First...welcome new peeps and second *HUGS FOR EVERYONE*

This is a quick post as I'm about to dive into some coding, which is tedious lol. Annie sounds wonderful! You sound very happy and excited woo! Rat, I wish I had your bravery so I could go swimming. It is mostly my tummy and legs that I hate, so I don't even bother. I guess I never was comfy in a swimsuit though. Cyn, mountains would make me a weeee bit nervous too lol.

Well...I'm exhausted from the weekend and still recovering. More personals later...oh and I ate bad things, but I'm back on track and still REBOOTING.

*HUGS*

Jacquie: have fun coding lol

Annie: OH my gosh girl I am soo excited for you!! As you do here, you gave all those people hope and joy. Who knows what would have happened if you had not been there to speak. They now have the inspiration to continue on their journey. I hope you become a regular there. Maybe this is what God intended for you. I know here you have been an inspiration

Yesterday at work I had tummy problems. It got bad enough I went to the bathroom and cried. I am glad I have coworkers that understand. I go to the new GI Dr on Thursday.

Don't think I posted this but I have a freind who had her sister call me cause she had the same problems as me. She said she had her galbladder out in 2003. Yes she has suffered on and off for 7 years. She said the past year it has gotten real bad. She works in a hospital and several times would stop and have someone check her out. She like me was told you have acid reflux but nothing helped. She was told her might have IBS..nothing helped. She got to the point where she was more then just nautious..she was vomitting. One day she was at work and was ready to leave early when a nurse stopped her and had her try something. It was a shake from Herbalife. She said she has started using it last October. Within one week all her symptoms were gone. She is going to let me try it for a week and see how I do. I really hope this helps. I have heard of it but always thought it was just for weight loss. She said she has lost 35lbs on it but she did it because of her stomach issues. She said she thinks it will help me. She descibed the same symptoms as me. Even the burning..sour feeling I get in my stomach. I will let yall know how it goes!

Cyn, do you think it was the probiotic in the Herbalife? Probiotics work wonders for me!

Good Morning everyone,

Whew. I made it back here two days in a row! This time it won't all be about me

Jacquie: Good job getting back on track!

Cyn: I will always make time for speaking to other people about weight loss. I know that God gives me courage to go and speak about it because I am super shy and I just don't feel that way too much when I am speaking to them about it. I pray and hope that the Lord will open doors for me to actually have a job where I do that but in the meantime I need to pursue another road along side of this one I hope with all my heart that the Herbalife helps your tummy feel better very soon. I'm sure you will, but please let us know if it helps. I have a dear friend that seems to be suffering from similar problems.

Rat: Hi there girl. I will be riding my "inside" bike today as I am too wimpy to get out in the rain and ride my "real" bike. lol. I will be thinking of you though.

Hello and hugs to everyone else!

Today is one of my most favorite days of the week. It is YOGA day at the weight loss surgeon's office. I just enjoy it soooo much. I love to feel my body stretch and my muscles work. I am currently reading a book that Joel brought home from their "work library" about the snow skier Jill Kinemont. It is called, "The Other Side of the Mountain". When I was a young girl I saw the TV movie on it and I thought I would give it a try since Joel went to all the trouble of choosing it for me to read. It really keeps my attention and I am so impressed by her attitude and tenacity. It is funny because Joel thought it sounds like me in a way because of my health issues and I know what he is getting at but my goodness. It really makes me thankful for what I do have and to concentrate more on that instead of what I don't have anymore. Really puts things into perspective and helps me to stop feeling sorry for myself. Being human I realize that I will more than likely get back to a "poor me" thing for a while at some point and I pray that I will remember the book and all that that young lady went through.

I am attaching a photo of our next door neighbor's new puppy. They brought him over yesterday to meet me and he is so cute I wanted to share the picture with you guys. It will make you smile if you love dogs. His name is "Rusty" and he is 1/2 lab and 1/2 Newfoundland! He is 6 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds. lol.

Blessings all,
Annie

O.M.G. what a cute pup. Don't you wanna hug him and move his wiggly skin all around and get puppy kisses and tail wags?!? *happy sigh*

Annie, it's good to see you posting and rebounding from your gardening extravaganza. I read that book a long long time ago and it was wonderful!! I read so much that it's easy to forget a title, but that one has stuck with me. Never saw the movie. Can you read while you exercise? I can't seem to as my vision "bounces" ... hehe.. makes a lousy tennis player cuz I can't see the ball LOL. I am so glad that shyness disappears when you talk to your support group!

Hugs,
Ratkity

Rat – I agree. People can tell I’m fat whether I’m in a suit or in clothes. They can deal with it if they don’t like what they see. My husband does! I wear one of the skirt style, too.

Cyn – that is so scary! I am NOT looking forward to my daughter driving! Good luck with the new GI Dr. I hope he figures out what’s going on!

Neon – Yay on the bras! And good on smartening up!

Million – sounds like you need to spread out the eating more. I’m supposed to eat three meals and have 2-3 snacks. It’s hard to make sure I do that, but I always feel better when I do!!

Alicia – Do you go to Kings Island? I used to live in Montgomery and worked at KI for a few years. It will definitely give you exercise! Congrats on getting out!

Hi, Pink!

Annie – that incentive from your doctor’s office is wonderful!!! What a fabulous experience for you! It always helps to keep me in line to talk to other people. Congrats on the decision (maybe) for your future! That’s exciting. I remember “The Other Side of the Mountain”! Awesome movie! Very inspiring story. I should see if our library has it. My daughter would enjoy it. What a cute puppy!!!

I had a great day!! I helped out with the 3rd grade end of the year picnic. They got Happy Meals and ice cream cups from McDonald's for $2 per kid. I went to pick them up and the van stunk! Which felt kind of good. Then I was offered some of the extras. Wasn't even interested. yay! The ice cream probably would have been okay. But, I figured I wouldn't test it out. It was so hot and humid that food didn't sound good, anyway!!!

Now I need to take a shower and go to bed! I'm tired!

Hi guys,

Did Yoga today and we had a sub. She is the personal trainer for weights and my goodness she pushed us so hard and had us hold poses for so long I actually was sweating! I love it though. Came home and did the elliptical for 15 minutes and planned on getting on the bike for longer than 3 minutes but... Moose had other ideas. lol. I will ride more when I get home. I already have over an hour of exercise in today so not a big deal.

Rat: When I got home from Yoga today I took the photo to them and I indeed gave him squeezes and kisses on his little nose. He is so cute. When he is on the floor he is very playful but when you pick him up and snuggle him to you and give him kisses he snuggles right into your neck and gets all cuddly

I am not much on reading while I exercise either. I have most of my exercise equipment in the same room as my computer so I often listen to any sermons from church that I missed. Other times I drag the bike into the living room and watch something on Tivo or stick in a movie. Sometimes I just reflect and pray. Another thing I do which is so OCD and so me, is I do math. lol. weird I know but, it takes my mind off of things. Outside of exercising I hate, hate math. lol.

Carol: HUGS and glad to see you back. How is the pool doing since mother nature had her way with it? I hope not too much damage. How was your annual pool opening party?

Hey everyone else. I have a small focus group tonight that I had joined a while back and I really love it. It is about weight loss and food addiction etc.

Hugs and blessings all,
Annie

Annie - no pool party yet - getting a bit better - maybe able to swim by the weekend. Glad we had postponed the party since my flights were late and I would have missed it - you know me - can't miss a party. I'm not sure pups will ever let me leave again - especially Gracie - she won't leave my side.

Feels good to be eating fresh again. Veggies were few and far between on the Alaska journey. Also back to the gym tonight.

Life is good!

Rat: I take a probiotic now..have not started the herbalife yet. I take acidolphulus (sorry for the spelling) That I think has fixed my bad diarhea I had. Someone at work today said that it is GERD. She said that it is what she has and has had since her 20's. She is not in her late 40's. She said that once you have it you can NEVER get rid of it..I will probably keep switching from pill to pill. She is such a ray of sunshine! NOT!! Maybe I do have GERD..maybe I will suffer til I die..but that was not nice to say. BUT she is also the lady who said I was not "qualified" to get a paper jam out of our "expensive" fax machine LOL

Annie: Rusty looks adoarable!!!!! I so wanna hug him.

I am reading more and more of that new book I got at the library about eating "real food" OMG! It is really scarey what we are putting in our mouths. I swear I am gonna go way extreme like my mother in law one day! I can not even believe the government allows this stuff.

Although I have 2 Dr appts tomorrow I am glad I am off work!

I've been so busy, I hardly know what day of the week it is. I'll catch up with everyone when things settle down some.

Rat - we did see moose - and elk, dall sheep, one grizzly, black bears, whales, dall porpoises, eagles, black tail deer. My nephew was hiking sulphur mountain when he woke a bighorn sheep - separated only by three thin rows of cable. I happened to be zoomed in on him at the time - it was quite an encounter to watch.

Lindy - missing you!

Cyn,

Some probiotics have more than just Lactobacillus acidophilus. Primal Defense Ultra is the best out there from what my WLS buds say. The L. acidophilus helps mostly with lactose intolerance. Hope the Herbalife gives you that edge in your intestines that you need!

Hugs,
Ratkity
