I have two boys at school now who have crushes on me, ages 13/14.
Now yesterday my nine year old told me his fifth grade friend thinks I'm hot. My son thinks it's cool, and I'm glad he's proud of me, but I hate this! I'm really uncomfortable with it. He wanted to tell everyone on the phone last night so I had to tell him it was inappropriate and I didn't want to hear about it anymore. And I play basketball with all these neighborhood boys, because I have two boys myself. Now I'm thinking maybe I ought to cut that out.
They are out there somewhere- I'm sure you'll find them!
I agree it's inappropriate for your son to call everyone and tell them lol. I agree I might not play as much but it's up to you and your comfort level.
So you're like, milf status now? That's cool! And if teenage boys find you hot, adults do too. Men tend to have a little more of a filter though than 13 year olds haha.

Teenagers tend to be even more judgmental about females as far as 'fat' goes than older men are, so if the teens are saying you're hot then you can bet that there are men who think you are hot too. They just aren't as vocal.
Be glad your son still finds it an ego boost to hear that his mom is hot! My MIL was barely 18 when she gave birth to my husband, and so he went through his teen years as the guy with the hot young mom. It grossed him out to no end when his friends would make comments about her.
But I agree with the others who responded - if the 10-14 yo's think you're hot, then adults definitely think so as well.
LOL Ok I have to say I think thats so darn cute! I would love to hear an adolescent boy thinks I'm hot cause they are the cruelest judges of them all!! If they think you are hot then sister you are a hottie!!!
Well, I tell you what...I feel better and better about this with every response. LOL! But it is not fun when you have gaga eyes bugging out of heads like the ones I had this morning.
But...I think I may be turning a more age appropriate head my direction now. Maybe...
I'm not complaining but this reminds me of the compliment thread.
Us men have become somewhat neutered by our PC society. I will rarely voice any compliment to a women who is not my friend lest I be labeled as a "creeper".
What we need are badges. Women who enjoy compliments wear a green badge and women who don't want them wear a red badge.
Regardless - fear not. If the 13 year old boys think you're hot the men do as well. Most 13 year old boys have a higher standard for hot than men so you're no doubt soon to recieve what you desire and after a while it will get old and you're going to put on your red badge.

i'm okay with compliments as long as it doesn't revolve around my looks, be it my face, my breasts, my ***, or even my legs. maybe this is hypocritical of me since i am on a weight-loss forum and i obviously care about my looks to an extent; however, i don't appreciate it when people compliment me for losing weight as if i was less of a person not when if i hadn't lost any weight.

over the years, i've come to notice that "pc" is just a term used by people who are frustrated that they lose the privilege to openly reveal their own prejudices toward a certain group of people. some prejudices are more harmless than others, and in the bigger scheme of things sexism probably isn't as bad as racism. it is, however, still irritating to the people who are on the receiving end of it.
