat bread and butter with it. I could have had the bread without the butter but it's not the same so I ate just the soup. I always had bread and butter with soup. Some memories are hard to lose...sigh...
|
Well, I went for a long walk yesterdy, and I did 20 minutes of the 10 minute solutions, blast the belly fat DVD. WOW is that an intense workout. I wasn't able to do all the moves, but I tried the best I could, and think I did OK. I bought the DVD thinking that I could at least work in 10 minutes at a time. I am enjoying reading everyones post.
Retiredone I know what you mean about the bread, I also love bread with soup. It is really good that you were able to not give in and eat it. Wilma |
Quote:
Mmm... I hear you. I love big chunks of fresh bread with butter with soup. My thing now, tho is soup and toast. Two slices of toasted whole grain light bread with buttery spray is ninety calories and gives me something to dunk and chew on. :D Hi to our new CC members and welcome! I am having a pretty good day, today. I am light on calories, tho. So a snack is in order to get me over 1200. It is rapidly cooling off, here and what I really, really want is a huge mug of piping hot, rich cocoa. With a couple of big marshmallows or some freshly whipped cream. I think I need to pick up some herb tea for having hot drinks at night. Has anyone tried the flavoured Celestial Seasonings teas? They have candy cane and sugar cookie flavours. |
hi gang,
SOrry if i sounded negative about my weight loss in oct. Its just that I have 17 weeks till my daughters wedding and i really want to be near my 100lb mark. I just didnt do as well as i was hoping to do! I did have alot of stuff going on and eating out more than normal plus eating way to many carbs when the tooth was messed up. Stitches come out this morning so maybe food can go back to normal. I did great eating all weekend. I didnt eat my steak i cooked last night..still hard to chew with stitches in. time to do my pushup and then get ready to go to the dentist and then shopping with my daughter... hugs to all |
Dgramie, You don't sound negative. Not to me, anyway. I understand how you can feel frustrated, sometimes. I look at my numbers and a part of me is jumping for joy and celebrating. And the other is sitting in a corner, brooding over how I could have done better. Should have worked harder, eaten better, drank more water, exercised more... That sort of thing. You are doing so fabulously well. Keep plugging away, you may reach that goal, yet. :D I am glad that your mouth is healing well. Stitches in gums... Not so pleasant, actually.
Hey, CC Chickies. How is everyone, today? It is a bright, sunny, somewhat crisp morning, here in the mountains in Arizona. I hopped (well... more like gingerly stepped ) on my scale, this morning for my weekly weigh in and am down another four pounds. I can handle that. :D Especially after slowing myself down so much the past few weeks. I am now four pounds closer to my run at 300 by the New Year. I know that 51 pounds by January first isn't likely to happen. But I thought that setting such a goal would give me something to really dig in and work toward. I had a good, on track day, yesterday. I am planning to have one, today. :D Have a great day, everyone. May your day be on track and happy. Hugs for everyone who needs or wants one. |
dgramie ~ sounds tiring but fun. I love seeing all the costumes and the kids are always so excited. We live in the country so I don't get any kids. I may have to start helping at a Halloween festival or something because I really like Halloween. You can reach your goal, I know you can.
Beth ~ I have to agree, nothing is ever good enough for me but I no longer let myself talk down to me. Even a pound in the right direction is a pound I am no longer carrying around. Welcome to our group! Wilma ~ Welcome to the group! Good job on the video. Some of the moves on exercise videos take time to get used to but as long as you stick with it you will get them down. Nods ~ You have the right idea. Cook lots of extra when you have time to cook and just toss it in a cooler and have meals on the go. That is what I do. I don't have days like yours that never seem to end but I always have food cooked and portioned so I can just grab and go. Works great for me. If you are skipping all those meals it could actually slow your weight loss because your body needs fuel. Another option is finding a healthy meal replacement drink or bar that you like. Rain I love this time of year also. The taco idea sounds great. We always go to my Mom's and I just stick with the basics. I have the turkey, plan sweet potato and some plan veggies. Used to be I would prepare a special dessert for me and who ever else wants it but I am no longer going to do that because I would eat that and then want the real thing. I am just going to skip the dessert all together. I am going to make this a fuss free Thanksgiving. I have had the teas and the candy cane is good never had the sugar cookie. I like blueberry, taste just like them. YUMMY! Kelly ~ I love the holidays also. Thanksgiving weekend I put up all our decorations and then don't usually take them down until after the first of the year. Retiredone ~ I see that all the time where I work. These college students don't like to give up the flip flops and shorts until its sub zero. I saw one last year walking in a blizzard with shorts and no coat. I don't know if someone challenged him to do it or what. Crazy! I don't mind bundling up this year so I can hid my weight loss. LOL! Next year I can reveal my success to the world. That is a good goal and doable. My DH's friend does the same thing. Everyone gets a sucker and he keeps the chocolate. Must be a guy thing and they say woman crave chocolate. Welcome Gloria, Ingrid and Katie. Look forward to getting to know you all. Well I better get going for now and I will talk to you all later. |
Rain and dgramie we can't always help the circumstances that are going on around us. Our bodies also will fight us on our weight loss journeys as much as they can. I don't actually set weight loss goals by a certain date because of that fact. My body likes being fat. So what I do is just make sure I do what I know needs to be done and give it the optimal chance to lose weight.
Dgramie ~ you really have been through a lot this last month and any loss is better than nothing. Now you can get back to normal. Just take it one day at a time. Rain ~ Great job on the loss. This is going to sound silly but I have found that I lose best when I do very little exercise and strength training. I have noticed a slow up in my weight loss now that I am exercising again. Makes it feel as if I am better off not exercising at all. I went for a wonderful walk this morning with the dog before I came to work and did my lower body sculpting. It was a bit foggy which made it really neat. I scared out 5 deer which scared me more than them. LOL! Between taking the stairs to the 3rd floor three times this morning from the first and the walk, I must have jump started my system because I am starving already and I still have 1 1/2 hrs to go before lunch. I ate my snack about an hour ago. ARG! Well I really have to go now. |
Hey everyone! Mind if I join in? I have been counting calories for about 90 days. Was down close to 20 pounds and gained 10 back. October was TERRIBLE for me. Anyway, I am back now and want to get rid of these 10 I gained back by Dec 1st. Getting married in March so I have got to do this. I feel like a big failure right now and need to get motivated!
|
Dgramie, you didn't sound negative. You sounded all done in with so much going on, especially oral surgery. I'm sure things will look up in November now that your mouth is healed.
Rain Dancer, good luck with your weight goal. You're right that 51 pounds is a lofty goal for January 1 but the way you've been losing it's not inconceivable that you'll make quite a dent in all that fat. GrammyL, that walk sounded so nice. Wish I could go for one myself. And three flights of stairs is a good workout and you're day is not over yet. Hang in there til lunch. Get a drink of water. :D Shannonk, come on in. You're about my height and weight and my goal is to be at goal in March also. You can do this. All you need to do is lose about 1.5 pounds a week and you'll be at goal by March 1. Why don't you join the New Year's weight loss challenge here at Calorie Counters. And of course you're not a big failure. 10 pounds is certainly conquerable. |
Shannon ~ Welcome to the group. We all have times where we fall apart but beating yourself up won't fix things and could actually make it worse. So put the past behind you and move forward. You can do it. You lost it once and you can do it again.
|
Retiredone ~ The walk was nice but not climbing those stairs and not once but three times in an hour. LOL! At least I wasn't so winded when I got to the top that I sounded like I was going to pass out. I could actually talk. LOL! DH noticed that I am working out again and he can see the results. I build muscle quickly which is nice but sometimes it affects the scale which isn't so nice. My pants are fitting much better.
I hate to admit it but I walk in the morning because my neighbor can't. She has already left for the morning because she uses public transportation since I told her I can't afford the time to haul her around in the morning. She is an alright person but she is to morbid for me and very bold, demanding personality on top of that. So, I just choose to do it when she can't. I don't need anyone bringing me down. |
RetireDone- Thank you and everyone else for the kind words of support. How do I sign up for the challenge you speak about? Thanks!
|
Good Morning everyone! Wow,you women sure move fast! I am officially back on track. I didn't like what I saw on the scale. One and half month of bad eatin can sure do wonders! LOL! I am ready to move on and move forward! Besides alot of it is water weight! ;)
Grammy- Today I am refamiliarizing myself with the plan! I cooked my turkey patties last night. My treadmill is due to come around the 10th. I am so excited. I feel this is going to help me tons!!! I want to volunteer at a Halloween thing next year too, we had no kids last year so didn't bother this year to buy candy or decorate. I just made little halloween treats for friends, and my two neighbors. LOL! I agree with you, I too would be on a different walking schedule from my neighbor if she was like that. When I walk or exercise I like to have a clear mind, and focus on what needs to be done. DGramie- You don't sound negative. You will make it to your goal, just keep going and stay on track! Even if you don't accomplish that 100 lb mark, don't beat yourself up, you should be proud of what you've accomplished so far!!! Rain- The weather here is off and on rain showers, with tons of leaves on the ground. Makes driving and walking a bit interesting. I would love to go outdoors for a walk, but will probably have a chance to do it tomorrow. Woohooo on your loss!! Keep it up!! :welcome2: To all the newbies!!!!! Good luck on your goals! Remember we'll be here for you! :D Thanksgiving- hmm......I am going to be a good girl this year! No indulging....if I do, I am going to have one bite and then leave it. Maybe I have to have DH tell me to leave it like he does to our pug. LOL! I am aiming to meet goal by my birthday (Jan 9th) so got some work to do! |
Ahh! Tinky another January birthday. My OGS will be 3 on the 10th, my YGS will be 1 on the 24th and mine is the 25th. Busy month for us and the DH is February 2nd. LOL! Glad to see your enthusiasm coming back. It is hard to restart because you know all that you are giving up in advance but it also means your giving up the weight. I am down 13 lbs since restarting. Two weeks ago I started my sculpting again and this week I am restarting my cardio. My feet are feeling well enough now but I am not pushing my luck.
Well I have to get going for now and I will talk to you all tomorrow. |
Shannonk, here's the link to the New Year's Challenge: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155430

Good Afternoon Everyone (evening) wherever you are at!
Well I left work early, because my body wasn't feeling too good, DH gave me a cold. I told him I know sharing is caring, but I really don't want that. LOL! GrammyL- Great job on the 13 lbs lost, I'll weigh myself on Saturday! How's DH doing? Thanks, I am excited because I want to wear my cute clothes that I bought a couple of months ago. It's a total shame that I can't get into my 8's! But I will soon! Yeah restarting is hard, but I am on a mission. We have a lot of January Birthdays too, my mom on the 1st,my cousin on the 8th mine and my co-worker on the 9th, my co-worker on the 10th, and my aunt on the 31st.Dh wants me to take that day off, so he can spend the day with me shopping, eating, and spa treatment. Sounds good! I have always worked on my Birthday! Retire- I need to get on that thread and make my New Years Goal too! Wow, UPS called me today, and said my treadmill is ready for delivery, I just need to schedule an appt, so I said Friday! Woohooo, I am going to be a running girl this weekend! That was so fast, I know they shipped it out the 30th! |
Good morning all. I see Shannonk and Tinky have joined the New Year's Challenge. Good for you chickies.
Just a quick hello as I'm trying to get in a bit of exercise before DH gets home for dinner (lunch). |
Hello everyone and good morning! I am learning to say "NO" all over again. I woke up this morning, went to vote and had an hour and half to kill before heading to the office. I thought about going out to breakfast and than said no because I brought my breakfast with me. Than I had to stop in Rite Aid and they have all their candy on sale. Again I had to say No. Than! In WaWa I thought about getting a begal with egg and cheese and only eating half. Again, I said no! So, as far as saying No today, its going well! Now I will have to stick to it when people order out in the office and just eat my smartones!

Sooo... I had a good weigh in. Tried to exercise. That still isn't happening. I tried. I really did. And had to stop less than five minutes in. It's okay... I am still losing without it, for now. I just need to let my bod continue to heal. I need to wait until I am no longer feeling pain or twinges when I am still or doing normal activities. It is just frustrating, that's all. Anyway... As I was saying; I had a good weigh in, then breakfast. Then, at lunch time my entire day fell apart. I was mad, feeling sorry for myself and just plain stupid and had a feeding frenzy of epic proportions. yuk. I am all puffy, my mouth tastes funny and my tummy is still icky. Will. I. Ever. Learn. Ack. I am determined to do better, today. Have a great day, everyone. :D |
Ah, Rain, we all do things like that. It'll all clear up in a day or two.
I'm having a hard time typing. I cut a slice off the side of my left thumb and it's all bandaged up and it's quite bulky. It's the space bar thumb and it's awkward typing. I had just finished running when I did it making salad and there was blood everywhere because my pulse was still a bit high. It's not serious but a bloody nuisance. |
OH MY GOSH Retiredone, that had to of really hurt. The last time I cute myself my nail saved me. I had a longer thumb nail and I chopped it right off. I was like "AHHHH!" DH chopped his thumb pad off and then had to show me. I was 6 months PG and I almost passed out and every since the sight of blood makes me sick. Amazing as a Mom/Grandma that I can hold it together long enough to get help before I get dizzy and sick.
Rain it takes a long time to defeat that part of us that wants to bing. I rarely bing now but it has taken 7 years and I still have nights when I want to. It didn't happen over night lets say that. I actually lose better if I don't exercise but I have that part of me that really wants to be in good shape when I am done so I do it anyway. Don't push it and make sure your body is ready to exercise again or you may re-injure yourself. Tinky, that is cook about the treadmill. I part of me wants one and part of me doesn't. I guess I would want one if it was easily portable and quiet. I don't like to both those around me with a noisy machine. Shannon, your doing fantastic. I have the same kinds of problems. When I have cash and spare time I think about eating out. It is fun but at the same time I can never afford the extra calories. Used to be I wouldn't worry about it but now I do. Well I am off and I will talk to you all tomorrow. I leave in an hour to go vote so I better wrap things up here. |
Hey all....man am I sick!! I don't know what I am battling, cold/flu? But it is really kicking my behind. It was advised that I just take care of myself and wait till I get better to really get back on plan and go at it. So yeah...just gonna hang. LOL! Thanks to DH...I got this nasty bug!
Grammy- Yeah I am so stoked about the treadmill....hope I can get on it when it arrives. LOL DH is a heavy sleeper so it won't be an issue....LOL Retire- OMG....I hope it heals quickly! Ouch!!!! Awwww.... Rain- We all do that.....just learn from it and move on....tomorrow is a new day. Shannon- Bringing your own food is great!!! Just think about all the oils, fat in eating out. Your Smart Ones meal is a smart choice. ;) Ok guys, gonna eat something comforting and take a hot shower! Have a great night! |
Retire, OWWWW! You poor thing. I hate it when I cut myself. I did a nasty job on two fingers one Thanksgiving. Only good thing was, I couldn't wash dishes, at all for a couple of weeks. :D
GrammyL, I hear you. I figure it will take time for me to unlearn that nasty behaviour. It has been such an entrenched part of me for so long, I don't think it will let go easily. But I will not give up and I will conquer it, one way or the other. :D Tinky, I am doing just that. :D I had a much better day, today. Right on track and on target. I am drinking plenty of water, to banish the bloat and flush out sodium and so forth. I am not stressing over not being able to exercise. I am still losing, even without it. I think, at this weight, it is going to happen, exercise or no. So, I am just going to take it easy and heal. I have a feeling it is going to take some time. A friend has a daughter who has the same thing as I, got it playing rugby, the crazy girl. Anyway, she got it a couple of months ago and is still laid up and healing. And she is an athlete. |
Good morning everyone! I got on the treadmill for the first time this week but I will make up Mon and Tuesday but getting on Sat and Sun. I really really really want a loss this week. Today is hump day so couple more days to go!
Check back later :) |
Hi Everyone!!
Sounds like everyone is doing great! Retiredone: I feel for you, I cut myself with a rotory cutter, as I make quilts, and let me tell you that was the most expensive quilt I ever made if you figure in the trip to the ER, because it just wouldn't quit bleading, and I still haven't finished that quilt. I think I must be afraid of it or something. I have been getting in all of my water and then some, but I love water. Exercise has been alittle show, but working double shifts at work hasn't helped, but I have been going outside on 2 breaks, and walking vigorously for 10 minutes on each break, and it must be helping. I have also been doing what I have time for of the 10 minute solutions bust the belly fat DVD. I have had what I felt was a couple of NSV's , I was looking in the mirror this morning and I didn't think what I call my hulk hogan upper arms and shoulders looked as big. I hate my upper arms and shoulders, yes it is some muscle, but alot of fat, and I can't wait to loose that fat, so it made me feel great when I thought they looked smaller. The second one happend this morning also, when DH and I were eating breakfast together which doesn't happen often, as our schedules don't always match in the morning, and he kept looking at me, and he say's that my upper chest looks flatter or thinner, and he say's you know, I can see your collor bones more than I could before, and that really cheered me up also. So even if my pounds are slow to come off. I must be doing something right. Thanks for all of the support and encouragment everyone. Wilma |
Slim n up, wow, what a nice compliment from your DH! Wrap it up and hold on to that for when your feeling down.
Rain, glad your back on track. Yes, I lose without exercise and like I said often better than if I do exercise. Today my foot is not feeling right so I am taking the day off from cadio and I already did my sculpting. Tinky, healing thoughts coming your way. I have a faculty member that has been out for two weeks with the flu. Started out intestinal and turned to cold. Rest and take care of yourself, that is more important than losing weight thats for sure. Well I have to get going for now and I will talk to you all later. I had an off night last night. Nothing super bad but for me any little variance from eating healthy causes a gain. Often just temporary but still slows progression. I am back on track today. I have had to have a few pep talks with myself so that I could just put it behind me and let it go and its working. |
My thumb is much better today and the bulky bandaging is down to 1 small bandaid so I can type without too much trouble. I even made bread today but kneaded with my other hand as much as I could. Thanks for all your kind comments.
I've mentioned this in other posts on 3FC so if you already read it I apologize. I'm going to get boxing gloves and a bag to change and add to my workouts. Not sure when but I'd like to start by December. You can get a good cardio workout not to mention building up some muscle and getting a bit of satisfaction from beating the heck out of the bag. :D Hope you're feeling better soon, Tinky. Are you taking a day or two off work? |
On track, today. I was seriously carving protein, today. I mean kill it and eat it raw type craving protein. So, I ate two pieces of chicken for lunch, today. I know, it sounds piggish. But every now ant then, my bod just needs protein. And one piece of chicken, steak or whatever won't do. I tend to want even more protein than normal when I am healing. So, maybe this is a good sign. :D Along with the tuna sandwich I had for dinner, I think I am in protein heaven for a while, now. :smug:
