Thank you all for all the wonderful words! I just got back from my munchkin date.
Irish - He is a year & a half.
Heather - Thanks, but I think I will keep him.

Welcome Catgirl! and Noodles, we are all nuts!

Shel - Lots of good vibes coming your way! And venting is what we are here for.

Ellis - How was the trainer?

Navi - have a good cry and ONLY one cookie.

Mauvais - How was the bellydancing thing?

I had a blast last night. Saw a local band, met some new people.

Lowkey today and hopefully tomorrow.

Squeaker I know he must be a lot of fun. My new grandson (they can shot me if they don't like it, but I'll be darn if I say step) is two months and a week. Poor thing only has a little fuzz on his head. Your cutie has all of that curly hair. I never knew how much I could love little ones. They change so much from week to week. It is great to see the discoveries that he makes each day. My sister told me that it would be theraputic to keep a baby and she was right. I feel a difinite softening and connection that I never felt before. It really is unconditional love to love a child. I love it. I know you must love it too. I can hear the joy in your posts..keep those pictures coming.

Ellis, I'm jealous! How'd it go with the trainer?

Fluid Fiction, I'm sorry about the health problems. When will you have surgery? I will most likely be having surgery on my ovaries this summer.

Jennifer - Girl! I miss you. What? Do you have a life outside this forum???

Fluid_Fiction - Good luck in surgery. The most important thing is not the future but the present and presently, we're gonna worry about you, not any hypothetical kids. >>>HUG<<< And at least give us the low-down on your drugs. The one time I had "girly" surgery they gave me morophin... ok, I blame no one that gets addicted to this stuff. I still remember how good it was and it was like ten years ago!

Ellis - I wannnaa trainer! Of course, my aerobics instructor is a trainer and she tells us about clients who TAPE their check to the door with a note not to knock because they've decided to sleep in. That would be me!!!

Navi - Gosh I have I ever had days like that! When the littlest thing seems to set you off!

So, girls I have a weird idea in my head to do a Half Ironman. I think I've gone CRAZY.

Ahhh...Morophine...the wonder drug!!

When I had my hysterectomy they gave me the pump. Ahhh...what a lovely pump it was. Every 5 minutes for 24 hours...ZAP!! I was crushed when they hauled it off after the 24 hours was up and put me on just stupid ol' PILLS!! Only time Morophine didn't work for me was when I had a big ol' kidney stone. Nothing worked then...I had to "wait it out." Ouch!!!

Hey, girls! My trainer was GREAT, thank you! I'm starting off seeing him three times this coming week, and he wants me to go the gym six times a week! Woof! I just may get into shape... look out!
The only thing that ticked me was that I saw my sweet sister at the gym after my session. She was there working out with friend. My sister used to be fat, but now she's fit and fabulous looking. She's VERY supportive of my weight loss, but I swear she forgets what it's like to be fat. She told me she was happy for me re: my trainer, and then said, "I'm so jealous. I wish I had a trainer, too!" Uh, HELLO!! I'm sure you do, but DON'T say that to your fat sis. If you're that jealous, then let's trade bodies and YOU can have the freakin' trainer!

I miss you too, Jessica! I've had horrible projects in my face for a couple of months now. Stuff at work, immigration paperwork (husband is Dutch), taxes, and recently the heater was broken for 3 weeks so I spent most of that time in the living room with all the ceramic heaters. Now I'm easing back into my old life. Ahhhh.

Ellis, I have a funny trainer joke I will find and post in Scotch and Humor. It's an oldie but a goodie!

My butt cheeks feel like they have bone spurs. I rode an exericise bike yesterday and it must have rubbed right on the bone. I hadn't used it in years, and now I remember why I didn't like it!

Welcome Catgirl

The belly dancing costuming seminar was great! I came away with a lot of useful information, some great costuming and make up ideas, has a delicious breakfast, met some new people and had a fun time!

Morning everyone.

Today so far is good. Last night I went to bed at a decent time (well, kind of, but it was BEFORE the sun came up!) and this morning I woke up at a decent time to a loaf of fresh baked cinnamon bread! Gotta love the bread machine with delay timer.

So I made banana french toast (no cholesterol! low fat!) with my whole wheat cinnamon bread, and had lite syrup on it, so yay! Not eating too bad so far.

And now I've got a rattie on my lap who is making cute little rattie sneezes, which he only does when I take him out of his cage. But he lives alone for the time being so he needs plenty of love.

And now it's time to get dressed and do productive things, like clean my apartment and exercise.

Aww Navi what a cute blazed boy you got there!!! Absolutely adorable!!! How old is he?? Do you have him housed in the aquarium or a cage?? My ratties use to sneeze every time I took them out of their cage..turned out they were allergic to my detergent I used to wash my clothes with. I switched and now no more sneezes.. All of mine just got a bath last night and major cage cleaning. Now they all smell like J&J butts. hehehe

Sorry girls...I loveeeeeeee rats!! Probbly bored ya to tears but you know how it is when someone mentions something you absolutely love...you can go on..and on..and on...

Have a good day all!! I gotta go clean before company gets here. Cleaned 8 hours last night but missed a few spots.

Okay, I am a SUCKER for a man with an accent! Sigh! I bet he's delightful to listen to. Admit it, that's why you married him!

thanks for all the good thoughts and support, first of all. i took a few days to just NOT think about it all, and i'm feeling a little more "stable" about it now... thanks for letting me vent, though.

mmm.... morphine.... they had me on morphine in January when i had my tonsills out for the first day... all i remember is that i felt ~really~ good....

no scheduled surgical date yet... i went to my regular Doc today, because OB won't schedule without written clearance from her. she did an ECG quick, because i have a heart murmer, and she just wanted "to be sure" there wasn't a problem (one of the many reasons i love this woman... it's a clinic, for god's sake, but she never hesitates to make sure i've got the best care i can possibly need) BUT the ECG wasn't okay... and now i have to wait and have a stress EKG and another ECG before she'll clear me to get the surgery scheduled.... i swear, after 30, you really DO fall apart....

Ellis - i'm jealous too!! and i can say that, 'cause i outweigh you. hope it's going well, and that he's as cute as he is helpful. i swear i'd exercise more, if i had some cute little thing named Raoul around to rub me down after... *wicked grin*

Catgirl - welcome to the nuthouse.

sounds like everyone had a good week, evil PMS aside... hope this one is even better for everyone.

Shel, on a quest to use every smiley in a single post-bunny
