Removing her as a friend is obviously a personal decision, but I probably would have done the same myself. To me it's no different than making prejudiced comments about any group -- just always surprises me that anyone would think that those types of actions are acceptable at any level. Quite truthfully, doesn't sound like you've lost much in terms of friendship here.

Now that I think about it, I don't even like people to post pictures of me on the social media without asking me first. I know that's on the extreme side, but I'm still not comfortable with having my picture taken. Social media is definitely a love/hate relationship for me!
