Tera, If you're going to a hot climate take me w you I don't like any temps lower than 50* If u say you're going to a island I will b envious of u

I'm writing my turkey day menu after Dh gets home from work. Last year I tricked him & made sweet potato pie (instead of pumpkin pie) which he liked & always said he hated sweet potatoes after eating his mom's cooking. I also alternated sweet potatoes w russets in scalloped potatoes & he liked them @ Easter. Married to this guy for 20 yrs & his palate is getting better every year The only thing he won't budge on is me making a different turkey stuffing, he demands my traditional which is everyone's favorite & my dirty-rice recipe that I created for my ex-mother-inlaw that has won a few contests

Be healthy, safe & happy you'all this weekend

cals-1640 (160), ex-comb step/strength class at the Y. Feeling stronger everyday. Now, if only some of these pounds would melt away. I really need to aim for calorie totals near 1500 but that is so unlikely this time of year. Well, maybe after Thanksgiving or maybe I can fit in a few extra workouts.

Yes, I am going on a trip but not to a warm place. I am heading to Nebraska! They are already getting some pretty cold weather there. I am looking forward to seeing some lovely friends and family. I actually miss the cold weather but that doesn't mean I do well in it. It is hard to pack everything.

Hello you'all
It didn't rain yesterday, but the wind was cold as I grocery shopped for Thanksgiving in a mob of shoppers & this morning I woke up w a bad cold. When Dh came home from work we drove 40 miles to a Amish grocery store for some extra's. It's going to b very busy w soo much happening till January 1, be healthy & safe my friends

I've been getting a flu shot every December 1, since my g-babes gave me their flu badly in 2007 & I haven't gotten the flu since. Dh gets his flu shot early every November 1.

Does anyone get any vacations, I had a shingle shot in 2012 after 2 girlfriends of mine that got the painful shingles virus, not from each other. 1 friend had it attack her eyes leaving her with a vision problem & the other friend has hand, joints problems now affecting her hand strength.

Dee

Hi everyone from a sunny but chilly Pennsylvania. Not much going on here so I guess I will watch the Eagles and read the Sunday paper after church. Our small country church was about to go under. We had been given pastors that weren't a good fit for our congregation. Our newest one came about 2 months ago and he is amazing! He has turned our church around! Have a great day!

Yesterday:
B - oatmeal with blueberries
S - banana
L - roast beef sandwich
S - pretzels
D - leftovers

cals-2265(855), ex-none. I few extra unplanned calories in there. Not a good time for being lax moving into this week!

Renee-Glad to hear about the new source of spiritual guidance in your life. What a blessing for you and your church family. And, another thing to be grateful for during this special time of thanksgiving.

Renee.... are you a sleepy head this morning? Remember me talking to you about me living on 20 acres with 16 acres of woods where I'm surrounded by wildlife & farms & I have a large garden & we're building a greenhouse next spring & live 8 miles from the nearest town & 25 miles from the city... I've been talking to you on this thread for +5 months now. We have 4" of snow from Saturday.

Hi Tera

So how young are you
