Aww I hope it starts back up again...

My weight has been shifting this week, but I have had to be very much on point with every mouthful and I have been burning 500-1000 calories through exercise a day. Its exhausting But I have some targets to catch up on, so I need to keep going for a few weeks anyway.

I enjoyed a nice whoosh today.
A while back I read an article about how as we lose weight sometimes our bodies fill those fat cells with water. After time it decides to let it go and then we get a whoosh. Ever since then I try to remember that when the scale does not budge after staying on plan. Wish I would have known that years ago...
Have a healthy week everyone.

Thanks Ubee for posting that I read that as well but I tend to forget. It's TOM so I haven't "lost" anything but then again I hold on to a lot of water during TOM so yeah... maybe I will see the scale move for next week.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Aww that's great to know

I wasn't so much on track over the weekend as Me and my mum drove up to see my sisters wedding venue (3h or so away). So lots of car sitting and we treated ourselves to British Seaside Chips (fries) which are high in salt and fat. We then had a few sweet treats yesterday, and today I am up by 1.9lbs. Today I have been fairly good, but not feeling the workout. Tomorrow I will be going to work my butt off.

Lost 1.8lbs total last week ontop of my gain, so I am still making a loss. Fingers crossed I can get it shifted asap.

Feeling stuck here as well. I know I need to make better choices, but I keep buying and eating junk. I'm keeping from gaining more than I have by spending a lot of time at the gym, but I know I could be losing if I made more of an effort with my eating plan. AAAAGHHHH.

On the upside, I did my first (machine assisted) pull up over the weekend! After being the fat kid in gym class growing up, I never thought I'd be able to. Pretty neat.

I guess we are all in the same boat. I try to stay under 100g carbs per day but I have been doing very very badly lately. Yesterday I had 126g. *sigh* then I came to work unprepared. I am visiting family and I KNOW eating right with my family is the hardest thing. At this point if I can not gain weight I am happy.

Hi Folks.

It has been over a month! I have been very preoccupied. I found out that I have to have heart surgery in the next month or so. I have been spending a lot of time going back and forth to the doctor and am about half way through wearing a 30 day heart monitor. I am glad I started posting hear because what I noiticed is that today I am exactly the same weight I was when I started this challenge. That is remarkable considering what has been happening! In other words, not a lot of stress eating.

I have made strides in my efforts to get more sleep and move more. I have been doing at least an hour of some kind of movement most days (usually stationery bike or walking outdoors). I have been getting to bed earlier on at least half of the nights

Scotsgal, you were lamenting a few pages back about how your weight had stayed the same. Do not forget that maintaining is a beautiful thing! Each week has its own rewards.

I appreciate everybody's support!

Dee aka activeadventurer

Dee good luck with your surgery and PLEASE keep us updated.
I agree with the maintaining and not gaining.
Our bodies are a mystery and sometimes they may just need some time to adjust.

Just wanted to share that I had a GREAT NSV!
I had bought the cutest Spring sweaters at a rummage sale while I was regaining. I never got to wear them until now!!!
I love these sweaters. They are not your typical fat lady clothes. They are bright and cute. So happy!
Come on gang let's keep whittling away at those pounds.

Dee I hope all goes well and yes, please keep us posted about the surgery.

Ubee Great NSV.

I spent the long weekend with my parents and gained a pound. They eat out for almost every meal. I made some good choices and even managed to get 2 workouts in. I learned that I have to be more prepared when it comes to traveling I ate a lot on the roadtrip back because I skipped breakfast and coffee. But I am going to work out every day this week to make up for it.

Just got back to the 300+ board and thought I would jump in here...

Easter was not too bad for me. Mom cooked a ham, coleslaw, black-eyed peas and we had cake. Compared to our usual family dinners this one was modest. It was also very delicious. I ate a normal meal except for maybe a little too much cake. (this is good for me). Then traveling finished out the day. All in all, it was not our typical Easter but it was a good one.

I just started IF [intermittant fasting] Saturday and have stayed in a 6-hour window since then. I still eat what I like but find it easier to quit when I am full. I don't get it but hey it's working and I am thrilled. Not going to look at a scale until I go back home the next time.

Karen, chocolate and sweets in general are a tough one for me also. One day at a time and baby steps is a great plan.
Hi Pam, I am thinking you may want to head over to the 300+ chat thread. This is a weight loss challenge one
and since you are not weighing...
