Hi Sharon,

I live in Swansea in South Wales. There are some gorgeous beaches around here, well they are a bus trip away from where my house is, but still close enough. How long did you live in Wales for, do you miss it? I used to live in Australia and I definitely miss living there.

Weird that you aren't having weather as nice as we are, normally it's the other way around. I sure hope you get your washing dried. I am about to go put another lot out now. LOL about us being weather girls when we lose weight, we could be the other weather girls now, the singers lol, well I could be anyway, got the perfect figure for it. Shame about the voice though, lol.

Hugs,

Ammi

HI ammi, did'nt want to put the original weather girls in case you were offended! Glad you realised wing should have been WIND. I live there for 18-24 months, I did like it the people were lovely, but I moved home and started divorce proceedings, ex-hubby's sis lived there, my family are in derbyshire, between notts & derby. Apart from there being no sea here (which I miss) it is beautiful, we're on the edge of the peak district.
Why did you leave oz? We are seriously thinking of going to nz, they're short of printers (hubby's trade) and educated (me?!!) or skilled people, oz has too many bugs and snakes for my taste!

regards,
sharon

How's everyone's weekend going so far? I know it's early Saturday still, but I have been up for hours! I FINALLY vacuumed my apartment--I have been finding more spiders around lately, and I assume they are following other smaller bugs that I haven't seen yet, so I figured that meant my apartment was WAY too dirty! I have lived here for alomst a year, and all year long I only saw 2 bugs until in the past 2 weeks, I found 4 little black beetle type things, 4 spiders, and a centipede! I HATE bugs--can't even stand to get close enough to them to squish them--so I keep my can of Raid handy for killing them from a distance. When Jeff and I are living together, though, I can make him kill the bugs

Well, today is a shopping day. I have to go grocery shopping (haven't done that in over 2 weeks), go to Barnes & Nobels for some marketing layout books, go to a craft store for Jeff to get some more clay (he's been making sculptures lately--random new hobby, but hey, if it keeps him busy), to a few thrift stores to see if I can find some decent CHEAP furniture (my couch is broken, uncomfortable, AND ugly--too many problems to fix with a slipcover ), and then probably to Hollywood Video to rent a few movies to watch later. Tryin' to hit all stops at once to avoid multiple trips since gas is well over $3 per gallon at every station I've seen around here

Made some bad choices last night--had pizza, cheese sticks, and fried chicken fingers from Papa John's for dinner. Gotta get back on track for the rest of the weekend!

Hey jilly, I'm sure with all that rushing around it won't make any difference, especially if you get back on track.I always have a break from the diet on thurs, fri or sat.
I hate centipedes, but my worst are earwigs I get hysterical and shake like crazy if I see one, but I usually throw bugs outside (except earwigs which hubby kills) I try not to use insecticides and aerosols, having two small kids I try to minimise their contact with chemicals.

regards,
sharon
