SoulBliss...do you log your daily menus? I'm fascinated by the success you've been having, I'd love to see what you eat a day and the exercise you are doing. Could you share a little about your plan? Way to go on another HUGE loss...I'd keel over to see 8 lbs one week and 7 the next! LOL!

Hi Team!

Congrats Black Team on another win!!!!!

This stall has really ticked me off, so I am trying to not obsess about it.

hsmomx2 - so glad you are all okay! That is terrible news.

Diva - congrats on onederland!

Soulbliss - way to go!

sally - it must've been all the walking - you must feel so good!

Tatiana - I think you will be okay - just plan the entire week out- both activities and meals. I have a dry erase board on the fridge where I write down all the meals that we could have for the week after I go shopping. This way it is right there in front of me. Everyone votes on which one they want that night, and then I wipe it off. I also write down any activities we have scheduled.
I think if you see your weeks meals (and maybe breakfasts and lunches) and activities written down, you will be able to spot any potential "lounging" periods, and think of something to do instead.

Hi Julz, Manda, ggmugsy, michie, reda and the rest of the black team!!!!!

Thanks! Keep in mind I WAS very sick last week and that has a lot to do with the huge drop, I am sure, but the scale keeps going down and I'll take it!

I do think that the "healthy stuff" I eat makes a difference. I eat a really whole foods diet, I count calories, I eat low carb. I work out a lot. I have been doing yoga 3 times a week, Pilates 1-2 times a week, weight training 3 days a week and cardio (treadmill) at least 4 days a week, consistently throughout (except when I was sick). I am adding an additional day of weight training next week, bringing it to 4 days a week.

I track my calories and eat between 1,600 and 2,300 a day, usually right in the middle with a day of very low and a day of very high weekly on average.

Here's a typical day of food:

Hemp protein powder (2 scoops), 4 frozen strawberries, 2 T. cocoa powder, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 T. ground flax, 2 T. coconut milk all blended

2 cups steamed broccoli with 2 T. sunflower seeds and 1 T. Thai hot sauce

4 oz. seitan, 1/4 cup red onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 a lemon, juiced, 1 T. extra virgin coconut oil, salt, pepper, 1 T. toasted pine nuts, 1 cup raw arugula (cooks down to nothing!), 2 leaves kale, 1 cup cauliflower and 1/2 a sliced tomato cooked all together with spices and herbs

2 cups romaine, 2 cups mixed baby greens, 1/3 an avocado, 1/3 a cucumber, 1/4 cup pecan halves, 1/2 cup black soybeans, 1/2 cup fresh hot salsa and 1 T. olive oil

1/2 oz. 87% dark chocolate (or homemade with erythritol/stevia), 1/2 oz. almonds and 1 cup unsweetened almond or soy milk

2 cups Slim Life Green Tea (by Yogi Tea)

8 cups or more of distilled/purified/reverse osmosis water

Well, I'm shrinking fat cells and if I could remove them completely I sure would! Keep in mind that I have a LOT to lose, so it does come off faster than those who don't have as much as 100 pounds to lose (when I am doing all the right things) and I am highly motivated (which means I stick to my plan 100%). I work out every day. I only eat the things I should. I do NOT falter, I am too driven to succeed. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy what I eat or that I am deprived, I just portion it all out, count the calories and carbs and stay within my limits. Sally went out to lunch with me, she saw how I ate! She ate healthily too and we even both worked in a coffee treat.

My family does eat what I eat, plus more carbohydrates and "treats". My DH eats lots of potatoes and beans and vegan ice cream and so on (he needs to eat about 3 times the calories I do to maintain his weight, lucky duck!) and my DD eats much the same as I do with some extras (again, more starches and treats).

I really wish I could have been on The Biggest Loser because I think I would have been the woman who could win the whole thing, being as over fat as I was when I started and with how devoted I am even here without all the amenities they have at the ranch.

Soul, what is your high low numbers for your Calories & Carbs? My low is about 1150 & my High is 1750 (when I exercise). I used to watch my carbs but not so much anymore. I used to try and keep them below 150.

heck ya we did... seriously i am addicted to the skinny lattes now... sooo good

ok ladies i am offically down to 194.4.... which means i lost .6lbs yesterday and i didn't even work out... and i ate way more calories than i like to (i try to stick to about 1450 or so, but yesterday i had like 1900) and i lost the weight last week too even though my calories were up... i think i'm going to up my calories to 1600 and see what that does for me... hopefully i can drop more than a lb a week with that
