Marie, I didn't get my Fitbit yet, paid extra for overnight shipping, too, very disappointed. They don't seem to have even shipped it out. I'm excited about it, though. I think I got more movement in today just because I'm anticipating it'll motivate me to move more.
The only bad thing is My Net Diary, which I love for its ease of tracking on the iPhone, does not yet synch with Fitbit. I think they have announced they will, because MFP and a lot of the other modern trackers do. It is a downer that MND does not. I posted a polite inquiry on their forum lol.
Good idea about evaluating the fluctuation with an eye to possibly changing your weighing frequency.
I don't fluctuate much daily and only need once a week data. I used to peek now and then in the week but now I don't bother and it would mess with my mind if I were down one day and up the next.
But I also am familiar with that problem of happening to be up on the official day, knowing that I really had lost some but had maybe exercised too much (hard to believe but it makes me swell sometimes) or eaten the wrong thing or too much salt or whatever. In that case, I sometimes have done a second weigh-in on Monday or Tuesday, whenever my schedule gave me time to replicate the same time slot, which I do religiously on Sunday (9 to 9:30 a.m. before brunch, which is when my weight is most stable).
Angela, I am in awe also of 10 miles run/walk and then an elli workout!
You are amazing!
Tera & Maryea, hi!!!
Ended eating day at 1590 and AGAIN had a piece of cake as still feeling down about something (not much of an excuse but it's all I've got lol).
However, it was a white cake slice from the Wally bakery and had a nutrition label with calories. I always assume the calories per ounce or gram of all products to be correct and usually assume the amount of product in the package is higher than stated, so it was easy for me to get an accurate count of what was REALLY the size of a half of the two person little cake in the box, round everything up nicely and save the rest for AFTER my weigh-in tomorrow.
I know it is not good to eat that highly processed cake (not good really to eat cake at all when I want to lose weight, but such is life). However, had I NOT had the rational small piece I had with a correct calorie count, I would have thought of cake all night and the things (mainly one thing) that is bothering me and I would have nibbled everything in sight all night and had a too big weigh-in tomorrow.
So I ate the cake.
Exercise was long walk, short jog, & 30 minutes weight, plus I kept going all day doing errands, shopping and chasing my dog around lol.
