Just popping in quickly to give my update for the week. I was weighing in on Mondays when I first started, but have moved to the weekend now. I have to admit that I do weight most days (I actually like to have an idea of how my body changes from day to day and at different times of the day) but I like having a bit more time at the weekends, so I weigh before I do my Sunday gym session (I don't go on Saturdays, so I like to think it gives me a bit of time to recover from working out!).

Not overly impressed with myself for the past two weeks, but I can trace it to the wrong kinds of food (I went to the movies yesterday and although I didn't eat as much as I normally do, I wasn't exactly good!). So here's to a new week and working just that little bit harder!

LIV - Fantastic result for you this week Keep up the great work

FERRIS - regardless of what you have been up to it can't have been too bad cos you still had a good loss there .. doubt if I will this week lol .. but like you said .. tomorrow is another day and Im sure that you will get back into the swing of things




Okee .. so just did my updated photos and put them with my original ones from when I started again on this journey back in August ... one of these days I will have my hair done nicely for it rather than looking like an icky sight lol ... should have done it before I started cooking and cleaning! And boy do I need to start doing some work on my arms .. yuck .. lol ... but thats ok .. at least they are getting smaller and not bigger .. bagginess aside

So anyway .. here are my updated pics .. and tomorrow I will post my measurements with this weeks weigh in The August pics I was about 318 pounds

Isles that darn groundhog saw his shadow! Good thing we will have extra time before we need to wear our bikini! How is Atkins going?
Katt my body double. Well close enough. You have a better top shelf and I have more back fat. Same arms... except I got the privilige of a turkey neck/chin. By the way ! It must feel great looking at those pictures!

So frustrated this week! I have stayed under calories all week but 1 day. And a gain of 4lbs! Not sure what my body is up to but very disappointed. I will keep chugging along though and hope for a great number next week!

I stayed the same this week. At least it wasn't a gain. I'm going to hit it hard with my workouts this week. I also need to remember to write down what I'm eating...I always forget to do that.

UBEE - If you my double get your butt in front of a cam and start flaunting it lol. I know one of my cousins in Canada is actually my double .. scary when we see pics of each other lol .. so its nice to know there are a few more of me out there

EDOE - Don't let it get you down hun .. it takes a while for your body to get used to something it hasn't been put through before. Keep pushing yourself to get healthier in your choices and it will work out eventually when your body figures out what you are planning for it

ALLY - Great job maintaining .. there are always lessons on this journey regardless of how good or bad you do in a week Keep it up




Well .. I really had no expectations to lose anything this week .. after my terrible off plan last week and being up almost 6 pounds on Friday I was hoping just to get back to what I weighed last Monday ... I did put off weighing myself this morning .. kept puttering around tidying things up ... dreading the scale ... but I took a deep breath and hopped on .. and felt such a weight off my shoulders. It is so interesting this journey ... I feel a heck of a lot more responsibility for my actions now as I have started this challenge .. as well as another one on Face Book .. and I really don't want to let anyone down .. I know I went badly off plan last week and I can't say I felt wonderful other than when I did it lol ... but I stopped thinking and just went into old habits of indulging .. yep .. definitely something I still need to work on .. but over the weekend I reverted back to my new old ways and thank goodness it paid off My daughter did say to me this morning when I was texting her about me putting off weighing in because I wasn't looking forward to it being up and she said "you can't always lose weight mum" ... it must be the competitive part of me lol .. cos I don't like NOT losing weight lol.

I'm pretty sure this AM's number is the LOW range of my scale, I have those, high and low weights for my range my body seems variable based on what I've eaten. INot just salt but carb content or fibre etc tends to jump around I didn't eat much yesterday compared to my normal Sunday noshing. (I usually have at least snacks out at a friends on Sunday nights. But it wasn't so long ago that my "low" number was 322. So I'll take it... the trend is definitely downwards even if its not that drastically downwards.
