Creative visualization is a huge part of my weight loss (there is a great book about it by Shakti Gawain) so I have a great mental image of myself in a cute khaki skirt and a crisp white blouse, great sandals with chunky sterling jewelry! Not too risque, but I sure would love to shop in Victoria's Secret instead of Granny Panties R Us!
I'm 20 years old, and I would personally like to wear a bikini one day, but I am fully aware there is a strong possibility that will not happen. Other wise I have a goal to fit into anything under a size 10! =D
Cute jeans that show off a booty that has been hitting the eliptical hard with a fitted (but not too tight) shirt and heels. I am ready to have cute jeans again!!
This thread got me thinking... I havent been picturing myself anymore at goal. So maybe that is part of the reason I got stuck. I can see myself in a cute workout outfit, and I also would love white dress pants and a flowly shirt. I want to be able to wear a cute mom of the bride dress also when my youngest gets married someday. I wore black to my older 2 childrens wedding. My sons wedding is what made me say NO MORE>>>I was miserable and fat.307lbs. By the time my daughter got married I was 225lbs and still stuck in that range.

Don't think like that! You are currently only a couple of pounds more than I was when I started and I wore bikinis in Spain last summer on holiday!!
Added to that you are young and (I presume) have had no children so you won't have so much of the loose skin/stretch mark issue that I have, so you will probably look MUCH better in a bikini than I do.
I have yet to see myself wearing anything in particular. I just see more variety in my choices of clothing. No bikini's, haven't worn one since I was about 10 years old. No cute jeans or fancy tops, just more choices.
Hmmmm Thigh boots, tight jeans, sleeveless tops. Though whether my upper arms will recover is another thing to think on...lol & A RED leather bike jacket when I go on hubby's bike, not a man's leather (coz of my fat arms)
xxxxxsharon

Believe in yourself!
Thank you for the encouragement. I really appreciate it.
I visualize myself wearing some size 10 Calvin Klein jeans with a really pretty top. I also can't wait to be able to wear some of the cuter style scrubs to work.
I want to wear a normal one piece bathing suit (no skirt) without feeling like everyone is staring at me!
I also just want to walk into Old Navy, or Penny's or Dillards and know that I will fit into all of the cute stuff there! I do not want to be regulated to Lane Bryant and the Avenue to shop.
Now, when we all reach our goal we can come back and read this thread again and see how far we've come.
I also, would love to wear more form-fitting (not super tight) really sexy (not sleazy) outfits, dresses (which is a no- no), and i definitely agree with the sleveless tops.
I'd also have to agree with the athetic outfits comment because yesterday when i went out for my walk, i realized that my workout pants don't fit anymore, and its because i've gotten bigger since i wore them last and they're already a bigger size! Sigh.
I would love to wear the cute, matchy, athletic workout outfits.
Ubercast, no worries hun!! You can do it, and you will be SOOOO proud of yourself when you do!
I see myself in cute athletic clothes going for a run. I see myself in pencil skirts for work and sundresses for fun. All with cute heels that I can't wear comfortably now...well no heels for running, lol.
I can envision myself wearing a one piece swim suit. Or any cute clothes in normal stores like JC Penny or Kohls without shopping in their plus size sections. I'd love to wear a pair of jeans or khakis that actually fit properly. I simply cannot find a pair of jeans that fit well and feel comfortable at my current weight. Pretty much all I wear now is stretchy capris and long tops.
