June 26th I spent the day helping my parents set up their camping area then I swam in the lake for a couple of hours then I floated in the lake. That was my favorite part. Except I couldn't seem to relax much. My imagination was going totaly wild. The ranger talking about a "troublesome" bear just had me thinking that he was in the thick of the forest stalking me because I looked so BIG and TASTY! Boy how my mind works lol. On Monday I rode the recumbant bike. I have been avoiding the gym pool because my membership is up and I have to pay now. I was trying to wait until this coming Friday to do it but I don't think I can wait that long.
Blessings and Keep up the wonderful work. In response to your question/comment about feeling good when I sweat my butt or work out, yes, It is such a wonderful habbit for me I hope that I never break it. I feel so good after exercise. When I swim especially I really sleep good.
Love ya,
Dogpal
Monday, June 27 - 45 minutes of walking. I really didn't want to go last night. I haven't been sleeping well, my legs have been hurting and I tweaked that dang ankle I broke two years ago playing badmitton Sunday night, and it was SO horribly hot and humid. You know, pried myself out of the deck chair, got those tennies on and did it anyway! It was so hot last night that my son was asking if we "could just take a shorter route this one time!" I didn't do that either. I figured if I was out there, I was doing the long haul. So glad I did!
Doxie you are such an inspiration. I'm so sorry that you hurt your old "Football" injury. Old injuries are horrid but, you went and walked. Good for you. Keep it up.
I also snooped a bit over the beginning of this challenge until today and I have a few things to say. First of all, I am so sorry that even though you told us that you and your hubby were celebrating your 18th wedding anniversary, Doxiemom, I was too sick and wrapped up in myself to tell you Congratulations. It is so hard in this day and age to stay married. You are a true champ. I consider myself a semi hero in this catagory as well. I am proud of your accomplishment and I have an inkling that like in my life, God plays an important role in your life and your DH life as well. Which is wonderful. I hope that you spend many, many more years celebrating your anniversaries together.
Next, WHERE IS EVERYONE???

You girls are GREAT! Dogpal, thanks for the congrats. I do thank God everyday for my husband and my son (even when he's being a hormonal alien from hades!!). Biggirl, you are so right. There are nights when I have to make myself get out there and walk, but I always do it and I'm always glad when I get it done!
Next week my water aerobics start back up and this time around, I have signed up for 3 days a week. So, I will being doing wa three days and walking four. Hoping the different exercise routine will shake things up and some of this stubborn fat will let go!
Tuesday - 30 minute walk, 30 minutes of badmitton. It was so hot and humid last night here in KC that I actually cut my 45 minute walk down to 30, and only did 30 of badmitton. I was drenched when we finally got done!
Thursday - June 30 - 30 minutes of walking. Had to cut the walk short because of the storms. Although it wasn't raining when we left the house, it was rumbling. A BIG loud lightening bolt struck very close in front of us as we were walking (have to admit I thought I was going to have to go home and change my underpants!), and not only did my poor baby girl freak, my son freaked and begged me to call our neighbor to come get us. I calmed him down and we just turned around and walked back home, but I did get over a mile in. The weather looks like it will be more agreeable today, so I am aiming for my full 2 miles tonight.
