Today: jogging 30 minutes

I'm tossing my hat in here as well. Yesterday and day before that - 2 hours, jumping up and down, teaching a dance routine to 16 girls plus 3 laps around the football field.

Smile Thanks ELLIS

Thanks ELLIS for the lovely compliment. It came at a good time -- I needed a little cheer.

BTW -- Still GAZELLING!

Thanks, Pookie

Friday: weight lifting upper body. Warm-up on elliptical trainer + weightlifting + ab crunches and stretching: 50 minutes.

For the weekend – I don’t know. I want to get a hike in there somewhere, but it’s depending on the weather. Definitely some yoga and stretching: I’m stiff and sore after lifting weights.

Good going, girls!!

Just got back from the Y. Weights and cardio... about 80 minutes total. Plus an altercation with some guy... I made them call the cops and kick him out. Sent my adrenaline right through the roof, which I figure is good for an extra 50 calories.

Mauvaisroux, you’re really doing great with your exercising! Very inspiring!

ellis – you too! You can’t go wrong with 50 extra calories! What did the poor guy do?

I did yoga yesterday – about 30 minutes. Today I started the day off with hiking (before it got too hot) for about 1hour and 45minutes.

Wow! I envy you your hiking, Mette! I've got a heel spur, and the pain limits me to what I can do cardio-wise. If I could lose 60 pounds, my heel wouldn't HURT so much!
The guy at the gym was high on something. He was threatening some other guys in the large weight room, making racist comments, etc. He was extremely aggressive, and I was concerned for the safety of the other members. Particularly as there are kids around on Saturdays.
A staff member intervened, but he wasn't stern enough for my liking. I told the staff member that I was going down to lodge a complaint at the main desk, and he finally agreed to come with me and call the police.
A bunch of us signed complaint forms, and the cops got rid of him. Permanently, I hope! According to the police, this was the second time in one day that this guy had been charged for tresspassing/creating a disturbance!

30 minutes of walking yesterday.

A balance ball routine today--40 minutes. Kind of light strength training 'lite'. It's my newest fav.

Does major housecleaning count? I mean DEEP cleaning and organizing? I get pretty sweaty doing it. Son #2 is leaving home for college in 10 days and I am NEVER in a mood to clean and etc. BUT, I have been overcome with the bug to get this place back to some semblance of normalcy. I am not a neat-nik, but it has always been CLEAN, just not to my standards. How can you have 2 boys and all their friends and be the snow-day-cookie-and -cocoa mom without a little mess and marked walls, I ask ya? Now, I feel like diggin into closets, and wiping down walls, and polishing things. Weird.

30 minutes on my Gazelle.

Yes Cheryl I'd say heavy housecleaning certainly counts--want to come over and do my place?

Everyone is doing so well! --Pookie
