Default 300+ And Ready To Try Again...#931

WELCOME !!!

We are a group of individuals who weigh or have weighed 300+, or near there. This group was formed to provide a place for others like us to find support and hope. We are aware of the distinct problems that come with weighing over 300 lbs.

We want to invite everyone to join us in our journey.
We share laughter and tears.
We share what works for us and what doesn't.
We often use a "Topic of the Day" for discussion.

Motivational Monday
Tuesday Tips
Wednesday Wish List .. and What you are doing to obtain it.
Thankful Thursday
FUN Friday ... don't wait until you lose your weight.
Sit-up Saturdays - any physical activity
Share your Success Sunday

These are not required topics ...just ideas to share. We often find them very helpful. We also share heartaches and fears ... joys and celebrations.

We have several extra threads going on simutaneously such as Monthly Challenges, Weekly Weigh-ins, Recipes, Bios, and more. Please feel free to check them all out.

We have found this thread to be more than just a support group...
we have found it to become a home. We invite you to join us.

WELCOME!

I know you'll all agree that we are really thankful for the free services here at 3FC. The sisters offer all of this support and information with no charges to us. There are a couple of ways though that we can help out.

If you are thinking about buying anything at Amazon, why not help out 3FC at the same time? You can do this by clicking on the button for Amazon on any page in the forum, or by clicking on the button on the main 3FC page at www.3fatchicks.com . A portion of your purchase price will be given to 3FC by Amazon. It doesn't increase your price at all, but it does help out 3FC. You can use any of the Amazon.com links that you see on the site in order to help contribute to the site.

Also, BTW, in case you didn't know it, you can view the message boards "ad free" for a minimal charge. I think it's like $15 for 6 months. A very small investment to be rid of the annoying ads and make your pages load quicker.

There have been some concerns expressed by the powers that be about copyright infringement. So please, if you are directly quoting someone else or printing an article in whole or in part, please give credit where credit is due!!

Hi Ladies,

Well, I'm cleaning big time today getting ready for my company. I say big time but honestly I clean like this every single week except a few other things that I have added like washing rugs and blankets etc. LOL.

Welcome New Sharon. I say new because we have one lovely Sharon already. So, now we have two lovely Sharons! I hope you will love it here as much as I do. Everyone is so sweet, encouraging and helpful.

Melissa: Congrats Graduate! Congrats on being down another 5 pounds too.

Nancy: Big hugs to you. Hang in there.

Sharon: Hope you are feeling much better now.

Crock: We are both Junebugs. My birthday is the day before yours. June 17th. Now this is just my plan so don't feel like you have to do it or even listen. My hubby is planing a bar b q on Saturday and I will eat normally for the bar b q. Ya now, skipping bread, potato salad, macaroni salad. I will be having a small piece of my birthday cake. I have already made a plan to have a piece of my cake and then on Monday I willl go back down to my phase I for a few days to make up for it. That is my plan. I mean, I only will be turning the big 40 once in my life. I have been so good with the exceptions fot those 12 m&M's the other day. I have had no sugar since April 19th pretty much. I hope you choose whatever is best for you my sweetie Crock.

Suemarie: Oh boy, big hugs for you. I wish I could help you feel better. You have to go to your graduation. You have worked so darn hard for it. I will be praying for you to start feeling better.

Blessings all, I had to stop in and get my 3fc fix for today. I need to get back to cleaning the bathroom and laundry room now. LOL.

Ok, ladies I'm new (actually old but back again) here and I'm already in need of support.

Yesterday was the begining of my 4th week. Week one, great, lost 9 lbs. Week 2, great, lost 3 lbs, weeks 3 (last week) ate some crap and didn't lose but stayed the same, not great but not a big deal. Yesterday, ate a little more than I should have but nothing unreasonable.

Today---I've been out of my mind starving. I kept things under control until dinner and then I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich, onion rings and a bowl of cream of brocolli soup. Why oh why do I always think I'm ok to go to restaurants? Apparently I don't have any control when I go out to eat.

My main concern is last night I lost weight (between Jan 04-Nov 04, during which time I lost 96 lbs) I was completely motivated and had no desire to cheat. Now all I think about all day is cheating. What's wrong with me? Isn't high blood pressure, etc enough to make me want to be thinner? Apparently not. HELP!

Sorry about the whine fest. lol. I think you're all doing a terrific job and I wish I could be more like each and every one of you.

Thanks for listening.

Hi ladies, I'm feeling a little better today... I kicked my fever and and not whoozy anymore. nose isn't runny, but man it's snore from all that wiping I have a little chest congestion, but I have been drowning myself with water and hot tea with lemon and honey. Keeping myself hydrated. Still a little weak, but at least I shook the fever and the cold sweats!

Take care everyone!

Don't worry you can't catch my cold through posting

Hi Ladies!
Last week I went swimming for about 100 minutes on Thurs. and again on Sat. and tonight I went to a 1 hour Water Aerobics class - my first - and it was great! My fiance went with me...he was the only guy there, lol. We both loved it, and we both wanna go back! It runs 3 days a week, I wanna try to do it as much as I can - cause it would be my only exercise for now. So my guy and I are going again on Thursday. I'm hoping my 5pd loss last week was due to the exercise on top on the calorie counting and maybe it'll help me have a decent loss again next week.
Have a good night gals, and stay on track!!

Hey there, Can definitely sympathize with the foot pain. I have heal spurs and it feels like I am shoving glass into my feet with every step and a dull ache when resting. I am trying to find exercise that I can't use that as my excuse, so I am trying ellipticals.

Have not gained any weight this week, but have not lost either. Need to be more diligent with my eatting. That is sometimes the hardest thing, since no matter what I do, I have to watch every morsel, but others I spend time with can eat anything and stay the same.

Hope everyone has a great night!!!

Woo hooo Ammi there you are on the edge of TwoDerville! Yippee!!!

Greetings to all.

Kayley, can't wait to hear how the job applications are going and the results!!!

I did a bit better with the walking today although I was in a class most of the day and didn't have much opportunity. But my knee felt a bit better; I am still not back to normal but could do it some, and also did water aerobics tonight. So hopefully I am on the mend!!
