Eek, I'm afraid I'm falling behind on my exercise minutes. When I get a chance I need to do some projections so that I don't have ALL my minutes due at the end of the month.

I worked out 42 minutes on my bike today. I could have done more, but woke up late again and needed to go to work!. Yesterday I was lazy and didn't do a thing. I am hoping this week will be a productive one! :-)

GROUP TOTAL 9541 + 42 = 9583

kayleystar 03-20-2006 08:26 PM

Got a couple of new dvds, and I did 20 minutes of the first one today...and boy am I feeling it!

9583+20=9603

NotTheCheat 03-20-2006 08:53 PM

I am trying to up my time on the elliptical every day, and today I made it to 12 minutes. Then I did 35 minutes on the treadmill, which brings my total to 888. OK - so I didn't hit my March goal today, but there is no way I won't make it tomorrow!

The new group total is 9603 + 47 = 9650

And I swear I didn't plan that - it just came out even on its own!

Heather 03-20-2006 09:16 PM

Nancy -- Way to go!!! Very exciting! I don't know if I'll make my goal, but I think I will go above the minutes for last month!

MariaLucia -- Yes, fitting it all in gets tricky! We just keep trying!

I got in 30 minutes today...

Group Total ~ 9650 + 30 = 9680 minutes!

After Curves this a.m. spent hours at the barn on my feet and even walked up the driveway (hill) beside a rider. I didn't even feel like sitting down like I would have a year ago, so I have to keep coming back to that little NSV. Anyway, I even did an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill tonight for a bonus heart rate elevator. Hey, every little bit helps! Besides, I don't know how to count the time at the barn.

10 + 9680 = 9690

Has anyone here bought a microwave apple baker from Richard Simmons?? I got one off ebay without instructions and Richard (or someone posing as him) emailed me that he could not find the instructions that it was a very old product. I was hoping someone here might have one from way back when and be able to tell me how to use it. The person I bought it from said it was an old QVC special item and they did not have the instructions either.

Thought it might be worth it to ask.

9690 + 65 = 9755

Didn't do well at all today. I was feeling really 'blah', which it seems everyone at school is feeling. Not sure why. It could be the heat, but there is also a 'tension' at that place that you could cut with a knife lately.

Anyway, I only did my 25 mins on the treadmill this morning. I was feeling so down this evening and have been tired during the day and didn't want to make myself ill again. So I decided to just take it easy. I haven't done that before without someone else telling me to, so it was kinda a milestone for me. I still feel REALLY guilty for not doing my second workout, but I'm hoping I'll feel better for it tomorrow.

Personal Goal... 360 - 25 = 335 mins to go of March's 1700 min goal.

Group Total... 9755 + 25 = 9780

Hope everyone else is having a better day.

Take care,

Zelma

Well, I finally did 10 minutes on the eliptical.

Making my personal total 600 - 231 = 369 to go!

Group total: 9780 + 10 = 9790

dolfingirl2000 03-21-2006 10:34 AM

Morning everyone

Add another 75 minutes on to my total. :)

New Group total:

9790 + 75 = 9865

NoLifeWithoutHorses 03-21-2006 12:38 PM

90 minutes working out at a local fitness class - Phew! It was great!! But NOT easy!

90 + 9865 = 9955

Well, I did my regular bike routine - 50 minutes today. I calculated my minutes and I'm going to get to my goal, I have to work out 50 minutes each day of the week this week and next week, with the weekend off. I just looked at my workout log - I've worked out 13 out of 21 days this month. Not bad for someone who went to the gym once or twice a week before.

Group total: 9955 + 50 = 10,005

Cheers! :-)

teahoney 03-21-2006 05:16 PM

45 minutes from me today. I can't believe it. We're over 10,000 minutes. Go head ladies.

10,005+45=10,050

Heather 03-21-2006 05:21 PM

Yes indeed we are over 10K in minute with 10 days to go! What's our record, something like 12K? (I should keep track!) Let's blow the roof off it!

Zelma -- I hope you feel better, I know it's unusual for you not to do both of your routines, but hopefully listening to your body will pay off!

I did some elliptical and treadmill (up to 12 min!) and weights for a total of 43 minutes.

Group total = 10,050 + 43 = 10,093 minutes!

kayleystar 03-21-2006 08:32 PM

I got two new dvd's the other day...one is called "10 minute solution: Kickbox bootcamp". It has 5 different 10 minute workouts: Basic training, ultimate buns & thighs, arm & shoulder sculptor, washboard abs, and fat burning blast. I did the buns & thighs today, and washboard abs (only for 5 minutes, though, as I was on a hard wood floor, and don't have a mat!).
I also got another crunch workout dvd called "Fat burning dance party", and I only did the warmup, which was 5 minutes. I'm just feeling so BLAH.
So 20 minutes for me today.

10,093+20=10,113

NotTheCheat 03-21-2006 10:21 PM

Zelma - Don't feel guilty! The important thing is to listen to your body.

I did 35 minutes on the treadmill tonight. Once again I had planned to come home and do some strength training tonight but I didn't feel up to it. This plan definitely won't work - I need to find another way to get it in during the week. My total is now 923, which means I have hit my March goal! :flame:

The new total is 10,113 + 35 = 10,148
