Default Back again :(

Yes.. I have been avoiding this place for awhile now.. Not because i dont want to lose weight because I was embarrased. I had lost 10lbs.. It's all back again..

My excuses that are not really excuses:

School started and it's HARD to pack stuff up to take when you are at school from 9am-8pm.

And I'm just freaking lazy...

I just hate when people tell me when I NEED to lose weight.. Dont you think I know that.. It's a HUGE HUGE pet peeve of mine.. It just makes me so mad..

I just needed to vent/ have somewhere to talk about this.. I fell off the bandwagon again and it's so embarrassing.. I was doing so good..

Oh and another thing.. I know cupcakes are bad.. But I NEVER eat them.. and I had one today and he just freaked out on me about a stupid cupcake.. It's not like I had 12 of the stupid things.. And I know that I should not be eating them but I never have them.. I don't even really like cupcakes because they are to sweet.. Long story short.. Cupcakes are not one of my trigger foods.. there can be a whole thing of cupcakes sitting out and I wont eat them.. And I dont think it's fair that he freaked out on me.

It is hard for most people to undertake two major projects like school and weight loss at the same time. Changing habits takes education and practice.

What plan are/were you on? And who are these people who are giving you a hard time?

I know.. It just seems like I try so hard and am not getting anywhere.

I wasn't on a specific plan.. Just eating less calories and eating healthier.. I did join a gym that was wonderful for the first couple weeks.. but I'm so busy it's hard to get there. (And I like to sleep lol) I'll just have to MAKE myself get up early and go..

As for who.. It's my parents. I'm over 18 but I still live with them because moving out on my own right now is not a option.. School and no job makes for a difficult time.

this site is super for support but as a weightloss tool have you tried myfitnesspal.com? I think it could really help you. It's been amazing for me. And I always turn to this site for advice and support because the forums on mfp are kinda catty and unsupportive in my opinion. But the calorie tracker, food journal, and exercise logs are awesome. Also, I would HATE getting up early to exercise. It would be really hard to make myself go. But if I were a college kid I prolly would take some required reading along to the gym with me and read while on the treadmill, elliptical, etc. Combine your studying with your exercise if you can. You can do it! I hope you don't give up and just take one day at a time.

PS... whoever got all over you for having a cupcake is a douche. ignore that mess. don't waste any time on him and trying to make him understand your struggles. he probably won't ever get it and you don't need to make him ok with you and your life. you aren't the jerk whisperer.
hugs

OP - I'm with you! Back again!

Life throws hurdles all the time! I had one thrown my way in June. I was down 89 lbs. I gained some back but I refuse to abandon this. We are all gonna have crap days/weeks/months. You only fail if you don't get back up!

Right now my weight loss is at 76 lbs. It was an even smaller number a few weeks ago. Eek!

Maybe you can have a talk with your parents about positive and negative support? That when they scold you for eating it makes you feel bad and then offer ways they can support you: stocking the house with good foods, eating their cupcakes outside the house, etc. Sometimes people just don't get it. Motivation doesn't work the same way with everyone.

Good luck!

Keep trying, we all have set backs. Just know that our success is determined on our endurance and not the stumbles we sometimes make while on the journey.
