Hey, all!!! I suppose I made a mistake and posted my menu for tomorrow in a separate thread; you probably put them in here. I won't do it again.
For today, I know I'm over my allotment. Tomorrow morning, which is my official weigh day, will be at least 142 but I will deal with it and hope for a better week. Actually, last week was good but the weekend fell apart with a bottle of wine and a breakfast out.
It's all packed up for work tomorrow, and dinner tomorrow night is decided.
Thank you for the great welcome. You all are doing so well it helps me stay motivated. We were gone to the airport half the day, then unpacked more after we got back. Staying so busy, but I estimated cals at 1385. So far so good. Oh and I weighed this am. I don't weigh too often, makes me discouraged. But I am down 5 lbs. (weighed at nite last time so it probably isn't so much.) But I'm happy to tell ya anyway! Imma change my ticker now. I just am dying to get under 200. I'm at 5893 steps for the day too, will hit 6k for sure. If I can get up to 7k for a week or so that will help me get to 10k in a month or so.
A word about scale measured plateaux .... I'm pretty heavy right now. Sloppy Christmas/winter/vacation fat. However ... I bought a pair of WalMart xsmall scrub pants yesterday. I always considered them to be 130 lb pants. Anything over 130 and I couldn't get them up over my thighs. But they're fine.
My deduction from this is that altho' I was sedentary for a few weeks, I'm still ahead of the game as far as muscle tone is concerned.
Good Monday to you all!!! hope you had a great weekend!
Congrats on your weightloss Selina.
I am happy to say that I am down 5 lbs for the week. I'm very excited because that puts me at 2 lbs away from 199. A big milestone in my book. Gonna make a big run for it this week.
Definitely will be increasing my exercise.
Congrats to everyone on there weight loss. That is great!!
My calories for yesterday were 1110. But I got no excerise in, it was a lazy day in bed. Probably because I was up way to late the night before. I will make up for it today, defiently going to work out. I wish that there was a gym close to my house, oh well. Maybe I can find one by work.
Where do you find all that ambition? You could probably keep up with your parents on their bikes! I see you drink soy milk. I used to drink the light all the time, I love it. I've made homemade yogurt with it before and it's delicious, but sort of got away from it since I couldn't count it as a dairy. Sakuya... I see you had a subway lunch, how come the calories are so high? 886? I don't eat there but according to "Jarrod" and the commercials the fat and calories are low. What do you think about the light soy milk, someone said they were going to add calcium or something to it so it's more like milk. SmartButt... Thanks for clearing up about the 2 gallon water lady, I didn't know she couldn't go to the bathroom. I'm sure a law suit will be coming out over that stupid contest. As far as eating at a persons house, it would depend on who it was for me. If it's my MIL, I'd make an attempt to sample a tad of everything. Someone I don't know that well I'd follow Diva's advice.

I usually serve myself what I want to eat and feel very unashamed to pass on anything that does not suit me. If someone were to serve me I wouldn't hesitate to tell them yes to this or no to that
Fl-Mom... You fill up your Dasani bottle everyday and I fill up my glass Iced Tea bottles, it works! I purchased a six pack of the Ice Tea just to get the bottles, they hold 16 oz. of water and I fill them at night and refrigerate. It doesn't take long to go through 96 oz. of water and I always have one with me. I would loved to have eaten at your house on Pork Chop night, yum! MizDeeva... Oh so young, 15! Good for you for having the courage to take your weight serious and coming to the 3FC's. Like smartbutt said, it's a great site. Selina... Hmmmmmmm, where have I seen that name before, are you in the biggest losers RED team? Susan... Did you tweak the crab salad yet? I'll give you the well earned 3 cheers! I'm only 5 pounds more and I would never fit into that small size, it goes to show what exercise and toning will do for you! Mary... Congrats to you, doesn't getting out of the 170's feel good! Katpo... I've been away from the boards for a couple of days, welcome to you. We decided this thread gets to long so whoever is up first starts a new thread every month. It's fun to see what others and gives us new idea to break up our menus too! Robin... We're rooting for you, 2 more pounds and you can kiss the 200's good bye. Well, maybe you won't kiss it but give it a good kick! Time I checked into the Biggest Losers site. Sunday's Menu: Calories...1,160 Fat... 35% (I had to eat junk food to get my calories up, Ice cream which I don't really like but it added calores and fat)
Brunch: I had breakfast and lunch together since I didn't have time to eat before Church. Vitamins/Salmon oil, Fiber One, Egg, Toast & salsa (279) Supper: Chicken breast, salad with tomatoes, olive oil dressing, spud with FF sour Cream, squash (454) Evening snack: 2 Butterscotch puddings with Ice cream and 1/2 serving almonds (427) Definitely not a good choice but I missed breakfast and it's hard to make up lost meals. ( just noticed no fruit again so I'm eating a apple right now. I don't usually buy apples because we have so much applesauce in the freezer from our apple trees.) See ya tomorrow, Bobbi
Susan, I look forward to the day when I can say I'm "pretty heavy" at 142 lbs!!! hehehe
rockinrobin - 5 lbs!! awesome!!!
I always wonder how many lurkers there are that don't post for whatever reason. Come on, we'd love to hear from you! I find it fascinating to see everyone's approach to counting calories and the ways they make it work for their lifestyles.
Omg Robin! That's great! I can't wait to get to Onederland too. 3 more pounds and I'm down 45 lbs and can change my avatar chick. Congrats to everyone who is moving and eating right. That's definitely the way to go.
I did 12 mins on the tmill today. (Would have kept going but was lucky to do that many consecutive mins with a toddler around, she was tired of the playpen by then and letting me know it.) I plan to do some more. I walked the kids to the bus stop and came back with nearly 1,000 steps to start my morning. That's good. I'm at 2128 now. I did get over 8,100 yesterday. So I'm working my way to 10k a day. Was going to stay at 7k for a while, but I'm ok with what I'm at.
Have a great day everyone!!!
PS My husband and I have an ongoing competition. For 3 months we are going to lose. On the last day of March, we figure % of loss. Whoever wins gets the pot of money. We are putting in $20.00 each every two weeks til then. There should be $240.00 or so in there. I'm determined to win, which is hard to do against a guy sometimes. But I want to spend the money on clothes so maybe I'm a bit more driven for it (he couldn't care less about clothes..LOL.) I suppose he wants it for sports and guy stuff though.
Robin, good for you on the five pounds. It's so nice to see the jolt on the scale, isn't it? My scale isn't a jolting scale. It's a creeping scale. ;-)
Bobbi, my ambition comes from that closet full of capris, halter tops, midriffs, low-rise jeans, mini-dresses, and of course, the basket with the bikinis. :-)
Robin- WONDERFUL LOSS!!!! Like Diva said my scale is creeping too!!! Not soaring like I wish it would!!! 2 more pounds for you!!! YOU ROCK!!! One-derland Here You COME!!!!
Calories today - 1180 26% fat I had a big salad for dinner and needed 3 tablespoons of my balsamic vinagrette dressing!! Did 1 hr on the treadmill - watching Rachael Ray and her 30 minute meals!!! Sure makes time pass quickly!!!
Well off to deal with baths and bedtimes!!! Have a great and healthy Tuesday!!!
