The bloomers, the calico dress and apron the whole shebang. That is what I want to wear. but I know its not normal to want to dress that way. I hate being normal.
Arrowspark,
I'm kind of a newbie here myself, and don't get to check in every day. I only joined a week or so ago, but I've found encouragement in seeing the progress others have made. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, really. You're not alone. It's a struggle to lose weight and keep it off. I'm doing WW; I'm a 'not-quite-vegetarian', and I do love fresh fruits and veggies. I began this journey 3 weeks ago, and so far have lost 8#. I try to get out for a hike/walk (with my mp3 player) for an hour a day, and if you have time I'd give something like that a shot.
I just looked in the WW website; I saw about 300 vegan recipes there, and then they also have listed lots of vegan foods and their points value. I could mail you some of those recipes if you'd like. I don't think I could be disciplined enough to be a vegan...
Just go at this a day at a time; you'll do fine and you'll lose the weight. Go easy on yourself with the criticism, though -- you're a special person and I'm sure you have many fine qualities. And you don't have to be normal, either; some of us really like to be 'not normal'.

Hello GG! It's a nice day again today, just right. Dh just left to go fishing so I'm alone. We went to the gym for our yoga stretch this morning but I forgot to stop at the grocery store so will have to go out for a few things this afternoon. I was pleased to see I maintained my weight this morning and am hoping to see another good loss this week. Also good to be feeling better today..much more energy and less eye and head pain. If the eye pain isn't completely gone by next week though I plan to go see my eye doctor.

Donnamarie - So happy for you! Congrats!!

Fitchy & Slmn1 - I had heard Kindle was doing that soon. I'll give it a try however I already have so many books on there it'll take me forever to read them all! Slmn1..glad you mentioned your problems with it...it's been so long since I've gone to a library I don't even know where my card is!

Karen3 - Wow, tell your ds congrats on the book sales! I'm impressed! Glad the mole was nothing dangerous. Wear your badge proudly!

Marie - Not only can you buy MF Meals on Craigslist but also people are looking to buy or trade the products on there, so if there are ever some I want to trade or sell I probably can. Of course you want to be careful about who you deal with. I had my dh go with me to buy these even though I felt she (seller) was fine and she was very nice and the packages were intact (I look for very small pin holes just like I used to with Halloween candy!). Too bad we have to be so distrusting..that is not my nature but these days you just never know. The products are also sold on ebay some with free shipping some not. Congrats to your sister! That's really great...I know it's quite an accomplishment!

Well, time for another meal and then grocery shopping.

Congratulations DonnaMarie!! That is awesome!

Karen--great news about your sons books---I'll be watching for them. You have every right to be so proud of him... We are all proud of him!!

Been getting ready for our trip to Colorado. I think this time of year we may need to bring summer and winter clothes! Just never know. Glad we will have the closet in the 5th wheel and can hang down coats in there without taking a lot of room in a suitcase. Hoping to leave here this Sunday around midmorning. Going to pick up my aunt at my brothers house--- it is kind of on the way and easier to pick her up there than to try to get the RV turned around in her culdesack!! I think this may be a very interesting trip...Tim just keeps saying say a prayer for him...2 women and 3 dogs in a pickup truck across Kansas!! LOL!!! Bless His Little Heart!! LOL!!!

I've got my mind set now to go and enjoy.. not going to worry too much about eating, not going to pig out either, but then when I get back me and the Wii have a date!! I'm thinking I may take my pedometer with me and see if i can't get some walking in too..maybe. I guess there is a whole lot of ifs, and maybes in there huh. Guess will just wait and see how it goes!

Well, just wanted to touch base with everyone. I know I haven't made personal responses to everyone but know that I'm thinking of you. I'll try again later and will also have my laptop with me on the trip.. Take care.

Congratulations Donna Marie and Rosey ~ awesome ~ way to go

Out of work late by an hour again tonight ~ so my short evening is almost over. Three days down ~ one more to go.

Hoping I can go over and visit Sara (DD) tomorrow or this weekend and maybe give her some "hairapy". A term Corbin (DGS) invented for playing with their hair, or massaging their heads. I just got a text from her ~ she just got home from work about 1/2 hour ago (9:20 pm) poor thing. I think her job has gotten more stressful even than it was before.

Ok, guess I'd better get off and head to bed. Made it through day 2 of being OP with the food and again did not dip my hand into that huge bucket of halloween candy. I know ~ two days doesn't sound like much, but it's a start ~ gotta start somewhere

Rest well friends ~ take care

Good Morning, cp ate my message and I'm not typing it again.
Rosey...congrats on the new ticker, down 118 pounds. We're all so proud of you.
I see DH got his moose, lots of good eating!
My DH left this morning for antelope hunting, I've got a whole week to myself, yipee!
I'm also going to start counting calories, get rid of the 5 pounds I've put on over the last few months.

Hi everyone, I'm on my way out the door to clean my garden shed and put deck furniture away. That should jump start my diet.
