Default Blue Team 2012 Fall Back To Basics Chat Thread Week 13 (11/19-11/25)

Well here we are our last week of the challenge. Can you believe it's been 13 weeks already time flies. I didn't do what I wanted to so far but at least I had some losses and hopefully lose a bit more as well.

We haven't decided yet if we will do a mini challenge or just have a chat thread with a WI thread. Will keep you posted for sure and let me know your thoughts.
Thanks to everyone that has gave their suggestions so far.

Well today was a very off day for eating and exercise but it was a great weekend with friends and a lot of fun so 1 bad day is worth it....let's hope the scale it's to mean to me tomorrow.

Time sure does fly. I did so well at the beginning but lately I've been rejoicing at maintaining. Hopefully I will show a loss this week, Thanksgiving. Yah right.

I've been so very busy at work the last few weeks I really haven't planned my meals as well as I should have. I've eaten at the cafeteria at work. Trying to make wise decisions but obviously not preparing it myself ends up with hidden calories. Just a few more weeks and the craziness will settle down. This happens every year so I can't complain, maintenance is good. Not what I was striving for but still good. (Do I sound like I'm trying to convince myself?)

Well my time to start to lose is here. I hate I only get about 2 weeks a month I lose, one I maintain or slight gain, and one I gain 5-10 lbs! It's ridiculous!!!

CONGRATULATIONS: angie, Leslie, karen.....awesome job ladies.

EofAZ - I think maintaining during holidays and busy, stressful times is very good and much better than any gains. Besides losing is the easier part maintaining the losses is the hardest part (at least for me it is) so your one step ahead by keeping it off

PageLynn - I'm the same 1 loss, flat, a gain and repeat. Next challenge we are finding a way to break our cycle and lose and break out of our 170's rut....we can do it

Angie - enter away:-)

Leslie - enjoy your week and have an amazing week next week.

Well sitting having my coffee then have to head for the bus. We are in a snowfall warning so I take the bus on these days.....hate the snow -12 out too....brrrrr

Hope all of you had or are still having a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We don't have to worry here as already had ours last month so no big meal for me to worry about. Still have to curb the night snacking though

I worked 2hrs overtime today with no break and was very tired but I came home fixed my moms printer, ate and the did the Thanksgiving 5k on the treadmill:-)

Productive day and feel great that I didn't give up on my working out toady....small victory indeed

Well I will be taking my last freebie on our last week. I am outta town and no scale ... but I am sure it would be a gain anyway. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

Bigmid-- not skipping a workout isn't a SMALL victory. Good job!

I would have been better off if I weighed in before Thanksgiving, I was having a really good week up until then. I ate way more then planned but had lots of good choices and still managed to loose a pound. I'm not unhappy with that. I made a crustless, sugarless pumpkin pie that I suspect kept me from gaining a ton back, I didn't feel deprived at all. I thought a final weigh-in after Thanksgiving was just evil but it actually helped me " keep my I on the prize".

Howdy Blue Team !

Hope everyone had a great week. My week was awesome.... got all my workouts in, had some wonderful conversations with people I hadn't seen in quite some time and had a great on plan Thanksgiving.

This challenge has gone by so fast it seems... will be looking forward to the next one.

Well that's it we're done another challenge. It was so great chatting with everyone over the last 13 weeks and seeing how amazing all of you are.

Some of you had fantastic end results and you must be so pleased with yourself right now.....AWESOME JOB LADIES !

I didn't do great at the end. I gained last weekend and havent taken it off yet. Didn't even get to post my lowest weight as it was on a Tue befor my conference and never to be seen again this challenge..lol.

I have gotten in some awesome workouts this week but the scale decided it liked where it was at. Sucks for WI but still happy with my workout results.

I did a 10k today...WOOHOO could only do run/walk intervals as I have a heel spur going on right now and straight running makes it worse....still need to be able to walk at work tomorrow :-)

EofAZ - Thanks. Awesome job on staying strong and healthy at Thanksgiving.

Thinkfit - hope to see you next time around if your able

PageLynn - I think we're finishing around the same weight.....we're so losing this next challenge

Leslie - Awesome job for the challenge thanks for all your help you've been great. Your dedication to losing and working out are fantastic and you will hit your goals in no time at this rate:-). I have the Vegas half mapped on my treadmill and am going to try to do it with you next weekend.....never gone that far before. Should be nice and boring by myself in the basement for 21k....lol. Wish I was doing it live to see the sights and feel the vibe from everyone else.

Well ladies it was a pleasure and I hope to see you all in the next challenge.

BigMid - I am with you on losing this weight next time around! I am changing up and adding in SBD with my WW. Time to kick it up a notch LOL! I also got a new Jillian workout dvd. SInce my start of law school and move got placed on hold to build up credit and financial security, the next 8 months are crunch time! So here's to focusing and sticking together to lose this weight!
