Hi Tara
Since you're posting this under the Atkins forum, I am going to assume you are interested in doing Atkins. If you've read anything I've written here, you aren't going to be surprised at what I'm going to say, READ THE BOOK before you begin the plan That is the most important thing to assure you understand exactly how & why this plan works and how to do it correctly.
As for what I eat for meals & snacks, the crutial thing is to stick with unprocessed foods...meats, poultry, fish, veggies, salads, eggs, cheese. Snacks are usually a cheese stick or hard boiled eggs with a little mayo, tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad, cut up raw broccoli or cauliflower dipped in ranch dressing.
You CAN do this!!!!
All the best to you!

Hi Kim

I have been reading some of your threads and you are an inspiration.
I was wondering how long were you on OWL before you reached your goal and maintained your amazing weight loss?

Cool So New to this!!!

I'm new to this site, and new to trying to change my lifestyle... I started this low carb thing about 2 weeks ago and began to loose around 6lbs. I messed up to celebrate my birthday and now I'm on my second day of the first three days. Everyone tells me I need to buy some ketosticks but I cant find them anywhere!!! .. and how do I know I've reach ketosis
