I 100% get it. When you weigh a lot 10 pounds feels like a drop in a bucket.
I've lost 12 pounds so far, and even though I fought really freakin' hard to lose those 12 pounds there's no way I'd ever tell anyone because I'd be embarrassed. In my head I imagine someone saying "12lbs? So, what? You stopped eating for a day or something?" The people in my head are cruel.
Realistically it has taken me a long time to figure out what type of food and how many calories my insulin resistant body needs to begin to lose weight. I wish it was as simple as calories in, calories out.
Anyway, I try to remind myself each day that I have lost weight, which is AMAZING. Those 12lbs will turn in to 15, then 20, then 25, etc...
I would be shouting "I lost 30lbs!" from the rooftops, as should you!
What a great accomplishment, and I am truly happy for you that you're beginning to notice the changes in your body and mind. Good luck on the rest of your journey!
