Hope everybody had a great first week!

Not a lot of movement on the scale for me, but I think I'm able to get a better handle on my eating. Over the weekend, I had my final weigh in for a HealthyWage challenge I started in September. I surpassed my goal, so just waiting on the final results to be processed so that I can get my payout. Depending on how that goes, I may sign up for another challenge on there.

Hello Everyone!!

ActiveA The spreadsheet automatically saves what you have entered, so don't worry about that.

This last week has also been a very slow one for me, I was doing some mindless eating at the end of last week and it meant I have maintained all week, I don't weigh in until tomorrow, But I really hope that I can put in a loss on the sheet. So need to be careful what I eat today.

I decided to have wings Sunday night so I saw a slight increase. Darn the sodium. I have been working out more so I hope to see a few whoosh's this month.

Karencat congrats on the 2 down. Some people love us but have trouble with saying the wrong/right things.

I am happy to say I am down 50 pounds today from my restart! I am pushing very hard because I bought a beautiful dress on line for a wedding in June and I need to drop a lot of weight to make it fit nicely. (No returns.)

Hoping everyone is doing well. It is so quiet. Please don't give up!

It might be a little premature to say, but I feel like I'm finally back on track with my eating! I've been hitting my calorie range for the last few days. I've learned that I absolutely, positively need to log my food every day so that I don't cheat.

I've signed up for two more paid weight loss challenges online, since the first one went well, and with those has come a renewed commitment to getting healthier.

On an unrelated note, my DH and I are looking at buying a trailer this week to start building our tiny house on! So excited!

Hello Girlies

So I am frustrated with my self just now, because I know I can do better! I have weighed in the same for the last 3 weeks, I have been feeling hungrier, but I don't have the spare calories to do anything about it. I think I might need to re assess the times that I eat, so that I can space things out better. I was trying to up my calories after spending a year at 12-1300 calories, but now I think I may be a little too high, only problem is, if I lower it already, when I lose more weight, where will I get the extra calories from? Maybe 1600 needs to be my level, when sometimes I am 1650-1700.

I am also learning to run, I have been doing interval running on the treadmill for my warm up every gym day. So far I can only get in 0.66 of a mile in 10 mins. The aim is to work towards a 10 minute mile, but it's pretty high impact and can feel the pressure on various parts of my body as I do it. I really need to get some weight shifted.... So I think I need to start living in the gym to get some extra weight gone.

Scotsgal - That's great that you're trying to learn to run! If you've never tried it, I can't say enough good things about the Couch to 5k program/app if that's an option for you. I never got down to a 10 minute mile, but I was able to get to a point where I could finally jog a continuous 30 minutes without stopping at a pace of around 14 min/mi.

Ahh... I saw 301.8 on Sunday but I have seen 302.4 since then so that is what I logged. MEH!! I am trying not to be sad about things but it's taking its toll. I do think it must be water weight because I know I didn't eat any where near enough calories to cause that.

Sorry I've been missing recently, I nearly had to cut myself from my own challenge because I somehow forgot to update the spreadsheet . So all month I have been at 272 something and it has been driving me crazy. today I weighed in at 271.6 which is my new low, would be ace to get out of these darn 270's which have been taunting me for to long now.

Blicca Yeh I tried the couch to 5k, but they start you Walk/running for 15 mins, but I could only start at 10 However, I did go a run from my house to the end of the harbour pier and back which is 1.04miles. I did it in 17mins. So I think I will work on that, the more I do it, the less ill have to walk parts and hope to get the timing down.

Ichoose Chin up! Keep it up, consistency is key.

Karen We can do this!! fight the up and down battles and just keep going down

Glad to see a loss this week. I wasn't so sure about it.
I have been forgetting that I have a tight dress I want to wear to a wedding in June. I have decided to take it out of the closet and hang it where I can see it. I need to stay vigilant and increase my feeble exercise attempts.
Looks like everyone who is still in the challenge is doing well.
Lets face it staying aware and showing up can also be labeled as success.

Yay everyone seems to be doing well so far, or at least making plans on getting back on it. Ubee I have done the exact same thing, but with a cute pair of jeans, top, strapless bra and a thong from Wish . The jeans fit, but they looked like they were cutting me off when I bought them, so I hung them on the back of my door, along with again a top that fits, but was too tight. I go to Germany on tour again in 5 weeks, and I want to be able to pack them and look cute and summery in them . I also have a £41 abt $50 Strapless Wonderbra that better fit by the time my friend gets married in June, but I have about 2 Inches to go before It will close...... so I wish you luck and I might need some myself .

Well I peaked at 274 something over the weekend with that world food buffet, but luckily I seem to jump back on it quite quickly. Yesterday I helped lay turf in my grans garden, I was there for an hour and a half battling with roots and a rose bush and other stuff... but just over 1,000 calories burned later, I was done. Abs are killing.... Quads are a mess but I weighed in at 271.2 this morning which is a new low. So instead of sabotaging myself like I seem to do, I made a chart! I love my charts , I will stay under 1500 calories all week, and try and burn 1,000 calories every day and hope that not only I can see those 260's very soon, but to just get back on track a little.
