Trying to get fit before 50. My current Wt. goal is 145 (my brother promised me a trip to NY and a broadway show). Started at 185 and am down 10 pounds in about 1 1/2 months. Starting to slow down. Am hoping for a pound a week now. My other goal is to ride my bike to work every day. Since I started on August 8th I haven't missed a day. I am trying to limit my calories to 1000 after I subtract the number of calories I burn at the gym or biking. I might eat 1500 calories but if I rode my bike both ways to work (200 calorie burned) and worked out at the gym for 300 calorie burn I would met my goal. Well I look forward to posting/blogging here and reading everyone's updates.

Mar 10, 2012 (Spring Break) 149 lbs
May 2, 2012 (first run of the season) 145 lbs Goal
