Good morning red team! Congrats to all the losers last week.
Sorry I was no help, I was up a pound for the week. Last week was full of stress for me worrying about a bil in the hospital. How stupid for me to think eatting would make it all better....
I will/have picked myself up and will show a weight loss this week.
I'll check in more often here, I really thinks that helps me keep plan.
Hey ladies. Sooooo, I went WAY off plan yesterday after 5pm. But I actually tracked all of it so that I can't pretend it didn't happen (as I'm so inclined to do). I somehow even still have 8 flex points left this week. Today is a new day, starting over on plan. Talk to you ladies later. Have an excellent, on plan day!
I am on plan today. Just finished a lovely green salad with lots of veggie add ins,ham and cheese and home made oil and vinegar dressing. I had a strawberry-banana-yogurt smoothie for breakfast. I love summer food. I have also been for a long walk and plan to go to the Y for body sculpting tonight.
Shan-Are you an American or are you just visiting? I am going on a trip to see my family in two weeks and hope to take off a few more pounds before I go. Very motivating!
Aclai-It couldn't have been too bad if you still have flex points. Wouldn't that mean you are still on plan? Your ticker shows that you are doing great. All is good.
BlueEyes-Hope your bil is doing better. I find stress makes eating right very difficult also. Hang in there.
misspriss-Have fun at the game. You might want to load up on water today so you are well hydrated in this heat. Good for weight loss too! (I am such a mom!)
Weekend was a bit rockey, but I am back on plan as of yesterday. Trying to study up for an interview and get my workouts in while working full time and having a toddler in the house.... is a lot... still getting everything done, but I am ready for a vacation.
Congrats on all the great losses this week (esp. Tina) and congrats to the Red Team for the win!
Terapet- Yes I'm an American. I've been living and teaching in South Korea for the past year and a half. This will be my first visit home since then. Also, going home over 100lbs lighter.
I am having an AMAZING DAY and just wanted to share with you all who know EXACTLY what I am going through! I Reached the halfway point in my June Workout Challenge, but more importantly I saw 199 this afternoon!!!
It may just be water weight since I have recruited my husband (a strength and conditoning coach for athletes-- I know some of you are thinking IT WOULD BE AWESOME to have a husband as a pro. trainer...but it has its pros and CONS ) to help me get away from the 202-204 range, and had a REALLY hard workout this morning. So hopefully I still see 199 tomorrow morning (then I will know for sure the scale isn't broke )
I hope everyone is doing well and are all on plan!
doc2b - Congrats on seeing one-derland!!! That is very exciting! ...and I totally "get it" on the hubby thing. DH has always been a football player / wrestler / track guy and I am frequently receiving his input on what he thinks I should and shouldn't be doing. I don't always appreciate his advice, but I also think he doesn't always appreciate how much time I spend reading and researching / trying things myself.
Shan - that is amazing! You must be so excited and nervous at the same time!! You're going to have a great time!
Aclai - Don't beat yourself up. You're still OP AND you still have flex points left. The main thing is you stayed true to program and documented it all. Besides, I think those occassional high point days are actually good for your body - some call it calorie cycling or zigzagging. I tend to lose weight on the weeks I have spikes in my points vs the ones where I stayed pretty static all week.
doc2b - That's an amazing milestone! Enjoy the new numbers.
Congrats on winning this week Tina!
Thinkgs are better now, I got through my last two weeks which were just filled with stress time bombs. I'm getting back to the bym tonight, and then we leave for a week's vacation on Sunday!
Shan-Sweet. A cool one hundred! That is so exciting. First of all they haven't seen you in a looong time and then you lost a whole bunch of weight. Your family is going to go nuts!
Congrats Tina and the entire Red Team! I'm trying to get it together here. Been a rough couple of weeks. But I'm back in the gym swimming almost everyday. My Mom just joined so that will make it more fun for me. I really need to get my booty in gear. I'm the maid of honor in a September wedding and need to lose in order to fit into my J. Crew dress.
So excited, but extremely nervous and having really bad anxiety as it gets closer.
I'm showing a small loss already this week. That makes me happy. Working hard to maintain it and keep the weight dropping. I'm going to town to study again tonight, then having dinner with the bf, and then hitting the gym. My days have been pretty consistent for the past two weeks or so. Lots of studying, then small dinner, then 1-2 hour gym time. Home to shower and sleep by 10pm everyday.
Makes me crave the long sleep on the weekends though. haha!
So Applebee's has this "Skinny Bee" Margarita that's supposed to be like 100 calories or something. I ordered it thinking the mix would just be weak and it would taste like rum. But it was so much worse; it was sooooo salty. Just an FYI, don't be lured into this horrible margarita trap!
