For September 1:

WW Points = 22 Exercise = First schlepping around the grocery store with DD3 for about 45 minutes buying food for today's "Birthday Bash" for DD2and my DH; then going to the park with DD3 & DGD so DGD could ride her little bike for a half hour (DD3 & I walking/jogging around with her); THEN schlepping around three (Count 'em - THREE) more stores in search of the perfect birthday gift for DD2; THIS took another two hours!

Yes, isn't it ironic that here WE are, TRYING to push ourselves to get enough exercise to drop a few pounds when there are children in the world like darling little Jessie who would dearly LOVE to be running and playing - and exercising - but can't? If only we really COULD help in some way...wouldn't it be wonderful?

Good Morning September Challengers,

Marylynn, 7 miles/120 minutes! That's GREAT!

Ali, 3 miles/60 minutes! Wonderful!

Karen, 3-Mile WATP tape + ab crunches! GREAT!

Zoe, I'm exhausted just reading about all that shopping - one of my LEAST favorite activities.

Keep up the GREAT work, everyone.

Hello All,
I know --- a little low on calories today but didn't get much exercise in either! Everytime I tried to do my WATP's the phone rang or we had someone looking at the house! A couple that looked at it this afternoon said they really want it and will be in touch with their lender on Tuesday! They said "Short of robbing a bank" they would do everything possible to get it! So keep your That everything works out for them. HAve a good night!

Theresa & Zoe, go to fitday.com & look up under activities. You can actually calculate the housework, errands & shopping into activities. It's nice to know that we can actually count the activities we do on the days we exhaust ourselves with chores!

We've made it 2 days, lets shoot for three!

Karen, here's hoping that this sale will go through!

Have a good evening to everyone, get some rest!

Well, I'm not being very good about this challenge, but I'll do my best. I'll post for yesterday because that's what I did yesterday

Okay - Food was 23 points, and exercise was...well...cleaning my house is all. But we went from top to bottom because my DD1's DH was planning to come for dinner with the rest, and he's allergic to khats, so I vacuumed every cushion and throw pillow - the couches, the chairs, even the curtains - and I cleaned all the window whattayacallits with bleach spray and DH vacuumed every rug and swept (vacuuming every rug in THIS house is a LOT, trust me) and I cleaned everything in the kitchen, wiped the counters all down with bleach spray...the bathrooms....I mean, we cleaned here from @ 7:30 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon. AND THEN HER DH ENDED UP NOT COMING, AFTER ALL! Grrrrrrrrr!!!!! Well, it's nice to have a spotless house, anyway, so I can't complain.

And I guess that's it for now. Thanks for posting that recipe, Tee....Wow! A little labor intensive maybe? I'm going to try it, though...it just looks purely delish!

Ok well today was better. I did the 3 mile WATP's video --45 minutes and 200 crunches on the ab lounge for 15 minutes. Calories were 1039. I'm happy if I can get in between 1000 and 1200 calories. Have a good night.

Zoe, after going through that to get the house clean I would have been tempted to drive over & pick the guy up & drag him back to admire your home. No matter, now you guys won't have to clean for months! Have a great day.

Good night everyone!

Good Morning Everyone,

Marylynn, Phyllis, LindaD, Karen, Theresa, Ali, good to see you posting!

OK, Joanne, Zoe, Heidi, Trish, where are you?

AHHH - I just found you, Zoe. You posted your update at the end of the post instead of editing your original post. WOW that's a LOT of cleaning - too much for me - I gave up cleaning a long time ago. Princess and I just keep things straightened up until our cleaning lady comes every other week.

Keep on keepin' on.

OK today was a -0- Day for exercise! Not Good! I ended up doing lots of "Brain Workouts" but they don't count!

Karen! You're doing it right! If you don't take a day off every now & then you're going to both wear out & bore out! I have a motto that I can skip one day but not two. Back when I cared about who was looking at my legs (ie - when I was single) I refused to shave em until I had worked out. Was a great reminder not to skip too often. Now that's not the same motivation it once was.

You're fine! No reason to beat yourself up over a rest day, enjoy the rest & power up for tomorrow! Have a great evening.
