Cyn I hope you get out for that meal soon, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Glad your sister isn't hurt, it must have been terrifying for them.xxxxxxxx
HeatherB WELL DONE!!!! I think your dream shows how much you are thinking about your weight-loss, I'm sure people will notice, don't forget to wear FITTED clothes to show off your new shape!!! No point if you're in baggy stuff no one will notice, so get your party clothes on!!!xxxxxx(ps WTG on trying for another 4lbs)
Kayley I bet you're exhausted! WTG on all that exercise AND work AND college! I hope it all turns out great for you.xxxxxxxx
Nightwing, diet is better than eating rubbish, I'm sure once you get back into the swing of things you can fit some exercise in. Be gentle on yourself, you've been through a lot recently.xxxxxxxxxxxx
Well my Dad was let out of hospital, it weasn't more bloodclots, bil is, hopefully coming out of hospital this week. Things are feeling & looking better, I had a gain, hope it's TOM as I ate rubbish last week. Not suprising really it was oldest son's birthday (23 & we aren't speaking after what he's done) & with no one knowing what's wrong with bil it was a pretty rotten week. The hospital are still running tests & they have no idea why his knee is so painful & immobile but his eye is improving, fingers crossed he's better soon.
xxxxxxsharon

Happy Bday Cyn!! Glad your family is ok and just missed their flight.

My little sister (in NC) and I were applying for WLS at the same time. She just got a letter saying she doesn't qualify because she's not "big" enough. She is devastated! The same day I got a surgery date (Feb 2). I haven't told her yet because she's very upset at the letter the Duke WL center gave her. Meanwhile, I have to start an exercise routine and the dr wants me to try to lose 10 lbs before surgery. That doesn't count the 7 lbs I gained over Tday!! eeep.

My laptop decided to die and I've gotten a cheaper one just to get on the net. It's such a pita to re-populate a computer with all the comfy things you are used to having. Good news is that the laptop had 2 drives in it and I put all my stuff on the 2nd drive, so all is backed up. I bought one of those boxes you can plug any drive into and read it.. so I didn't lose any data. Yay!

Hugs to all. I'm going to try to walk the Dreadmill today. Maybe it'll help my back spasms.

Hugs,
Ratkity

Voodoo1...thanks! and i am going to try my best to wear a holiday top that isnt too baggy but im not really comfortable yet wearing tops that are really form fitting so i will have to go thru my clothes this week and see what i can come up with to wear on saturday and i do think about my weight loss alot so that probably is why i had that dream!

Cyn...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope that your sister makes it into town ok and that you will be able to go out and celebrate your birthday.

Well, not much for me today just went out grocery shopping and bought some healthy stuff to eat this week...salad, cucumbers, green peppers so i hope to try to lose 3-4 lbs this week i would really love to lose 60 lbs by the end of the year that would be sweeet but i dont know if it is doable cause the end of the year is less than 3 weeks away but i will try my best. Well, gotta go and do some laundry.

talk to you ladies later!

Weighed in yesterday, and I'm down 2 lbs. I was hoping to make it to -50, but I'm only 1.6 lbs away now. That's my goal for next week. When I started this on August 1st, my goal was to lose 50 lbs by the end of the year, and that's what I'm aiming for! I'd like to lose another 50 by my 24th birthday, which is June 2nd. (the more the better!)

Worked out yesterday at home with Wii, then did some Yoga, and got on the recumbant bicycle. Giving my muscles a rest today, as it's back to the gym Monday-Friday!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

Sharon - Hope your Dad has a speedy recovery!

Ratkitty - That's a shame that you sister wasn't approved for WLS. I hope that she's able to find a balance, and can lose the weight with diet & exercise, so that you can both be on the journey together.

Heather hb - Congrats on hitting your goal!
