I lose in my face and boobs first, then my thighs and butt and lastly my stomach. I can understand the deep end of the pool analogy then. It is the place I have the most fat to lose so it makes sense that it would take longer to leave that area. Sucks though. If only there really were a way to spot reduce.
I lose first in my waist. Which is so awesome, since I'm a total pear and that's really the only place that's already just fine. I'm down almost 10 pounds and the only place that the measurement has changed is my waist. Sigh. Oh well, the rest has to move eventually.
Boobs, and arms (bicep area). Which is fine about the arms... but the ONLY thing I like about my body (when I'm fat... and even sometimes when I was thin) is my boobs.
I hate seeing them go first...
BodyByButter - I love your name! It would fit my aunt perfectly. I tell her she is the Paula Deen of the North.
I don't know if you were directing your question to me or someone else, but I had noticed it within 10 lbs. It was just the oddest thing. I of course am now experiencing the weight loss in my itty bitties. So, now I call them teensy weensies.
I lose it from my face, the back of my thighs my ankles and wrist, my stomach and hips are last to go....not an ounce of fat below my knees and the same could be said from my elbows down.....lol
I tend to lose it all over which is good and bad. Bad for my chest which is a 34C and I'd like to keep it that way, lol. But good because everything from my stomach to butt to legs seems to respond to diet and exercise. Although I wish my waist would whittle just a bit more to make me a little curvier because I'm a banana shape. Oh well.
I'm another one who loses in the chest area first. I gain it in my stomach and thighs first. I carry more weight in my lower body, a cross between a pear and apple, I think. A pepple.
I don't ever notice any one place, it all come off evenly, but what I hate is that at 50 lbs overweight, I have to lose at least 20 before it makes any difference at all! UGGH so frusterating
from the top down....
face, chest, stomach, thighs and then calves
the last measurements with my trainer...1.5" off my chest () in one month....it was quite a shock. glad to have lost weight but I wish it was off my thighs...and my calves? gained half an inch....
