Hang in there, Deelou....the scale will move in the right direction!

Thanks, it has been this way no matter how I eat for about 5 years...up and down 3 pounds with no connection. I am committed to eating healthier and am praying my primary care md will give me a referral to an endocrinologolist at Mayo, we are blessed to have it here in Jax. Thyroid can sure mess with you...no energy either....but I am staying the course!!

No change here:( Next week will be a challenge. My husband and I are going away for a few days and eating healthy will be tricky...have a great week everyone!!!!

No change for me this week. Looks like we have a few in this group going on vacation. I am joining the crowd. Headed to the U.S. to visit with some relatives for about 3 weeks. So hang in there ladies. Look forward to sharing updates when I get back. :)

Corinna, where in the U.S. are you visiting?

I just lost my post so here goes again.

No change for me either. I think that's three weeks now. Time for tweaking.

Deelou - I have thyroid issues too. I've gone from hypo to hyper and back again (maybe I already posted that). The jump to hyper was from too much medz and I felt horrible. My numbers look okay now but from what I've read and researched that doesn't necessarily mean a person is symptom free. Stinks. I hope you get some answers and you start to feel better.

I'm traveling too - next week. I already checked out restaurants for low carb fare. Shouldn't be a problem. I won't have a scale for our weigh-in but I'll be around to say hi.

Corrina, Renee, Skinny - have fun on your travels.

Jillie - how are you doing?

best,
Lizzie

Hi Chickies!

Congrats on Staying the Course this week! I too didn't lose, but thankfully didn't gain either.

We've had company, plus we're busy getting ready to go south for the winter next Sunday. Yesterday we met some peeps for a gathering of friends from high school. A mini high school reunion.....AT A BAKERY!!! Needless to say, I totally enjoyed a Ruben Sandwich on homemade pumpernickel bread with all the trimmings and a homemade brownie for dessert!!! It was definitely a decadent Fat Day.

Below is a picture of us....I'm 2nd from the right, and Hubster is next to me in the pink shirt. We all met in grade school, and then continued through jr and sr high school together til we graduated in 1969. We're all 62.

Second picture: We traveled over The Cherolhala Skyway to meet. It connects western NC with southern TN. What a glorious day for a drive!!! I was able (pure luck) to capture this post card like picture at about 4,000ft. The changing of seasons is just amazing here. I'm blessed to be able to live here 6 months of the year :)

Crimson my jump was from over medication too....ended up in hospital from almost collapsing and having bp all over the place and being shocky...first time in 36 years, still do not have the bill!!!

I have never been this tired in my life....
