Good Morning everyone!! Got alot on the agenda today! See thats the thing with working all week long, we gotta try and squeeze everything in on the weekend, then we are tired from the go go go and then the week starts all over again! No fun!

We went to The Dark Night last night. OMG it was so good! Actually Heath Ledger made the movie. He was simply brilliant! It wasnt as scary as I'd heard it was supposed to be and the joker even made us laugh in several parts.

I'm out of coffee still!! I'm trying to decide if I should stay out and switch to green tea. The problem is that I love my morning latte and really...if I'm doing sugarfree and fat free why should I have to give up something I love?

Okay time to wake the monsters and get the day started! Have a lovely day everyone!

Quick fly-by...made it back from western Africa. Managed to lose a pound

Gonna work this week on getting back into a routine. Mosquitoes were bad where I was so I have to start malaria meds -- all these meds slow my weight loss down. I'll be glad when they are done...

What is your earliest childhood memory that has really stuck with you? Do you feel like its had any impact on your weight issues today?
My earliest memory is when I was three or four. We lived in Iowa and it was winter. My older made a snow fort and I thought it was so cool!

I didn't have any childhood issues with weight. I feel for those who do. I had a very happy childhood. My weight issues have to do with the stress of the last few years.

Hey red team! Sorry I've been MIA. It's really been hard not coming in here for the support, you guys are a great support network and I realize that especially when I don't get to come in and chat with everyone. The last week and a half have been hectic. My foot is STILL swollen and hurts quite a bit so exercise has been lax to say the least. My mom came down over a week ago and is leaving today (I haven't been on our home computer while she has been here which explains the lack of coming in here) so hopefully I can catch up later. And of course since mom is here, we have been not eating the greatest AND TOM came to visit the other day. GRRRRRR I have worked out a few times, but not sure how this weeks numbers are going to be

I'll read later and do personals. I did see that Diva lost 20 pounds!!! Congrats chica!! You are doing a wonderful job!!!

Good Sunday Morning Red team! I'm so sore today! Who knew huckleberry picking was such a workout! My hips and the backs of my legs are stiff today! But the loot was well worth it.

I've gotta make a hula hoop today for someone at work, a convert!! I love it!!

Have a wonderful day! I think we are off to the lake...or just a lazy day! Either way sounds good to me!

Thanks Andi. I sure miss seeing you around more. Hopefully after a little break we can ALL get better motivated for the next challenge. I'm sorry your foot is still giving you problems. How are you working out? Are ya doing a lot of upper body things? If so you're gonna end up with some awesome Jillian arms, hehe!!!

Today is laundry & clean up the house day. I've already went and got groceries for the week and have everything planned. Hopefully I am set for another loss.

Guess what Jess saw last night at about 10 pm? He was sitting on the front porch smoking a cig when he saw a HUGE Black bear about to walk up onto the A-hole next doors front porch! It freaked him out so he grabbed the cat (Buttah-head) and ran inside. Our old lady neighbor up the road, Rosetta has been saying for 6 yrs that there are bears up on the mountian (woods) but no one around here rally believed her, lol, until now! I mean, where we live "looks" like we are in the country, but this is classified as the city limits. I mean just right around the corner is the actual city! That's just crazy! So now we've seen deers, a bear, and a cougar. Lions, tigers and bears OH MY!!!

Oh bears!!! We've had them come right down into the middle of town. If they are hungry enough they'll come a lookin for food! Better get some locks on those garbage cans or you'll have em around all the time!

Earliest Childhood Memory
This is hard to say, it is hard to put some of those memories in order, but I'll go with playing on the slab that would become my grandparents house. I was about 2 1/5 at the time. I can't see how that could have effected my weight!

I've been struggling a bit with cravings. It seems that I want everything I'm not suppose to be eating. I think that after this challenge ends I'm going to rearrange my diet. Instead of counting carbs and calories, I think I'll quit worrying about the carbs and focus more on lower fat and extra vegetables.

Since I officially hit the 30lbs down (actually 31 ) mark yesterday and it stayed the same today I had to suck it up and do some mini-goal pics. I wish it were more noticable but I can see some changes.

Jay - Glad you made it back, fingers crossed the meds don't affect you too much!

Andi - So sorry about the foot!

Diva - That would have scared the crap out of me but how cool is it to live near wildlife!!??

Monte - Cravings are the death of me also. I wish there was just a switch to turn them off.

Hey everyone. I apologize for not being around, my parents computer is moving really slow. I finally got here to post weight and wanted to post a note. We're taking in the computer tomorrow to have it looked at and cleaned up. I lost 3lbs this week. I should do vacation more often. lol. It's all the swimming I'm sure. And walking in the heat. I can't believe how hot it is and is getting!! We've got one more week and then we head back to Michigan, but still have so much we want to do here.
I hope everyone is doing good. I miss reading everyone's posts and the questions. I'll check back asap!!

Another "haven't been around" member checking in

Left last Thursday to go pick up the boys after they spent a week with my sister, came back last night and had my oldest son's birthday party today -- finally got everyone to bed and I'm right behind them.

Hope everyone is doing well -- I'll try to catch up tomorrow
